This is a cable you need if you want to watch HD movies or video from you MacBook to your tv if you don't have a strong wifi network at home or in hotels for AirPlay. I would have given it 5 stars but the price is high for a cable you don't use all the time.

Needed to connect a second screen to my work laptop (an older Dell) for work-from-home, but it didn't have any of the ports that matched the connection cords. Bought this to use with the HDMI to HDMI cord, and it works great. As a bonus, it also ended up working with my personal computer, an (also older) macbook air.

Purchased this adapter for my MacBook Air to display on a TV through an HDMI cable. The adapter works great! It plugs into the lightning port on my laptop and the other end fits the HDMI cable on the TV. Have been using the adapter for a couple of months now with NO problems. I would highly recommend this product. The price was great and the product has performed exactly as expected!

its a great connector for a macbook pro to a external monitor like a tv, projector, or computer monitor. the mini dvi and thunderbolt port both work with this connector.

This is a great adapter. It works very well, the build is solid, and it even looks real nice.

Had issues with my monitor and thought I had to replace it. Turned out my connector to mini hdmi from Insignia had gone bad. This one is great.

When my step-daughter needed an adapter to work with HDMI we weren't sure if we could find what she needed fast enough to have her ready for her presentation. Luckily, there was a Best Buy just a few minutes away. I walked in, found this product, checked with a representative just to make sure, and was on my way. This is now one of my tools that I will use just in case I need it!

I used to this converter to plug my Alien into my TV. It works just like it is supposed to. My only complaint is that it is a little expensive for what it is.

Lenovo laptop and not all fit the same, can be sloppy. Works well, seems like always buying another, easy to lose. Look for deals.

I needed a way to connect a 27" monitor to my Surface dock on my office desk. It had a typical HDMI port as one option on the monitor. Once this cable was attached it simply worked. The Surface immediately recognized the monitor, seeing the correct resolution, audio options, etc. All work perfectly through this adapter. It works well with TVs too.

Quality product and was a fair price. Easy to use.

This is pricey, but it works perfectly with an older Macbook Air, and did not require any installation of software or drivers. Other efforts to cast FaceTime calls to the TV had been hit or miss. So, get this device, and a long, cheap HDMI cable, and you're good to go.

I dont really have anything to compare the cord connector too, but so far it has worked like a charm.

I have had no issues with this adapter. I got it on sale and I am very pleased with its performance.

Easy to use and no loss of picture quality. Little pricey.
