This is the first non-Mr. Coffee brand maker I've bought in around 15 years. So far, I really like it a lot (about 8 pots brewed). The larger carafe (extra 2 cups) is nice and while I normally turn the strength up to full to get as much from the grounds as possible, this is the first maker I've used that it was TOO strong - this is a good thing. No worries, it has 3 settings, so I turned it to 2, which is perfect. All the necessary functions are included: clock/timer, pause and serve, good warming plate, easy to see reservoir window, and cleaning function. Pretty happy, especially with the BF 50% deal.

Context: I can make instant or fast food coffee work, but I prefer local coffee shops or national chains. While I prefer local coffee shops, I have no clue from where they obtain their coffee beans and it wouldn't matter to me if I learned this information. Why this model: Reviews were good and I prefer to save a buck when I can. My opinion: Makes perfectly acceptable coffee. Easy to use. I like a visible water line (which the $100 model we're replacing didn't have). For the coffee we use, having a disposable filter is a must as the factory-supplied filter typically left some sludge.

very good product works very well, keeps the coffee hot and is easy to use comes with a metal filter and has a large capacity.

I don´t have much experience with coffee and this is my first coffee maker that I know but I really loved it. Its really easy to use, the coffee pot is large so you can make coffee for a loot of people at once. Its really fast to make coffee and easy to clean. I recommend this product

Love everything about this machine! Been using a Keurig for the last few years, which is nice, but the taste of real brewed coffee can’t be beat. Love the automatic start that can be programmed the night before. Pot doesn’t drip/dribble while you’re pouring, which has been a huge problem with previous coffee makers. Slate color matches the rest of my appliances perfectly. Would definitely recommend.

This coffee make looks great and is easy to use. Programmable timer to make coffee in the morning is a lifesaver after having our first child.

We bought this to replace a low-priced machine whose control panel had become unreadable. It's very easy to set up and use, and it makes an very good cup of coffee. It's very easy to program. The large handle makes the carafe very easy to handle; even when full it's nicely balanced. We like it much better than the higher-priced machines we've used in the past.

So we love coffee, not Starbuck's but Pete's, Blue Bottle and other "real" coffee places. Unfortunately, at home the experience is hard to duplicate at home without huge pain - pour over filters, fresh roasted beans shipped from boutique coffee roasters. Sorry just don't have that kind of time. Our reliable Cuisinart, started to give us issues and it was time to replace and on a whim I decided to try this Best Buy brand. I had great luck with an Insignia TV I had bought a few years ago. Wow, this is a great coffee maker. First off, my wife loves her coffee strong, this maker can make every low quality coffee have flavor and be strong. We dialed it back because it was almost too black, strong. Second, it comes out hot. It was easy to program and it's great that it has a clean setting, keep warm option and it looks like a million bucks. I also got it on super sale with a daily deal special. BTW, did I say it makes great coffee, even with cheap coffee.

pros: makes very hot coffee, brews quickly, and extremely easy to use. brew strength selector actually works. cons: without paper filter the water flows too quickly thru the permanent mesh filter resulting in weak brew; to remedy this flaw I simply removed permanent filter and used one -time paper filter to make great coffee.

This coffee maker does the job. The features all work pretty well like automatic timer and auto shutoff. You can control the strength of the coffee, but basically its trial and error to get the coffee taste you want. I thought it was all stainless when I bought it but it's just on the outside anyway, it still works well enough. 14 cup is a bonus!

Works well. Coffee is tasty and hot. Maker looks great in our kitchen. The oversized carafe is a plus when company is over but I fear breaking it because it’s so fragile. Haven’t found a replacement yet for this size but I’ll keep looking as I like the coffee maker itself. Best Buy service was great and price was right.

Both my husband and I are Realtors with crazy, busy schedules. This coffee maker is so easy to operate and clean! The reusable filter is definitely a plus! It's quick and doesn't take up much space. We love that we can program it to start or turn off at a certain time. We haven't had any issues or complaints so far!

I really like this coffee maker. It is easy to use, easy to pour the water in because of the wide space to pour and the carafe doesn’t drip all over when you pour a mug like my MC did. It looks nice in my kitchen and the controls are easy to set up and use. The best part is the coffee tastes really good!

Love the look of this coffee maker and it makes a great cup of coffee. It is a little bit of a pain to set the Auto brew. Also my permanent filter was put together crooked and I have to use a paper filter or I have a pot full of grounds

Bought this for my mom, who looooves coffee, morning, noon and night. She loves that she can select the strength of coffee. The buttons on this machine seem way more durable than others we have tried. Hope this one lasts us a good amont of time

Love that I can set the brew strength for fuller flavor. Warmer keeps coffee warm without getting bitter tasting. Machine is well made and easy to use. Gold coffee filter collects 'sludge' so I just use a paper filter in the basket instead - works great.

This is a very smart looking coffeemaker. Works as great as described.

Did not want to spend a lot of money for a coffee pot, asked the Best Buy sales associate in appliances and he recommended this one. Glad I did easy to use can see how much water is being poured into the machine. Sleek looking and doesn't take up space. Makes great coffee.
