I was really looking for an upgrade from my small, dual 1080p monitor setup. I wanted a 32-inch monitor for media consumption and immersion, and it pairs nicely with my Google TV streamer, SFF Desktop, and my Lenovo Laptops
Since I won't have my own TV in my new student apartment, this monitor will probably outperform the one I'll have to share with my roommates. In addition, it provides a good balance for gaming and productivity, as I've already used it for some coding and gaming.
It local dimming blooming is subpar in some scenes, and can look quite displeasing to some. If the monitor can improve in one aspect I think it is lacking in is blooming control or maybe contrast in some modes. If your going to buy, blooming is a inherent flaw of the technology, but I would love for BenQ to tune the panel to match other brands Mini LED local dimming ability at the least.
