The docking station has two display ports at the rear, and the old adapter I had used in the past for my second monitor stopped working. I looked for a replacement and came across this one at Best Buy, so I purchased two. The total length of this adapter is approximately 7", and it is now connected to my new Samsung-T350 Series monitor; Works great and the picture is clear. Would recommend.
