Best Carpet Shampooer EVER!!! And I used to have a Kirby vacuum with shampoo cleaner. This cleans your carpet like a professional machine. In less than 10 minutes it completely cleaned a small bedroom that had a number of old cat urine stains. I have a very elderly, arthritic cat with kidney disease, who often uses the carpet in that spare room, which is why I bought this machine. I was skeptical that the stains wouldn't return after the carpet dried completely, but the following day the carpet still looked brand new. Money very well spent!

I think it is sucking the water and dirt out of the carpet but I can't see the clear plastic in the front very well without extending my arm and looking at an angle because the big buckets are obstructing my view. It's nice to see what you are sucking up to identify your uptake but I know it's doing the job as I empty the tank of very dirty water. I like it over the previous owned Bissell model because I prefer to just mix the water and shampoo together but miss the view.

This product is very convenient, versatile and reasonably-priced for a well-known brand. It does everything it claims on the box and looks to be rugged enough to last a while, if properly cared for.

Having a teenager and dogs is a carpets worst nightmare! This got up old dog stains, daughters makeup stains and an entire can of pop I was never told about!! Best investment ever!!

Went to best buy after work to pick up carpet cleaner,staff was very helpful, showed me different models,let me take my time and pick the one I wanted.Only thing I hated was you need to keep refilling water chamber but other than that loved it.

We have had this machine for a few months and have been able to use it often. As you can imagine with 3 boys and a dog, there are multiple opportunities to break out the carpet cleaner. We needed a new green machine and a new carpet cleaner so we decided to give this a shot. I was surprised how well it works. The combination is not heavy or bulky. The spot machine lifts off easily. My only complaint is that the cord and hose are not retractable. That should be an added feature for future models. Other than that the machine gets my tannish colored carpets looking clean and it dries quickly, so I know it suctions the water well.

This carpet cleaner is great. The majority of our home is carpeted with a light textured beige color and this machine does a marvelous job keeping the carpet looking refreshed and vibrant. It is easy to assemble and very easy to use. The design is improved from its predecessor in my opinion. I say that because the center unit can be detached from the main assembly and used as a handheld cleaner which is great for tight spaces like stairs or awkwardly positioned corners, or cleaning around furniture. When detached, the handheld component can be placed on flat surfaces and remain sturdy, just in case you do not want to hold it while cleaning. Would definitely recommend.

My old machine broke right when I had a carpet emergency. I spent days scouring through different cleaners and reviews of them. This one looked really neat being able to lift it off and take it wherever. It really is that easy! One review I read said something about the dirty tank being hard to rinse, I haven't had that problem but I don't let it sit either. It has powered up every mess my 12 year old and 2 year old boys have thrown at it. I can even say it is awesome for couch cleaning!

This is my second Bissell carpet cleaner. I kind of broke my previous one bouncing it up the steps. This machine did a good job of cleaning the 14 year old light colored carpet in my family room. My biggest complaint is that the water reservoir and the dirty water tank are too small. I had to fill it several times (probably 5-6) to clean 250 sq. feet. The other issue I had was the speed I should be cleaning at. My previous machine indicated when I was going the proper speed for the most effective cleaning. Maybe I was going to slow, hence the number of times I needed to fill the water reservoir. The last con is that there is no indicator that you have run out of water, you need to notice that your brushes are no longer turning. One of the new features I really like is that you mix your cleaning solution into the water rather than having a separate container, this insures uniform solution throughout the process. The machine did a great job of cleaning. If I hadn't had one previously with some features I liked, I probably wouldn't have any cons.

Although I had several pet stains, I had no idea how much dirt was in my carpets. Now they look new and my house smells much fresher. At 68, I needed something I can handle - and this is perfect for me.

Just like the title states, works great! It really, really cleans your carpet or upholstery(car or furniture) with ease. Very solid unit. Not something that will break after a few uses, and lightweight considering it's size. It's definitely the best deep cleaner I've owned so far, and I've had a few. I would buy another one if I ever had to. I also really like the portable spot cleaner!

I have a dog that is getting up there in age, and unfortunately he had a rather LARGE accident (#2) on my basement carpet. I purchased this machine to go in to combat. I was very pleased with the results. No more spots! I have had my carpets professionally cleaned in the past, and it seems like a few days later some of the dinginess comes back. It has not after 2 weeks from the date I used this machine. It takes a little bit of learning on how to get the best results, but having mastered it to some degree I like it a lot. The portable compact feature is also handy.

Very easy to put together & use. Did a great job on my carpets & dried fast. Only suggestion to Bissell would be to make the cord longer.

Tired of lugging around big carpet cleaner and trying to figure where to put the water and cleaner like I was? This machine is lightweight and very simple to use. My only complaint is it has a small water container (which is what contributes to it being lightweight so I wont complain too much about this). Would highly recommend this product.

the Bissell cleaner was simple to set up and is a great amount of technology for the price. it operates as a carpet cleaner or as a spot cleaner. the containers for the cleaner is easy to fill and the waste container was easy to dispose of without making a mess. the best part was how well it cleaned my carpet. works great.

The Bissell Lift-Off Deep Cleaner for Pets has proven to be both efficient and convenient. Being able to use it for both large areas then as a portable spot cleaner has really made my job so much easier! It works extremely well. One criticism is that if you use a high-sudsing carpet shampoo, you have to be aware, by the sound, that the machine has stopped sucking up the water... you have to dump out the dirty water before it will work again, even if there is still clean washing water left. Another criticism is that it is a bit hard to put the handle on the chassis. The place where the screws go is deeply recessed. You need a long-shanked screwdriver, you can't see the screws as you are trying to put them in, and they screw in at an angle, which, if you don't get it just right, makes it so the handle feels loose. The first time I assembled this cleaner, I was able to do so after some effort, but the second time (I received a replacement because the portable unit stopped sucking), I was unable to attach it tightly. I bought one for my daughter, and she was able to get the handle on securely with a little effort also. It has a good warranty, and with the purchase of Best Buy's additional warranty made replacing my faulty unit extremely easy.

I normally cleaned carpets once a year with rug doctor rented from local supermarket, but skipped a couple of years but was diligent about vacuuming. After cleaning with the DeepClean Lift-Off® Deluxe Pet Upright Carpet Cleaner, it not only removed more dirt than my Meile vacuum, it removed lots of pet hair. Outstanding rug cleaner and the best I've ever used.

I used this steamer and I am very happy with the results. I had another cleaner that stopped working on me so I bought this one. I must say it is far better than the one I had. Does a wonderful job on the carpets and is easy to use and to refill. When you are do clean up is a snap

We have to large breed dogs... it this machine works great to clean up after them. The hand attachment is great for those small messes .... ie cleaning up muddy foot prints after a storm. The floor machine pulls up pet hair out of the carpet that our vacuum just doesnt. All said i would highly recommend this machine to any pet parent.

I bought this cleaner after my other one stopped working. All in all, I would say that it is a nice find. However, if I had to name something that could be bigger, I would say that the tank for the soap and hot water is a bit small. Though, the powerful cleaning more than makes up for the small tank.
