Good entry level oven
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.For the price (you can pay 20% less with coupons), this counter-top oven packs a punch. Pros: Large enough to feed a large family, easy to use controls, intuitive, not heavy. Fits a 9 x 13 pan with handles. Does all that it claims to do. Black and Decker customer service is great and easy to get a hold of, and they will mail you a recipe guide if you call. Cons: Does not feel as solid as other ovens, does not include a drip tray large enough for the air fryer basket (you can use a cookie sheet), the door feels a bit flimsy. You can not choose the temperature for air fryer mode (it seems to heat to approximately 400 F, which will work for most recipes), and it seems as if the numbers written next to the dials will eventually rub off. I am not sure that this is a true convection oven, as the fan does not turn on when it is in bake mode. This oven is not as solid or versatile as the Cuisinart or Breville air fryer ovens, but it is also comparably cheaper and can broil, bake, air fry and toast pretty well. If you can afford to spend more money, the Cuisart and Breville are better alternatives, but given the price point, this Black and Decker unit is pretty good.

Huge toaster oven

I've just unplugged it to turn it off. This is a replacement oven for another Black & Decker that I've had for years. Probably won't use the air fryer...too extensive to clean but I love it to broil & bake.

I prefer my plain old air fryer

Size is nice and it is quiet, which I like. Good overall value, but if you want it strictly for the air fryer you’re better off getting a stand alone air fryer.
