I have been trying different phone for the last year like: iPhone 7 plus, pixel XL, s8+, note 8, and even pixel 2 xl. For me this is the complete package, long lasting battery, regular updates (slower than Google but much faster than Samsung), and it's getting the work done. In addition, I had no issue with the reception, even better than our note 8, I will attach pictures, running on the same network. It is really beyond what I expected, give it a try and you won't be disappointed.

Good for those people who want Blackberrys, but like android platforms. I bought and used for a month and gave away. Personally, I prefer a true Blackberry not anything with an Android platform with a touch screen. The only thing Blackberry are the keys and some icons

Battery life is stellar. Not necessarily life-changing, but I rarely have to think about my phone's battery while I'm on the go.
My favorite aspect of the device, aside from battery life? Its build quality. It feels solid, not cheap. Keyboard has a lovely clickiness to it. Better than the Priv. A hair less clicky than the BlackBerry Passport, but you get used to it.
The worst aspect of the device? Its name. Not as bad as the Priv, but wacky capitalization that I see is messed up everywhere online.

The BlackBerry KEYone is the first device with a keyboard that I have used in a few years. Even with some downsides it allows for the return to what matters most, communication. The device is a good size, built well and has excellent battery life. The device brings back memories without feeling out of date. The keyboard is a good size and has a satisfying click and good key travel. The camera is excellent when there is appropriate lighting, if the light is minimal the photos can become grainy. The device is thin enough to allow typing with one hand. The device is thicker than most however has a nice weight without feeling top heavy or bulky. Overall the build quality is impeccable, it feels like a BlackBerry from years ago, a device that was designed to out last everything else on the market. Previously using an iPhone a fingerprint sensor is second nature but this device has one of the fastest and most reliable that I have used. With some software updates this device will only get better with time. If you are in the market for a smartphone that allows you to complete real work with minimal distraction this device is the one that you need.

I'm very pleased with this purchase, I also own a Galaxy S7 Edge and you can tell the difference in performance and the feel of the device in your hands, it's a bit heavier but not too much this giving the feeling of luxury and robustness. Both rear and front cameras work like a charm in a array of ambient ligtñht situations. Battery life is average and having a physical keyboard makes the device easier to use.
Security wise, it does has several settings like data encryption to keep sensitive information secured.
Bottom line, it depends on what you're looking for.

I have owned a Blackberry phone since acquiring the Pearl many years ago. Even after Iphone was introduced, I continued to acquire and use Blackberry phones because of their security and the keyboard. My prior phone was a BBQ10, which had more available apps then previous Blackberry phones but still no where the number available for Iphone or phones using Android.
The Blackberry Keyone is by far the best Blackberry i have ever owned. It has all of the apps available for an Android phone but has the security and, most importantly, the keyboard which has always been the critical feature for me. I absolutely love this phone.
My wireless carrier, ATT, does not offer this phone but i think this will change when the word gets out how great this phone is. I was lucky when i strolled into my local Bestbuy store and on a whim, asked when can I get the new Blackberry. The sales person said they just got one in and it is the only they have. I was lucky because on Amazon there was a 1-2 month delivery date and the Bestbuy website said the phone was unavailable, at the time. Now the site shows sold out. I think the the manufacturer, TCL, did not anticipate the demand nor did its potential re-sellers and distributors. When I took my phone in for activation, the ATT rep was very impressed and showed my phone to his associates. Many thought Blackberry was "dead." I think the Keyone will dispel this myth.
The security with many apps is outstanding. After all, our previous President was allowed to use a Blackberry for secure communications because of its security features. I purchased an IPAD for its apps. now with this phone, I do not need the IPAD for this purpose. The only issue I have is the limited accessories available for the Keyone, like holster case choices. I think this temporary as more of the phones become available and creates a market for more accessories.
I think this is the best phone on the market for those who want access to many apps, a keyboard and the best security. Matter of fact, I am not aware of any other smart phone with all three of these features. Blackberry is not dead and very much alive!

I have been a blackberry fan for 10 years. Never upgraded beyond a Curve on the prepaid plans. Ordered this and set it up with verizon prepaid. I LOVE the full keyboard and with the android OS it lets me play Pokemon Go. It has amazing battery life. Light use lasts easily 3 days. I played pokemon go for over 5 hours and it only went down 65%. Fingerprint reader is a cool feature and camera takes especially good pictures. I dont use the scrolling keyboard a lot but I have tried it and it is responsive. Dtek security is an interesting feature. There are more features that I haven't used yet, but when I am bored and decide to explore my phone I enjoy finding new features to learn.

Blackberry's partnership with TCL is amazing. They have produced a great smartphone that is the best of both worlds: it has a physical QWERTY keyboard and the virtual touchscreen! The phone is sized very nicely so that it feels comfortable to type in. The availability of Google applications expands your choices whether it be for business or gaming concerns. The camera shoots decent pictures provided sufficient lighting. Privacy is important to me so I appreciate DTEK'S protection. The battery lasts over a day with continual use. Cellular reception has been great so far. I must say, the Keyone is a very satisfying device to use.

I love that it has a real, physical keyboard. I hate the on-screen keyboards; just a personal preference. Has a nice feel to it and the battery seems to last a long time. The unlocked version I bought works great with the MetroPCS system. I'd intended to get it for the Straight Talk system, but they don't allow branded, unlocked phones. I love that I get a mobile hotspot with MetroPCS.

Really enjoyed my BlackBerry Passport SE, however, the lack of working applications was getting worrisome. I purchased and have been using the Keyone for almost a week now and WOW! The battery last me easily two full days, all Google services are available, and the keyboard is excellent. Just sold my iPhone 7 Plus. Not looking back!

Have always been a fan of blackberry phones. I was very excited when this one came out and purchased it. I am extremely pleased with this phone and have had no issues at all. I like the weight of it and the size of it. The keyboard does not interfere with the screen at all. It holds a charge that is unbelievable.

It has a keyboard, it has excellent battery life, has decent built-in storage, and accepts a 128GB microsd without complaint. Sure it doesn't have 1080p display or a Snapdragon 835, but the display is good enough for my uses and it can do some gaming when i need it well enough.

This phone is amazing! I love the keyboard and all the features. It has amazing security and camera. This is the best phone I've ever had and won't ever go without a keyboard again. It is the best of both worlds- touch screen and keypad. I am constantly being asked where I got my phone. I love it and it is a great price for a top of the line phone with all the bells and whistles.

I've been waiting for the Key2 to come out -- I've seen the features of the Key2, but when the KeyOne became available for $399 (and BestBuy does price matching), I couldn't justify the extra $250 for the improvements. Plus, my other phone is dying.
I REALLY LIKE the KeyOne. Compared to my Blackberry Passport, it's faster. It fits more easily into my pocket. I can run full Android on it (and don't have to jump through hoops to get Android apps to run on it, like I did with the Passport). Battery life IS impressive - my Passport battery didn't hold a charge - the KeyOne is fine all day, with plenty of juice to spare.
Having been away from Android for a while, I'm still fine tuning it to meet my work habits, but overall, this seems like a great fit for my needs.
I still have to change notification tones, set reminders up so I can actually HEAR them, and do some other fine tuning of the KeyOne.
The Key2 isn't out yet. It's not unlikely that the KeyOne will drop in price (althugh Blackberry Mobile created two pricing tiers - the KeyOne is $499, the Key2 is $549, so they may not drop the KeyOne's price).
The fingerprint scanner works well and quickly - so it's easy to unlock the phone (and others can't get into it without a backup passcode). Security on this phone seems to be very good.
I'm expecting to have this updated to meet my personal needs, and hope that it keeps working for many years to come...or until I just can't resist upgrading to the Key 2, or 3, or 4, or ???

I love Blackberrys, so this phone was a no brainer for me to look into. I was not disappointed! Love the key board and all it's shortcut options! Very fast operating system, and the camera is nothing to sneeze at. Lots of storage and did I mention the keyboard is amazing!? So far my best phone yet.

I had an iPhone before I bought this phone and have been a loyal Apple person. I was getting tired of replacing my phone all the time, so I thought I should try something new. I am very glad I gave the Blackberry Keyone a shot! The battery is great, i can run about 1.5 days on it with heavy use. I love the key board. There are just a few things that I miss on the iPhone.
