ALL of the Blink stuff I have ordered is getting this same review. After doing an insane amount of research for a home security camera system I settled on Blink for ease of set up and cost. In both of those areas there really isn't a close second. As far as reliability, I'll check in again in a year or two--but other reviews indicate reliability is good. So, good news: easy set-up, great prices, video quality is as good as any, motion sensors and other software adjustable stuff is easy to understand and do. Bad news: The system is a little slow. I knew that going in, so it might be a bigger deal to you. I'm willing to live with it mostly--down the road I plan to put in a much faster, wired, real time system with only one or two cameras, and Blink has a new "Sync Module" that is supposed to have greater range--and maybe speed things up a bit. It has notified me of low batteries a few times--so now I just let it go and they seem to recover on their own. I've also had one or two go offline and I had to reinstall them. I think there are two factors causing this, and again for the price I am willing to live with it. For one thing I have the wireless range maxed out even with an extender for my WiFi network. The other factor is it is currently the dead of Winter and cold beyond all reason. 9 degrees last night, high is 31 today. Lots of snow and wind, too. I'm harder to get along with in this weather myself, so I'll put up with some additional problems with electronics that live outside. Bottom line? After three months I'm happy with it and I recommend any and all of the parts of the system I've bought. It works as advertised and it's way cheap--including the annual subscription if you want cloud storage. I will be buying a couple more pieces soon. Great videos! Easy to use and lets me know when someone or something activated camera!

Super simple to set up, easy viewing through app. Good motion detection. Pretty sweet.

Easy to install and the quality of video is outstanding. Was able to down load app and get notified on my phone. Can also use with and without subscription, just need memory stick without.

We've had them up for about three weeks and so far so good. Video quality is good and we haven't had any issues with them. We have been able to check out the deer that run through our yard.

I love that I can now see who's around my house, mailbox, driveway, street, and who uses my driveway to make Y-turns and hits my garage door.

I love the new cameras. I had the model before these a nd normally I can’t see a difference in upgrades but this video quality is great!

Very easy to install, we had a service call for are off grid system and were able to communicate with them, we are very pleased with the system.

This thing works flawlessly in the daylight, and at night time. Love the person detection on it. No issues at all.

2 weeks ago I bought 5 blink camaras 4th generation and 1 blink doorbell. I just installed them Saturday 7th October 2023 and 1 of the 5 camaras is went offline right next morning in Sunday. Okay I remove batteries and Install them again, working good and everything then Tuesday again same camara went offline and now another Camara is detecting motion but not recording videos. Short story the camara that was going offline is not turning on again, not even with another batteries from another Camara. I have been back and forth with blink customer service how to fix all this problems and all they said is remove batteries to troubleshoot. I am really disappointed because I can not be removing the batteries on the 2 camaras, I have on the front of the house every 2 days just because one of them going offline and the other one detecting motion but not recording videos. I thought would be a good experience but planning on returning them. They have good quality but this is kind of frustrated. Not sure if module does not support 6 items connected at the same time or what can be the problem.

Works well. The added field of view verses 3rd generation seemed like a plus but it distorts the edges of the image compared to photos posted of the 3rd generation. However, it does reasonable for my needs. The motion sensing is best if the motion is across the view, so aiming directly AT a pathway or driveway tends to only trigger the camera when people's motion turns away from the camera (see photo of where it started recording on a package delivery). Paying for storage and some "advanced" features is the new trend in cheap systems so you'll have to weight that in your decision.

I love that I can see what's going on even though I may not be home. I get to come home and watch some interesting clips sometimes, like a family of raccoons and a cat peeing on my car wipers. Darn cat's pee rusted metal of the wipers.

I was all hyped about getting these cameras but once I got them, nothing was different from my $25 dollar camera that I didn’t have to have a subscription to. Overrated in my opinion.

Work great! Battery life is short. Batteries are expensive.

I got it on sale so it was a good price and it was easy to set up and install
