I purchased this at the beginning of the lockdown in March to use for Zoom and instrumental music recording. Not knowing how long this would last, I did not want to spend a lot. Since then, I have also tried the Yeti, and for the money, I still think the Snowball is great. You just need to experiment with the distance from the mic, and recording levels. After that, it's quite good for any virtual projects you'd need to complete.

I came across this microphone while it was on sale and decided to give it a shot as i have only ever used the microphone my headsets have came with. When i plugged it in and heard the quality of sound i was suprised because the sound was as clear as day.

It is an excellent microphone and very affordable. I bought it for podcasting and videoconferences and it works great, it does not sound like you are in a cave which mi laptop mike does. My only complaint is that the base screw is not standard camera tripod compatible so I can not use my camera tripod with it. I understand it is microphone standard, but a simple adapter would fix it for us non-professionals.

This microphone is simple and easy to use. Very good for the price. Would highly recommend to a friend.

Great pickup and sound quality overall a very good mic for the price

My purpose of buying this Mic is for educational usage. I am not one to socialize but I need a good mic that cancels background noises for my presentations for online college. I have tested it out and it sounds great and no sounds of fans,creaking chair and,keyboard taps. The Overall quality of the Mic itself is excellent For such a great price.

I got a lot of compliments from my Discord about the quality of my mic audio after hooking this up. Upgraded from some cheap turtle beach headset I've had for years. Took this out of the box, plugged it in and it just worked. Really couldn't ask for anything else especially at this price. Are there better mics out there? Yes. But for what you get at this price, it really is great. Came recommended to me by a lot of people.

Can I just say. I absolutely truly love this product. I’ve been using it for the past 2 or 3 days. It’s a great quality for the price before I was recording audio off my phone. With this I now have such cleaner audio. I’m in love especially because of the white.

Mark my friend and IT specialist recommended snowball for a desktop microphone. He purchased it for his son's system at home and found out that his son really liked it. I have been using it for dragon dictate and pasting verbal thoughts and instructions into OneNOte at work and at home. It works really well for dictation and OneNote. There are more expensive models in the snowball line for disc-jockey types but this model works just fine for my uses.

My son purchased this mic for his video game streaming. The sound is really, really nice. Easy to use!

For 50 dollars this mic is awesome and gets the job done! I primarily use it for streaming purposes

I use this to record guitars, vocals, and other instruments. The sound quality is very good for the price I paid. You need a pop filter for vocals, but that's about it. I only had one problem...I use Windows 8, and I have usb 3.0 port on the computer. The Blue Snowball would register and install and stuff, but when it was plugged into the 3.0 port, would not work at all. Need to have it plugged into a 2.0 port to work. Other than that, it's pretty good tbh

It has a good quality and sounds. The size is slightly large and awkward shape. My buying experience was a positive one.

My daughter uses this to record herself singing. Very nice sound pickup...very clean replication of sound without grabbing ambient background noise. Only complaint is that the tripod stand screws into the base of the mic. Plastic threads that stripped within the first week so tripod won't secure. I've glued it to the mic permanently.

This is by far the most profession computer microphone I have used. Sound quality is perfect. It is however bigger and heavier than a baseball
