I don't personally care for the shape, but everyone else seems to like it when they see it in my office. I use it to record voice overs for web presentations. My only complaint is that you have to get very close (or talk very loudly) for the volume to register at the desired level, even with the settings maxed out on the PC.

Not a big deal. I'm glad I bought it, especially for the price. Works great. If you want to hear it in action Tune in Scuba radio every Sat 3-5 on your computer. Listen for Casey on the scuba squad.

To be honest I can't tell much of a difference between this one and the Blue Yeti (not an audiophile though) other than the Blue Yeti has more features and looks better in my opinion. If you're looking for a solid mic at a great price then this is a solid choice.

It is met my expectations, and then some! Very happy with sound quality. The only thing I wasn't completely aware of is that is does require a USB connection, but it comes with a long cord so it is not a deal breaker.

Best Bang for Your Buck

It has a high sensitivity, but, depending on the program you record your audio with, you can more than likely change that. There are better mics out there, but none in this price range are better than the snowball. If you get the chance to get one, for whatever purpose, definitely get it. I would also recommend using a pop filter as well...
