The Snowball Ice Microphone is fantastic! It provides great sound quiality for a cheap price. I personally use this microphone for YouTube purposes and my experience has been a good one. My one and only con is that the stand is slightly flimsy.

I really enjoy this product. I rate it 5 stars because it's easy to set up with a USB cable. It works for many things: music,skype, YouTube videos and more! I really recommend this product. It is also very sturdy I dropped it from my desk a few times and no damage. I asked my friends on Skype and they said there was a very large difference.

Easily the best sounding mic i've ever owned after adding some stuff, like a pop filter, suspension and boom arm. well worth the money. i've actually bought a second one to give away.

I was worried I would need a pop filter right off the bat to use this based on how much sound the reviews said this captures. However mic science works, I was still fine with this right out of the box. Plugged and played with it directly out of the box on my Mac, and started interviewing last month. It was cheaper in the store without a sale than on Amazon's listing, so you may want to price check this product.

I don't regret buying the Blue microphone snowball. I have used it a couple times now. I am waiting for my table so I can place it there. I bought this product so I can record my speech and improve on my diction. I'm also planning to podcast and record short films in the future. The product is very simple and easy to use. The instruction manual helped a lot! Please read before using it-very insightful tips, especially for a beginner. The quality is superb for the price I payed for. Thank you for that. Highly recommend it!

I've been using this for a couple of weeks and absolutely love it. Plug and play. Sound is not the best, but for $50 there's no reason to complain. You would have to spend a lot more money to get slightly better sound quality. I would highly recommend this to anyone getting started out to do any sort of streaming or recording youtube videos. If you're trying to do music related videos, you probably already know you need something better. But for just speaking. Great mic. Only issue is the flimsy stand. If you have it on a table/desk and bump the desk, the mic will definitely pick that up. I would recommend getting a boom arm which can be bought for pretty cheap.

I originally went to Guitar Center looking for a microphone so that my wife could play our newly purchased rockband game. The prices were very high and they did not have a good selection of microphones that we could purchase for the game. On the way home, my wife checked the best buy website and found that they had this microphone in stock for much less than at Guitar Center. We looked at the reviews and stopped in to purchase it on the way home. I think the Sales Associate thought we were crazy for spending so much on a microphone but it works much better than our old usb microphone and she is happy which is good for everyone.

This mic is amazing at the price point, easy to use, and compatible with most mic stands. I highly recommend getting a pop filter and using audacity for the best results!

total newbie when it comes to creating videos, and I needed to improve the sound quality of the narration in my videos. After some research I bought this mic. Its was supposed to be a mid grade, but its works like a top grade product. Super easy to use, awesome sound quality. Now I do put my sound through noise reduction software afterwards, but I really don't have to. There isn't that much to clean as this mic records very clean sound in the first place. It was a game changer for me.

This is a great mic for recording for YouTube or using on video chat software. It has a clear sound and picks up voices great. I would recommend this for someone who does college PowerPoints and YouTubers. A great mic for the price.

I initially went into Best Buy grabbed this baby and started to head out when I seen another mic, it was the Blue Ice. I read and though that the Snowball would not be worth my money and I could NOT have been more incorrect. I am a youtuber and I also do voice overs, podcasts, streams, etc. If you are considering starting a career or have one and need a great mic (Beginner or not) I would highly recommend this mic hands down and not think twice about it. I went to guitar center and purchased a pop-filter for the digital book readings I do online to reduce "p-p-p-pop or sssstatic" when speaking and it woulds way better than I thought it would be. If your on the fence don't be, Blue as a company happens to be very impressive so far. I am and will upgrade to the Yeti one day but for now this is all I need.

It is a great looking mic and Blue Mics are amazing. This is definitely work $50, I would just recommend spending the extra $50+ for the Blue Yeti at least.

I got the Blue Microphone Snowball iCE mainly as a reference from several of my fellow VA's and singers. The sound quality is by far magnificent and it hardly ever picks up any background noise unless it's right near you or very loud and even then, you hardly notice it. It's bends back too, so that helps for when you are standing to record a song piece or sing. Altogether would highly recommend it for anyone thinking of going for a career in singing, voice acting, or music

As a professional sound engineer I was amazed at how well this mic sounded going directly to DAW through USB. Seriously blown away. The only thing I advise is to make sure there is no reflective surface behind the mic, and to either speak off axis or get a pop filter to eliminate vocal pops. Seriously blown away. Great job Blue I highly recommend this mic for podcasts.

Got this for presentations on Webex and Teams. My laptop microphone stopped working so I got this because it was the only thing I could get my hands on for a big presentation. Sound was good but I didn’t realize when I bought it...there wasn’t a mute button. So I took it back and ordered a Yeti Nano. The Nano is twice as expensive but it has much better sound... and a mute button. If you don’t mind that it doesn’t have a mute button... this will be fine for you. And it looks cute on your desk.

This microphone is fantastic. I did my research and there is nothing better at this price point. Crisp, high-quality sound that works great for streaming, podcasts, or any other audio need. I highly recommend this device since it is easy to set-up and works well. I took it a step further for the perfect sound by downloading a mixer on to my PC and tuning the sound, but it works really well without the need for that.
