This product was purchased for commentary on videos. It does a great job of picking up the voice without it having to be right in your face (like when you're playing 1V1 on xbox and don't want to have to "speak" in to the mic). Great sound quality and easy to use.

Quality audio for online meetings, video narration, music recordings, and podcasts. Great value for the pricepoint as well. Highly recommended.

Got this mic on sale, it sounds great, but the lack of control software is disappointing. My only complaint is the stand that comes with kinda sucks, hop on Amazon and buy a $20 mic arm for it.

Plug and play, easy to use, sounds great for the price. Red LED light at the top is always on which is a little annoying. Use primary with MS Teams for work, plugged into a docking station and a MacBook Pro. If you want more bells and whistles like a mute button, may want to step up in price range. No issues with sound coming out of computer speakers. Recommended.

I would suggest this mic to anyone who wants clearer sound than what then the stock mic that come with the laptop. It's also great that you can connect it to the iPad with and adapter

Just plug and go with windows, I've had no issues using it for work meetings and for gaming. Never had anyone ask me to adjust my mic, or tell me I was difficult to hear or hard to understand. The stand works great, but does take up some room on the desk. I might consider upgrading with a mic boom. It's nice this mic is so versatile, even as the budget option.

One of the problems of working from home is finding the right audio setup for conference calls. I’ve tried over a dozen headsets as well as built—in microphones in cameras, laptops, and a USB speakerphone, but of them was able to capture my (admittedly deep) voice. That one is a goofy looking Bluetooth headset that loses clarity whenever the household microwave oven is used. Enter the Snowball iCE. It easily picks up my voice and delivers a natural sound. Using the Snowball as a USB microphone frees me to use whatever headset I want, as I don’t have to worry about audio quality or 2.4gHz interference. The only downside is that it requires a custom tripod (included), and the legs fold down, not up for easy carrying. The hinges on the tripod feel a bit cheap, but so far I’ve not had any issues with them and a online search shows no long term complaints. If you’re looking for a way to capture your voice without emptying your wallet, this is a great option,

The Blue Snowball iCE is a great mic for 50 bucks. Only downside was that it’s TOO SENSITIVE. Seriously don’t get this mic if you have a noisy background at all. I even tested the mic at 100% volume in Windows settings and it picked up my PC fans which are pretty quiet. I’d suggest to everyone who buys this mic to keep it close to their mouths and adjust the volume from there.

Big but easy to install and use and cheap. If space not an issue, consider it.

I bought this to make lets play videos and record high quality audio. I personally don't like the aesthetics of this mic but it does sound great. I think it would be fine for podcasting, recording voice for game play videos, ect. I would probably get something else for music recording but there are plenty of youtube videos where people used this mic for that too. Well worth the price if you are just getting started with recording audio. My only suggestion is to make sure you have the mic directly in front of your mouth. I have mine right behind my keyboard and it sounds great.

This mic is easy to set up and use. Makes good sound. Great first mic for pod casts. It is a little bulky and it is USB only.

Good build quality for a cheaper mic. Recording volume and quality for streaming is not too bad either. Certainly for the price, you wont find much better!

Hi, The Blue Microphone- Snowball iCe Wired Cardioid USB Plug n Play Microphone was purchased last June 2021 for my podcasting. It's a great microphone with a great sound card for the price, however, This February 03, 2022, It stopped working in the middle of my recording. I am heartbroken without it because I can not afford a replacement right now and can not reach the company to see if they honor an exchange. Laverna podcaster.

Great desktop mic, I would recommend to put this on a boom stand with a pop filter for the extra clarity. You cannot beat the price for this mic, I have two of them and recommend them to friends for standalone mic and headphones combos.

For the price, it is a great option. If you don't want to do a lot of research for a microphone at this price point, it is a safe option but I wouldn't say it's the best. There definitely is better but this is simply reliable. It is fairly good for the price and because it's made by Blue, you already know it should be a decent product.

It's not the highest of quality but it does a very solid job and sounds pretty clear. It does pick up a lot of extra sounds so I tend to have to turn the sensitivity down a bit, which makes my voice lower, but if you're near the mic it does the trick. That's probably more of a 'me' issue since I have my pc near the mic and it'll pick up the fans and that can be heard in the background unless I turn down the sensitivity.
