Great Humidifier Design

Dry house in winter, reviewed Consumer Reports and this is the highest ranked to cover a large bedroom. First shipment was a dud, electronics didn’t turn on. Local Best Buy store made for easy return and reorder. Next shipment worked fine. Easy setup and can control from app. Nice design, good rubber feet keeps secure on counter/furniture. Holds almost a gallon of water. Puts about a gallon into yhe air about every 18-24 hours, shooting for 42% humidity. BlueAir website seems to have issue, not letting me place a filter order for the air purifier, get in a continual loop when trying to checkout and BlueAir Customer Service was non-responsive. Fortunately, was able to order the purifier filter replacement from Best Buy, hope Best Buy will also carry the humidifier filters.

Quiet but not powerful enough

It's easy to fill, but the "Max" fill line is tricky to see if the unit is on the floor. Not so powerful as advertised ("Humidifier for Large Rooms...delivering up to 48 hours* of clean, moisture-rich air"). Doesn't reliably last 24 hours. I'll have to buy a second unit to humidify the area. But since it's quiet, I'll probably do it.

Regarding the room size, the unit is designed to hydrate large rooms quickly, up to 500 sq. ft., but the runtime of your humidifier on a full tank can vary depending on the size of your space and the natural humidity in your environment.

The app is simple, the unit is easy to maintain, and it humidifies my bedroom overnight, making it easier to live in this new desert environment.

I also love how this doesn’t have any buildup on furniature because of its “dry mist”. That being said, automatic mode just doesnt cut it. You have to put it on manual full blast to see any real benefit. I love the idea but the execution needs work.
