I've been using the BOOX - 10.3" Note Air2 Plus E-Ink Tablet in Pine Green for a few weeks now and I am absolutely delighted with this product. It's an exceptional tool that combines a high-quality reading experience with the capability of a tablet, making it a game-changer in the e-ink market. I was pleasantly surprised by how well it mimics the sensation of reading on paper. The screen is incredibly sharp and clear, making text easy to read even in bright sunlight. I had never used an e-reader before so I wasn't sure exactly what to expect. If you're used to standard tablets, you should not expect this to work the same way by any metric. It simply won't do the same stuff. What it does do, though (reading and taking notes), it does really well. I've started using it for most of my note taking as it allows me to have as many pages as I want without a pile of paper. The pen is very responsive and honestly more fun to write with than the Apple Pencil 2. The main reason to get this over a Remarkable is more open access to various file formats, Bluetooth functionality, and the flexibility of running on Android. The main reason to get it over a Kindle is not being tied into the Amazon ecosystem. The biggest downsides are the price and how difficult it can be to find a case - which is a big deal 'cause the screen can crack pretty easily. A protection plan isn't a terrible idea for this reason, but don't worry about a screen protector. It ships with one already installed, which does give it a nice paper-like texture and matte finish making it easier to read. I would not recommend this to EVERYONE, as the device fits within a pretty narrow niche for it's price-point, but if you are looking into a device about the size of a notebook that can run a large variety of file formats, doesn't lock you into a proprietary media ecosystem or come with any monthly fees, and has a lot of useful features for note-taking - and it fits in your budget - this is a great option.

Best E-reader you could possibly ask for. Great battery life, awesome screen and full android app capability.

I love using this for notes and reading. The fact that it runs a full version of Android is awesome, even if many apps don't work so well in black and white and on a screen with such a low refresh rate.

This is absolutely the best e-reader available. I'm an avid reader and use a lot more apps than Kindle, which means that I've been reading on tablets and laptops for years. Because of the backlight that LCD screens use, I get frequent headaches during long reading sessions. Because of this, I've been on the search for an e-ink tablet for a long time. Well, I finally found what I was looking for. This can download Android apps, opening a world of possibilities for reading, and the stylus works amazingly well through the built-in note app, but I use OneNote and it works quite well. The screen is great (as long as you know what e-ink is) and the front lights work really well. If you're in the market for an e-ink reader, look no further.

I love it, This is the first E-ink tablet I've used. It recognizes my handwriting fast and on point it really is like using paper. The fact you can use all google apps like Drive without a subscription is amazing. With access to the Play store it makes this a better option then other E-ink Tablets.

The firmware and writing app was phenomenal. Refresh rate was good

Bought this primarily to read larger sized books and to take notes for work calls. Works really well for both. I'm very happy with it.

It’s a great device to take notes and keep yourself organized in school or work

They didn't have the item on hand and the online store wasn't working to check out, so I went to the store. Wish the online store working because the young lady at the counter wasn't friendly at all. No greeting, no thank you...instead I greeted her. The device arrived in the mail on time and I've been exploring it since. I've contemplated on returning it but so far it seems to do what it says. Wish there were more instructions though.

Lots of options for writing and drawing including layers. online store gives you free ebooks. Thousands of free ebooks by Project Gutenberg so I guess that will be 70,000 plus books. Has google play store. There is some lag in reading on the kindle app. Plays youtube videos surprisingly well given its an eink device. it's the closest thing to a tablet considering its eink. It will not perform like a regular tablet so its no ipad lol. You have google play store but its more geared to productivity, notes, drawing, pdfs ... etc
