So far after using our new Dishwasher only a few times it has been great. It does a wonderful job of cleaning the dishes and it is so quiet that we cannot hear it and it is only 20 feet away from where we are sitting watching TV. I do recommend and I chose this because it was highly rated by Consumer Reports Magazine and so far I’m happy. Now the negative. I’m not pleased with Best Buy as I originally went to buy this on December 10th, Even though I went the next morning after I received an email showing it to be on sale, they said there were none available so I settled on the next model down. They promised delivery in time for Christmas and gave me a date for delivery. A few days later I was notified that there would be a delay to sometime in January. After a couple more weeks I was notified that delivery was delayed again until February 27th. I was very frustrated and unhappy as they once again were advertising the same models on sale. Once again I went to Best Buy and the salesperson was very helpful and said he could provide the original model I wanted and that it could be delivered sooner. So he cancelled the order and updated my purchase to the Bosch 500 Series which I originally wanted. It has finally arrived on February 15th and we had a great delivery and installation team that got it all set up with no problems. So far we are very happy with the new dishwasher.

i love my new QUIET dishwasher. It is such an improvement in our household. Cleans very well. I would change the design of the flatware compartment if I was a designer in order to create more space.

Nice dishwasher, great price for a floor model. I have only washed 2 loads so far, but they have come out sparkly clean. Like the remote start, but the app is not user friendly (at least for a baby boomer!) Like I mentioned earlier, this was a floor model and was missing a few things even though the tag said “no missing parts” Glad i snapped a pic, of the sign, because the store manager made sure i got a POWER CORD!! Thank you! And Bosch sent me a cutlery basket for free, I purchased a door-to-cabinet rubber strip and a bracket that screwed to the counter to keep the dishwasher in place. So YES there were missing parts. All in All. I’m happy with my purchase!

It took a few weeks to decide how i was going to load this machine after 10y of my old machine but that was minor considering it has so much more room. This is hands down the best dishwasher i have ever purchased. Its powerful and all the features it comes with is incredible. I cant even here it on. I had to open it to check if it was working since it was so quiet compared to my last machine and it has the same db level. Its just quiet. The cleaning power is unmatched and the fact that it notifies me on my smart phone that its done is cool. I know now when i can get up and empty it. It works with alexa and i can check the atarus if i dint want to look at my phone. I told my neighbor and family. They are so jealous. Im thinking about buying another one for my dowstairs room and replace my whirlpool. It is expensive but i think its worth it.

We bought this dishwasher to replace our KitchenAid Dishwasher that failed and was leaking and was too costly to repair. The team at Best Buy was great and walked us through the options and the +/-s of each of the brands. We landed and the Bosch and it has worked great. We do not have to rinse the dishes like our old dishwasher and all the dishes come out clean. The air dry at the end of the cycle is an added bonus and the dishes are perfectly dry when the cycle is finished. We also like the connectivity to our phones as well! The noise level on this model is also great and we can barely hear the machine while it's running and the third rack has proved to be extremely useful for cleaning utensils and flatware getting them clean every time!

We had a Bosch in our prior home and loved it and we did our research on the new 500 model. Very high rating with CR. Looks great, fits really well, very quiet and seems to be cleaning very well. Price was competitive and delivery was a lot cheaper than a locally owned appliance retailer 1/4 mile from our home. I wanted to buy locally but I can't justify $120 more for just delivery. Easy to schedule delivery and delivery was on time. We did the removal of the old GE dishwasher that was in this home before we moved in. We also did the install. The first time we have attempted a dishwasher install. After watching numerous Bosch 500 install videos on YouTube we felt confident. The installation instructions have QR code links to detailed videos for each of the steps. Pretty cool. We took our time and had to increase the hole size to fit the plug through to the outlet. Our installation was a plug-in and the dishwasher came with the proper plug and interface for the connection to the dishwasher. Best Buy also included free of charge the interface and power box for a hardwired connection. Getting the dishwasher to the right height and level took some time. Don't bother attempting to use a screw driver to turn the feet, it's too much trouble. Tilt the unit back a little, lower the feet enough to expose the nut and use a 3/4" wrench to adjust. We have granite countertops so we used the brackets on the side to secure the unit to the cabinets. The brackets for the kick plate took some time and effort to fit into the slot. I did set up the wireless Home Connect app but I'm not sure I would ever use it. Very happy with the product and the entire process.

Spent hours researching dishwashers. YouTube videos, online reviews, Consumer Reports, etc. Decided on this one for a few reasons: brand reliability, no heating element, third rack, and general options available (such as sanitation and NSF rating). It cleans well and dries well - if and only if you use the auto dry feature and leave it opened for a couple/few hours. Mugs and the like with indentions still puddle with water, but it's no different than a standard dishwasher (with heating element). Third rack is nice, but I think KitchenAid's seems better; with this one there's not much room for anything bigger than a than a serving spoon or Yeti lids. But I can put all my utensils there and not use the basket and thus free up space in the bottom rack, so that's a win. Nearly every review notes how quiet it is. Sure, it's quiet, but you know it's running - even from a room away. The red light that projects on the floor to let you know it's running is super cool, though. The biggest con/drawback is the wifi nature of this machine. You can't set the timer on the machine itself - only via the janky app. (Why does everything have to be wifi enabled!!??) The touch "buttons" are very finiky, and I wish it had physical buttons, but that's the way of things it seems. Overall, I'm pleased, but if I had it to do over again, I would have sought out the still available, but harder to find, non wifi version. Or maybe even the KitchenAid. Time will tell if it holds up, but so far so good.

This new dishwasher replaced a 15 year old Bosch 300 series. It washes dishes very well and has a lot of area to fill. One thing I think is worth noting, the spacing of the tines on the two dish drawers takes some getting used to. The tine spacing on the top drawer seems a bit narrow for large mugs and travel cups. The bottom drawer has an odd space with no tines in the bottom right corner and it’s not big enough for pots and pans. It might have been more useful to add tines that you could manually lay down - like in the older model. Overall, a very good dishwasher but may take some time to figure out how to effectively fill it with dishes.

We had ours installed from bestbuys installation and we love it. We've owned it for 3 months now and it's been the best dishwasher and the most quiet one.

Absolutely love it.. it's quiet. I can't even hear it running and it does a great job cleaning.

Very nice dishwasher, no major issues yet. Best Buy was definitely the best price on sale with free delivery and installation. The delivery/ install persons did a great job and didn't take long. The dishwasher has all the features we want or need. I didn't install the App, don't need it. Maybe I'll try that option later.

I was amazed how quiet this dishwasher is while running. The control panel is easy to use and the dishes are very clean. The racks are strong and sturdy and have an extra coating to protect them from my hard water. The only thing I noticed was that it didn’t hold as many dishes and silverware as my last dishwasher. However, this dishwasher cleans better than any dishwasher I’ve ever had. I’m so happy to have such a reliable and quiet dishwasher.

Loving the quietness of this dishwasher. Our old one sounded like you were sitting in a car wash. Clean dishes and no spots. I personalized mine with a decorative magnet. I'll never buy another brand.

This is my second Bosch dishwasher (the first is still working 15 years later in the house where it is installed). This unit is super quiet, with so much more functionality than the older model I had. I was a little skeptical about the Home Connect app, but it turns out that it is really nice to start/stop/monitor the operation from my phone. The Air Dry function is great, and I love the red light projected onto my floor while it’s running. There is a learning curve to proper loading—but that is the case with any new dishwasher. I have no doubt this dishwasher will outlast all the other appliances in my house. Worth every penny.

We have gone through three dishwashers in fifteen years. Our four dishwasher we decided to purchase a Bosch. After researching the 300, 500 and eight hundred series we decided on the 500 series SHP65CM6N. The first unit was returned, the back edge was bent and did not hold the insulation in place. Also, the third shelf (top shelf) was damaged, the drawer slide was broken. This unit was not installed. The second unit arrived with no damages and was installed the same day. After a week of dish washing, this Bosch was not cleaning the casserole bowls. The ring left in the bowl from the casserole was not washed away. One plate in another wash cycle had reminisce of rice dried on it. After that wash the rice was all over the other dishes, the door panel and at the bottom of the dishwasher. At this point we would like to return the Bosch dishwasher. Best Buy will not take the unit back until service techs stop out and try to resolve the issues we are experiencing.

I'm very pleased with my new Bosch dishwasher. It's quieter than my previous dishwasher that was at the time a quiet machine. Installation by the delivery crew was a breeze. Purchased the same unit from another retailer and they and their delivery crew were a disaster. Ended up cancelling the order because they were so inept. Have had a great experience w/Best Buy this time and with a previous new stove purchase. The only "problem" is that some of my plastic containers are too light and tend to get bounced around if not held down by a heavier object. I'm getting rid of most of those anyway, so no issues!

This Bosch 500 series dishwasher in fabulous! It's very quiet and leaves the dishes spotless. It hold as much as any other two dishwashers! It holds an incredible amount and each dish, bowl and utensil has space around it for excellent cleaning. Sam, the Best Buy Installer from Wheaton, MD was great!

We replaced our 12 yr-old GE with the Bosch dishwasher. We hesitated thinking its high-tech would be a too much a challenge to a 60+ couple. Happily we were wrong. The Best Buy installer did a great overview and from the very first wash, we both said: why did we wait so long?! It's super quiet, so the red light on the floor is helpful, esp. to know when it's done. Opening it for complete drying was strange at first but our dishes, stemware, pots, etc. are very clean & dry. We've had this for a month and have done 1-3 washes a week. Very pleased each time! The Bosch stainless steel matches very well our Haier counter-depth new frig. Hope this lasts for many years!
