I just installed this unit and so my review for it is excellent. It does what it is supposed to do, well, and very quietly. I replaced another Bosch with this unit, and that lasted only 13 years, so I hope this one makes it a bit longer. There are good selections for cleaning and load size, a time delayed start, and a 'sanitation' mode. Install was straightforward and it is an attractive unit. My only criticisms are about the silverware tray (along the size) - would be better closer to front, and the dish holder slots are a bit small for my dishes.

This is by far the best dishwasher we have ever had. It is easy to load and configure. Our dishes, pots, pans and silverware come out clean and the noise level is minimum. The noise level on the old dishwasher was so great we could not carry on a conversation and had to turn up the TV or music to hear them. It holds a lot of dishes, too.

Bought this unit for its anti-leak feature as well as its quality. I guess I won't know how well it performs for quite awhile, but after four weeks no issues have surfaced.

We bought this model because it was quieter than almost anything we'd seen and we have hardwood floors everywhere. Quiet matters a lot to us. But after living with it for a few months, we find the racks are difficult to load well, maximizing space. Our old dishwasher had the silverware basket on the door which was easy to access and seemed to leave more room in the machine for dishes. Finally, no matter what setting we choose, we can't seem to get the dishes to dry all the way. There are only a few choices, so I'm sure we've tried all of them.

Easy to install and easy to use. I love it!!! I would definitely buy it all over again!!!! I love not having to wash dishes. I should have bought this a long time ago!!!

Ripped out a 5 year old Miele to put this in. I miss the Miele's ease of loading, but I'm sure that once I get used to it the Bosch will be just great.

Easy to clean water trap - gets the dishes clean (even though we still rinse them in the sink first) - saves power and water compared to GE Profile that broke down on us (they did give me money back though). - Super quiet operation - does leave some slight water on the tops of cups if in super efficient mode. Overall I definatley would purchase this one again since I don't know much about the others and I have had 1 solid year of good luck with it so far.

I had read the reviews about the Bosch Evolution Series dishwashers and the concerns about the dishes not drying. I read the manual and made sure I added rinse aid and used the Extra Dry Heat setting (which is now our default). The dishes came out spotless and dry! We were going to purchase the 500 series but paid a little extra for a higher reduction in sound; it is so quiet! I believe the racks are sturdier and offer more flexibility with this series. Best to do a comparison between the different models to see what works best for you. We couldn't be happier with this purchase; the high ratings for Bosch are justified.

I bought an LG dishwasher almost 5 years ago and spent a pretty penny on it. The dishwasher worked well until phosphates were taken out of detergents, and was quiet. Unfortunately, towards the end, it broke down several times and under the no-lemon warranty I was able to return the washer for full credit. The top of the line Bosch that I purchased was still less than what I spent on the LG, it cleans better, and does not take as much time. Both products were very quiet. Over time the LG had marred our glasses which was blamed by our repairman on the lack of phosphates in the detergent. The Bosch was able to clean our glasses that had become marred by the LG and they look almost new, using the same detergent that we were using with the LG. If you have the money, I would recommend this dishwasher. I have no opinion regarding the lower priced models, but it appears that Bosch does make a good dishwasher. Only time will tell if my opinion will change.

I bought this to replace the Bosch that cam with my house when I bought it five years ago. I assume it was probably five years old then, so when it started cleaning in a sub-standard fashion I decided to stay with Bosch despite the mixed reviews I'd seen. I bear in mind that MOST reviews are written by unhappy customers, and take certain things (like not drying plastic) for what they are worth. Best Buy had the best price by several hundred dollars on this model, and I had been shopping for a month. The 20 buck installation was also an incentive. They were great as a retailer. The machine so far is working flawlessly both with powder and tabs (Finish brand in both cases.) Auto mode has not yet failed to get everything clean. Dishes are also dry when the cycle is done. The racks seem very efficient and flexible, but for some reason, my family eats lots of stuff out of bowls?? Bowls are hard to stack efficiently, so I guess we waste a lot of space, but everything gets clean, and this is so energy efficient, I don't mind doing more frequent smaller loads. It is whisper quiet , for which, Bosch are famous. This is even quiet by Bosch standards. The salesman was very frank about not expecting another 10 years for this or any other dishwasher in the 21st century. I did get a three year Geek Squad service. I normally don't buy extended warrantys but for a thousand dollar machine and Bosch's poor reputation for service, I though this a reasonable gamble. So far, so good, but it has been less than a month ....

This is a GREAT dishwasher! It's whisper-quiet, washes dishes and glasses to a sparkling clean, and dries very well...even without an exposed heating element! It is also recommended in Consumer's Report; I did extensive research before I bought. It has met my high expectations. 100% satisfied!

Did alot of research on dishwashers..I wanted short washing cycle and had to be quiet...This has both.

THIS DISHWASHER IS NICE. THE ONLY BAD THING I CAN FIND AFTER HAVING A MONTH IS THE RACK. WHILE THE TOP ADJUSTABLE RACK IS GREAT THE LAYOUT OF THE SET PRONGS ON THE RACKS MAKE IT HARD TO LOAD. MY WIFE REFUSES TO LOAD IT. IT SAY 14 PLACE SETTINGS WHICH IT WOULD IF YOU WERE ONLY DOING PLATES. TRY TO PUT DEEP BOWLS AND POT AND PANS AND DO DISHES AT THE SAME TIME.

Overall we are very happy with the purchase. different cycles for different needs. like the ability to do a half load.
