    +Bass +Noise Cancellation +Soundsport compatible

Compared to my 3 year old wired soundsport with one ear working (which still sounds pretty good imo) the bass on the QC20s is much higher. There’s not too much sound leakage so I can listen louder without worrying about people hearing my earbuds leak. The noise cancellation is great even when I’m using my old soundsport wingtips (which are compatible with these) that don’t directly clog up your ear canal like everything else. It’s definitely an upgrade or my old ones just deteriorated, because on the QC20s I can hear parts of the music that I can’t hear on my soundsports. The cord on the QC20 is a bit thicker than the Soundsports except for the small cord that connects the power source to the aux. That part kinda scares me so I’ll treat it with care. Probably not my preference to have the little brick thing lugging around but it’s what makes these earbuds sound like headphones. You can opt to use the earbuds with the brick thing turned off but it’ll just sound like cheap earbuds. Overall though, great upgrade and probably the best currently made wired earbuds for me, especially since I can use my old wingtips on them.

This head phones have a good sound quality, but it is much better at noise cancelling Although I would make some changes and make it more rugged and the connections at the components somehow stronger because they are the weak points to this headphones. And they create sound failures and breakage and ripping points.

I also have the QC15 which I've owned for a couple of years. They are great however on my last plane ride, which was a red eye, they were so bulky and uncomfortable to try and sleep in so I looked at getting something more lightweight but still offered the same high level of noise cancelling. These fit the bill perfectly. Super lightweight and comfortable. The only thing I don't really care for is the big dongle hanging from the cord which controls the noise cancelling but I can deal with it. Are they expensive? Yes, but they're worth it to me, especially on long trips. I also like that they don't take up so much room in my luggage like the QC 15 with it's large case. Overall very happy with the purchase.

The Bose QuietComfort headphones are aptly named. The noise canceling works great and the ear buds fit comfortably in the ear. I like that there are two settings for noise control, the complete noise canceling and the aware noise canceling. Another plus is if the noise canceling battery runs out, you can continue to use it as a normal headphone. I also like the white with electric blue accent color option because it's something different than standard black or basic white. As someone who travels a lot, these headphones will come in handy on airplanes. They come with a compact travel case, which will fit easily in a briefcase, backpack, purse, or other travel bag. The battery is supposed to last about 16 hours, which is nice for long flights. It also has an attached mic with volume control and skip buttons for music and answer/end call for talking on the phone. The one I bought is for Apple iOS devices. Pay attention to the package to make sure you are getting the right one. Some are for Android devices. The one drawback is the battery is kind of big and long, but thin. So, for example, if you have the headphones connected to your phone/music player and are not sitting then both would be in your pocket because it would look strange otherwise.

I bought these on January 9, 2018. Extremely careful use. Last month the plastic cover start to come off as you can see in the pictures. I can't believe this from Böse. I'll try to return them as a defective item.

Great headphones but not for me

I bought these to upgrade from an old pair of sony noise cancelling earbuds I used daily (and never had any issues with) hoping maybe to get better sound quality and with good noise cancellation. The overall sound quality of these are amazing, the bass is good for earbuds, the noise cancellation works great, and the headphones are very comfortable to wear. The issue I had with mine is when I turn the noise cancelling, I feel a pressure in my ears (like when you need to pop your ears) and after about 20 minutes the pressure starts giving me a headache. If I turn the noise cancelling off and use them as regular headphones, the pressure goes away immediately. I tried all the different size tips thinking maybe I was using too big of tips but still with the same result. I really want to like these but after 2 days of trying multiple different times, they keep giving me a headache. The only other thing bad I noticed is that the battery pack is located about 2 inches from the jack and I feel this will cause the wire between the jack and the battery pack to wear out fast, they should've put the battery pack at least a foot a way from the jack. If these headphones didn't give me a headache I would've kept them, the noise cancelling works great, the sound quality is great, and they're very comfortable but unfortunately these aren't for me. I'd recommend trying them out before you buy them.

I have an old pair of QC-15s that I regularly travel with. The problem I had with those was they were too big in my bag, and if you fell asleep or moved your head close to something it would squeal. None of that holds true with the Bose QC 20s. They drown out external noise while giving you clear sound and excellent audio quality. They are not ‘sound proof’ rather they take out all the background noise and give you a nice quiet space anywhere you go. Battery life is good, I haven’t tested to the end of the battery however, I was on an 9 hour flight from Europe and another 2 in the states in one day with plenty of juice left over. Yes, I slept plenty with them on and no issues there either.

I fly a lot for a living and decided to pick up these headphone last year. I the native noise cancelation does an excellent job, especially on airplanes. The soft gel ear pieces are softer than previous bose in ear gel tips I used making them really comfortable. The only thing I do not like is battery is so close to the headphone jack it makes it awkward to stick in your pocket. At least the battery is flat so its manageble and also last about 8 hours until charge. Overall, Im extremely happy with these headphones. I think it offers the same quality AnR as over the ear headphones.

I recently decided to start my midyear New Year's resolution, so to save a few dollars I bought a set a (dead)Beats headphones so I could listen to music while I worked out... WRONG MOVE!! I should've stayed with the brand that has never disappointed me...BOSE! Again, I have been impressed with the quality of the workmanship of a Bose product. The earpieces fit like a glove and are so comfortable almost forget I have them on. The noise cancellation feature is phenomenal! I have purchased Bose Bluetooth earpieces in the past & was equally as impressed with them as I am with the quality and sound of these headphones. I got to learn to trust my judgment a little better.

Got these for my mom as a present. She takes the train every day and was getting annoyed with all the external noise. Not only do they do a great job at blocking out ambient noise but they cut immediate noise substantially. Great sound out of them as well whether or not the noise cancelling is on. The fact that they are rechargeable and do not need batteries is absolutely awesome. Also, they are super comfortable, dont dig into your ear, and stay in for the most part. I work out and run with them sometimes and so does she, no complaints thus far, had em for about 3 months or so.

These earbuds have changed my inflight experiences. They're lightweight, fit in my purse and the charge lasts for several hours. I've had back to back flights of over 24 hrs and they haven't lost a charge. The noise cancelling feature really isolates the sounds allowing me to focus on the movies and/or music .It also locks out the droll of the engines creating a haven for me to sleep when I'm ready to. I can no longer enjoy air travel without these. Seriously.

I debated heavily between the ear bud version and the over the head version. Ultimately, I chose these because I didn't want my hair to go flat each time I used the over the head headphones. I absolutely love these ear buds. So comfortable! They feel like they are just floating in your ear. I've had problems with other ear buds not staying in my ears and causing discomfort. The design technology on these is amazing. I wore them during a 5 hour flight and not only were they extremely comfortable (it didnt even feel like I was wearing any earbuds), but the noise cancelling was superb. I was worried the noise cancelling would be not as good as the over the head headphones. But it is excellent. In the reviews I read prior to purchase, one of the "negatives" was that it had the battery pack thing that was at the end of the cord. But it really isnt a bother to me because I just keep that slid on the backside of my iPod touch or iPhone and it doesnt bother me at all. Love this product and would recommend to anyone trying to decide between the over the head or the ear buds.

I own other Bose earbuds and have always been impressed with both the sound and quality of their products. It was natural to look towards the Bose, but I did not blindly purchase just on the name, I read countless reviews on Noise Cancelling earbuds, and there were cheaper ones for sure, but there is no question these are the best all-around value. They work well for when I travel. Compact easy to stash, with a good battery life.

I always use these when I fly. Comfortable to wear and they do a great job of canceling out constant noises. The sound quality is good for noise cancelation phones and the small size is easy to take anywhere. I think you are paying a little extra for the Bose name, but if you are looking for in the ear headphones to take away some of the engine noise these are the ones to buy.

Bought these for their noise-canceling, to help with the Train sounds from riding daily on the BART. What an incredible difference! These are going to save my hearing from the high-pitch screeching the train makes as well as noisy fellow riders. The ear buds are comfortable and the unit is lightweight.

I’m an international frequent flyer and I’ve owned Bose QuietComfort (15, 2 & 1) over-ear headphones of the past 12 years. Couldn’t travel without them, until I started developing a bald spot under the headband! Was skeptical if the in-ear QuietComfort 20 would be just as effective and comfortable over long flights (~16 hrs.). Where have you been all my life! Same performance as the over-ear solution and the Silicone earbuds are so much more comfortable (no more messy hair or sweaty ears)! And the carrying solution is also a fraction of the size, so it stays in my laptop bag all the time! Only negative is that you must charge them instead of having a removable battery, but not a deal breaker since this is a common behavior for so many gadgets these days. Worth it!

Blocks out 90% of snoring sound!

I bought these because I love sleeping next to my dear husband, but the lack of deep sleep from his snoring is affecting my health, and I think my hearing as well. Fully charged, the noise canceling function lasts through an 8 hour night of sleep. With noise canceling feature turned on it sounds like a light rain against a window pane. It is comfortable when I sleep on my side. It blocks out the sound of the furnace air-uptake vent next to my side of the bed by 100% and my husband's snoring by 90%. I can still hear him snore, but it sounds like it is far away and very light. I used them at the office for webinars and they totally blocked the sound of the mini fridge 5 feet from my chair. I didn't realize the mini fridge made a noise until I took off the head phones and heard a loud motor running! These are well worth it. You will have to read someone else's review for music quality because I use a an iPhone and it requires an adapter for the head phone plug.

i researched noise canceling earphones for quite a while. i wanted something was extremely comfortable, masked office or plane noise, and of course had good sound. after looking at many review sites and ratings, i settled on the in-ear bose. i was originally after the over the ear style but after reading more i realized these cancel the noise slightly better and are far more packable. a charge lasts surprisingly long, they charge pretty quickly, are extremely comfortable, and they sound very good. there are earphones that sound better out there, but i don't think there's a better combination of sound, noise isolation, and portability than the qc20's!
