Flawed but Fantastic Sound

I am searching for the perfect all-purpose earbuds but I don't think they exist. I have bought and used 15+ different TWS earbuds from many brands. Bose has a fantastic pair of earbuds here for many occasions. If you just want to zone out on your music or a movie you won't find a better pair of earbuds. If you are looking for versatility and seamlessness you may want to keep looking.
Sound:
As I mentioned, there may not be a better set of buds. This is the richest sound I have found in an earbud. It beats out any I have tried and that list includes Airpods Pro, Airpods, Galaxy Buds Pro, Galaxy Buds +, Galaxy Buds, Reduxbuds, MPOW, Betone, JLab and more. These Bose QC have great bass and clear highs. It is easy to get absorbed into my music!
Connection:
So they paired easily to my phones, I use a Galaxy S21 Ultra for my personal phone and an iPhone 8 for work. The Bose Music app installed on both phones and made good connection to the buds. Switching between devices however, is a bit cumbersome. You can't just go to the bluetooth settings on the device and tap to connect. You first need to disconnect from the device you last had connected then move forward with your connection to your desired device. This is annoying for me because I switch back and forth frequently. Most other earbuds I've used you can just tap on it in bluetooth settings and it will automatically disconnect from one and connect to the other.
Convenience:
These are not the most convenient form factor out there. The case is huge. It is easily 2-3 times the size of Airpods or Galaxy Buds. It really isn't pocketable.
Another deal-breaker for me is that you cannot use either earbud independently. If you want to use only one bud you have to use the right bud. You can leave the case open (and stay within range of it) and use only the left earbud but there are no mics in the left earbud!? I like to switch back and forth between ears (for phone calls at work) due to ear fatigue but you can't with these.
Another issue with convenience is one I have only noticed with my iPhone, which means it might be an iOS issue, but when I have a call coming in I have to tap on the "speaker" button and choose Bose in order to talk through the earbuds. If my phone is in my pocket it really defeats the main purpose of hands-free technology.
Comfort:
They are pretty comfortable to wear. The silicone is soft and comfortable. I like the ear hooks for stability in the ear.
ANC/Transparency Mode:
The ANC on the Bose QC is off the charts good. Everything gets very quiet with no hum. It is, by far, the best ANC I have found in an earbud.
Transparency mode is very good. Airpods Pro does transparency mode a bit better, it just feels a little more natural with the Airpods Pro. The Bose QC does a better job of making the ambient noise sound more natural than any of the Galaxy Buds, including the new Buds Pro.
Price:
The price of these $279 is really what is going to return these. I can't justify nearly $300 for these and a good set that meets my needs for phone calls and device switching. I'd love to keep them for travel or just listening to music. The ANC is likely spectacular for an airplane. I just need the versatility.

These in-ear headphones are super comfortable and the charge lasts forever! The best feature is being able to switch from fully noise cancelling to being able to be more aware if I need to listen out for anything. The fit is pretty good and I love that I can throw them on a mag charger and save a cable from being used. They do work well while exercising! I haven’t had one fall out yet! And I appreciate how compact the case is and how pretty and neutral this color is!

I wanted to take a moment to share my positive experience with the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds.
From the moment I first tried them on, I was impressed by the comfort and fit. The earbuds stayed securely in place, even during my most intense workouts. The sound quality is truly exceptional, with rich bass and crystal-clear highs. I also appreciate the noise cancellation feature, which allows me to fully immerse myself in my favorite music or podcasts.
In addition to the impressive performance, the earbuds are also incredibly user-friendly. The touch controls make it easy to adjust the volume, skip tracks, and answer calls without having to reach for my phone. The battery life is impressive as well, providing hours of uninterrupted listening pleasure.
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds. They have exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort, sound quality, and functionality. I would highly recommend them to anyone in search of a premium wireless earbud experience.

I love these ear buds!! They mute out sound so well!! They fit in my ear perfectly. I can’t believe how amazing they are. I use them for watching videos while my husband sleeps and to drown out noise and when they are in I literally can’t hear him if he says something. One down side is if you lay on your side with them in they are very uncomfortable. I would have loved to have gotten ones for sleeping which is what I was originally looking for. I’m still not disappointed but still keeping a look out. If your looking for something that fits perfectly in your ear and doesn’t feel like it will fall out if you get up and move around. These are them! If your looking to drown out your matés snoring these are them! Just awesome buds and they hold a charge for a long time.

I am not going to cut corner with this one. I own the AirPods Pro, sennheiser momentum 2, JABRA Elite 75T, Samsung galaxy buds+, jaybird vista. So believe me i know my way around wireless earbuds. These. Bose goes neck to neck in noise canceling with the sennheiser, i will go as far as saying even a little better in some situations. The only problem is their size, a little too big compare to all the ones i listed above. The fit is perfect, no stress on your ears,i was able to wear them for a full battery cycle which tap out at about 5Hrs & 20min with noise canceling on. Case is too big to carry in your pocket. Now the sound: sound is subjective but for my taste they’re alright with good highs and mids but they could use more bass and they don’t get as loud as the sennheiser ( which are my num 1) and or the Jabra’s. Overall they are a pretty good pair of earbuds for casual or sport use. It would’ve been perfect if they were priced lower at around $250. If you are a Bose lover you will find that historical balanced sound carried on these folks. The lack of EQ and buttons customization is another set back compare to the sennheiser. I will still recommend them as they’re built well.

I’ve been a loyal user of Bose earphones for many years, starting with the SoundSport in orange. They were incredible—comfortable, secure, and never slipped out of my ears, even during intense activities. After years of dependable use, the batteries naturally started to lose their charge, so I decided it was time to upgrade.
These new earbuds offer exceptional sound quality and noise cancellation—truly top-notch. However, I do have a major issue with the rubber pieces designed to secure the earbuds in your ears. They frequently slip off, especially during workouts, and it’s incredibly frustrating to have to constantly readjust them. To make matters worse, if you lose the size that fits your ears, replacing them is expensive.
While the sound quality is fantastic, the functionality falls short, particularly for gym use. If Bose can address the fit and durability of the ear tips, these would be perfect.

Bose quite comfort didn’t meet my expectations , earbuds lack innovation and technology they are over rated and not worth the price, they sound muffled during calls and sometimes earbuds will disconnect. Noise cancellation is very good but worthless if you will sound muffled during calls. They are very good for daily activities gym, running, work, etc. and won’t fall out. Design is very nice and they will give you good complements. Overall Bose earbuds are very over rated and I would not recommend unless new features and technology is add in the future! Other earbuds are just cheaper and better!

I rarely do reviews, maybe 4 or 5 in my life. I own the Beats studio 2.0, the Bose Q25 and Q35 because I like over ear to drown out the noise. These earbuds are pretty amazing. You can store 3 diff NC settings and double tap the left bud to toggle between your three settings. You can double tap the right bud to pause the audio or video. They have 3 different ear size adapters and are very comfortable.
The smart design case is a battery. Every time you put the buds away, they charge, so it’s eeems like the never die. The case can be put on my anker charging pad and it charges the case and the buds. I could not be happier and I am a real review.

These are great the noise canceling obviously isnt going to be 100% because they are ear buds but they really do cancel out 80%-100% of it depending on how loud it is around you (at least for me) and they are very comfortable (for me) i always have issues with in ear bud headphones not fitting my ears very well even on the smallest sizes but these are very comfortable and fit snug they dont feel loose or too big and i can wear them for hours before i need to take them out (all ear buds make my ears itch at some point) im so glad i dont need to return these because i have always wanted some Bose

These are an excellent pair of earbuds, being my first Bose product I purchased. These ear buds come with three different fittings for your ears so keep them all in a safe place, and they are easy to remove and attach. They go in your ear so easy just rotate them upward and they are good. This comes with a charging case with leds lights, showing you the status of the case battery life. It does not have a charging cube, it has a USB-C charging cable, and it has USB-C charging port. When you open the case and the buds are in, just hold down the bluetooth that is in between the two for a couple of seconds and it will connect. So when you put them up to your ears the Bose buds can detect it's in your ear and make a sound, then say battery 100 percent, connect to device then put the other bud in and it will connect with the other one. Once connected, play your music and when you take out on eof them, the music stops, put it back in and it plays again.
Tapping methods: double tap the left earbud and noise cancellation will be turned off, you will hear noise at a medium level.
Double tape again and outside noise will be heard to the max.
Double tape again and noise cancellation will be active again. All of this is done on the left earbud
Answering a call: If you want to answer a call, double tap the right ear bud and if you want to disconnect the call double tap the right ear bud, and it will say, "call disconnected".
When done with the buds, put them in the case amd they will turnoff in the case after a period of time, I believe is 20 mins or less of standby time.
Note; push the tabe button above the led lights on the case to open.

Man these babies are the real deal!!! I have owned several pairs of bluetooth earbuds over the years since they were first introduced to the world. But I never owned ANC earbuds. I gave it a go & coughed up 200$ + dollars on these babies took them home downloaded Bose music app set them up customized them to my liking & was off to my zone out world. When noise cancellation activated I thought something was wrong was confused looking around room because I couldn't hear my big fan that was running or my television volume. I was truly blown away!!! On ride home on bus & train without noise cancellation activated still could barely hear noise , actually I missed a train due to not hearing or observing. Sound quality was dynamic without even using EQ bass was thumping!! Clear crisp beautiful sound. I wore them out of best buy store after pairing them and earbuds had 70% power enough to get me to grocery store & back home & still had power before I fully charged them. Best earbuds i've ever purchased!!! Hurry up buy before price is increased worth the hundreds of dollars$ I am satisfied!!

These have got to be the best noise cancellation headphones I’ve ever had. I bought these in comparison to the AirPods Pro which I got for the same price at different times of the year ($199 Sale Price). The AirPods Pro are $249 msrp & Bose Qc are $279 msrp so about the same prices.
The differences I’ve noticed right from the start, Bose - They have sooooooo much better noise cancellation technology than the AirPods Pro.
Bose - The fit in the ears is so much more comfortable & secure than the AirPods Pro (You have to choose the right size for for each earbud).
Bose - Sound quality is not even close. Bose all the way. The AirPods Pro are ok, but when spending $250, “Ok” is not acceptable. The Bose for another $30 are way better.
The only thing I’ll give Apple is the AirPods Pro case size. The size in comparison to the Bose is definitely noticeable but hey if a little bit bigger of a case means a better listening experience & more then personally I’ll deal with it, plus I mean look at that blue color!!!!
Overall: If shopping for headphones, go for Bose. You will not be disappointed.

Great earbuds! I've been tried several truly wireless earbuds with ANC, this certainly, as expected from Bose, is the top tier, if not the best.
Since an introduction of Airpod Pro from Apple and WF-1000XM3 from Sony, many tried come up with their own products. Unfortunately, not many offered anything comparable to these two when it comes to ANC. Sennheiser's Momentum TWS 2 came so close, yet, ANC was not as good as that from Apple and Sony.
It was certainly disappointing that Bose pushed its release of the earbuds for almost a year as it was supposed to be released alongside with NC 700 headset in mid-2019. But finally it's here, and it was worth waiting. It has the best ANC in the segment, great connection, and good battery life.
Sound profile is a good mix as well. Bass is not too strong, so it doesn't mumble other sound or make your brain shaking, yet strong enough to feel the groove from bass drum. Mid and treble are well-balanced.
Of course, it also has its downside. Charging case is certainly too big, and some people find the style of ear tip not the best (not for me, though. Bose's design has been the best fit for me hands down). But overall, it's well balanced and worth its price tag. (Though MSRP of $ 249 would have been better)

I travel a lot so I was looking for an earbud that provided great sound while being comfortable for long wear times. Bose has knocked it out of the park with these beauties. Expertly engineered to provide great music and call sound. My only negative would be that while making calls, I would like the earbuds to provide more hear-through to make for a more natural experience while making calls. The good news is, the receivers of my calls from these earbuds all comment on how clear I sound.
The ear buds come with the standard Bose silicone ear stays.
They provide enough friction to stay on your ears even while walking for moving around. The battery case is nicely designed and provides the perfect portal for recharging. Definitely worth the price.

Wonderful low-end. Volume now adjustable on right earbud. Just wish they would Bluetooth to my Sony smart TV. Is Bluetooth capable, but only for the TV’s built in microphone for google OS. I will have to find a compatible WiFi dongle for BOSE to my Sony TV. Otherwise: No complaints at all. Comfortable, great sound, small. For the other review I saw: the buds’ “home pocket case” is really perfect; since it does store energy and charge the buds w/o needing to be on a charging plate(as long as the case shows 4 LEDS already) Case is a necessary size for its battery, charging coil, connection manager(Bluetooth) and perfectly fitting “home” for the buds. The buds magnetically “stay” in their sockets until needed. Tiny leds show Bluetooth connection status and bud OK signal(s). Unless you’ve been to, too many public loud sound systems lately, sound is wonderful!

This was the second pair in less than a year. First pair one of the buds wouldn't charge or connect to phone within 4 months. Second pair one of the buds went quiet (less than a whisper). Tried all the suggestions from Bose but in the end nothing worked. As for when they did work it was a comfortable fit (worn for hours a day) and nice sound ( I work in a power plant and it's loud everywhere).

seems to only last 2 years before sound stopped in one ear. I went through all the trouble shooting and resetting steps, nothing worked. Had to bring back to best buy for repair, and hope I don't have to buy yet another set of earbuds.

Prior to trying the Bose QC earbuds I purchased the Samsung buds pro. The buds were good but the Bose QC earbuds are far superior in the ways that matter to me. I'm a professional live sound engineer and have been into audio reproduction products for over 30 years. I say these sound great. The reproduction of the frequecies the human ear can hear is recreated very well by the little earbuds. Some pro audio engineers dont like Bose products because they say Bose cheats on how they make things sound good. I say those people can get over it. After compairing numerous headphones and earbuds, its very simple, these sound good and work well. No headphone device is perfect at stopping ambient sound but these do a great job at minimizing the outside sound. My favorite feature is Activesense. While in aware mode (can hear around you) this feature automatically adjusts the volume level of the sound around you if the ambient noise gets loud. I use this while working so I can hear around me for safety but if I turn on a loud tool then it starts to bring the volume down. Quickly after turning off the tool the ambient volume comes back up allowing me to continue hearing around me. The sound of the ambient sound coming through is also very realistic. Others I've tried sound different than the original, they sounded overly nasle or muffled.
The only two negatives I have about these is the size and weight. Would be nice to see them make these in a smaller design with less weight. The other negative is the lack of playback controls. Play/pause is available all the time but thats it. You have one programmable option for skip, back ect. The other brands I tried had all available all the time.
Note, if you get these be sure to use the recommended Bose app and update the firmware if yours need it. The latest firmware adds features they didn't originally come with. Not huge changes but more refined ways of operating some of the features.
Now for my only big problem I've had with my experience. It has nothing to do with Bose or the performance of the QC earbuds. I purchased these and immediately went on a trip out of the country. 3 days after the Best Buy return/exchange policy ended i had a problem with the right earbud. It developed a sound quality issue. Best Buy would do nothing for me. I know it was out of policy for them to honor an exchange but it would be nice for Best Buy to provide that extra mile customer service. Unfortunately good service is almost non existent everywhere and Best Buy is no exception. This isn't the only problem I had with my earbud purchase in regards to best buy. When purchasing my original earbuds I didn't get what I wanted because the in store sales reps didnt know much about the available products. Better training for the sale staff is also needed. The sales personel should be knowledgable on the products they are responsible for selling. I had many questions about the available products but few were answered with useful information.
