Big Sound in small package!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow! Bose Soundlink Revolve+ packs a punch. I've found the reviews I like the most are layed out in Pro/Con style.. So here goes. PROS- Ofcourse the sound but more so the Quality of sound. Yes its loud but doesnt jeopardize clean and clear sound to do so. The design is flawless and the Lux grey is a nice change of pace for the standard black and matches my decor perfectly. Love the design and look of the speaker and how the speaker doesnt have 1 seam in it as its one solid piece (how did they do that?) and the handle is thick and feels solid. It is solidly built and designed. Used it outside during a cookout and received many compliments of how good it sounded like I had an outdoor surround sound setup, its that good sounding. I've owned many off brand wireless bluetooth speakers and this is the gold standard, the Cadillac of speakers. Great job Bose. I have yet to download the App so I cant speak on that but obviously you don't need it to operate the speaker. CONS- Wish they could somehow design it to where I could answer an incoming phone call with the speaker. For example if I have the speaker near me as I'm cleaning and I get a phone call, I am unable to answer the call through the speaker or have a conversation through the speaker. Instead I have to go grab my phone to answer it. Minor inconvenience but something I have been able to do with other off brand speakers. Its nit picking I know but thats my only gripe. Perhaps you can and I am just not doing it right?

Bose Revolve+ is a Versatile Bluetooth Powerhouse!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.INTRODUCTION: The Bose Revolve+ Bluetooth Speaker is a Versatile Bluetooth Powerhouse! It is the Revolve's larger, more powerful sibling that offers deep, perfectly balanced, amazing sound! SUGGESTION: Go for the optional Soundlink Revolve Charging Cradle. It is a charging stand with hidden wire management that eliminates the Revolve + external side-mounted USB cable. This allows for Bluetooth operation while charging. LIKES: 1- Best sounding & most versatile Bluetooth speaker I have encountered 2- Water resistant IPX4 aluminum housing permits use outdoors for picnics, tailgating & parties 3- Lithium-ion battery provides steady power up to 16 hours to keep the party rocking! Battery percentage is announced by voice when power is turned on 4- Bluetooth & 3.5mm audio aux cable input for versatility 5- Bose Connect app makes connecting to multiple bluetooth devices a breeze with connected device voice identification 6- Built-in flexible carry handle makes carrying & hanging the speaker super easy. The handle folds out of sight for a clean look when not needed 7- Rubberized body will not slip out of your hands, even when wet 8- Master Power button with LED indicator keeps the Bluetooth, volume & other settings untouched when turned on / off & prompts voice status of settings 9- NFC on top of unit offers easy pairing with optionally equipped phones. 10- Hands-free telephone calls are so clear, they sound like the caller is in the room with you! DISLIKES: 1- None CONCLUSION: The Resolve + represents the GOLD STANDARD for BEST SOUND QUALITY in a portable Bluetooth speaker today!

Great Sound and Loud if Desired
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second of this model and we love them for use anywhere in the home or yard and on trips, they function easily, have great sound for their size. It is heavy in weight, textured metal and the top is a rubber like with the buttons to connect Bluetooth, volume and power. Has a female voice telling you what and when you are connected to a specific device. Even has a spot on the bottom that would allow you to mount on a tripod. Comes with usb cord with c-type connection to device and adaptor for wall outlet. Pricey but name brands usually are. You can even hang these or just walk along with the tunes blasting. Having a pair of them is great too for more stereo sound or to use in separate rooms. Most Best Buys have all the various brands on display to try so like food, music/sound is a personal taste and choice so compare and select the brand/model that suits you.

Great Bluetooth Speaker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Bose Revolve+ (I’ll call it the Plus) is billed as Bose’s best Bluetooth speaker, and I agree. The 360 degrees of sound produced by the Plus is both clean and loud. The Plus easily fills my apartment with music. I have liked the Bose Corporation’s signature sound since l purchased both the Soundlink Mini and the Soundlink III speakers several years ago. The Plus sounds better than both in my opinion. The Plus produces a very clean bass, without rattles or boominess. As compared to my Echo Plus speaker (which is actually a fairly good sounding speaker, especially at low to middle volumes) which cost $150, the Bose Plus’ price tag of $300 does not seem as extravagant as it may appear. The Bose Revolve+ is well made and seems very solid and should last for years, so I do give it a solid five star rating.

Shocking sound. Quite literally.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.INTRO: The Bose SoundLink Revolve+ enters the market not only as Bose’s best bluetooth speaker ever, but also as the first true omnidirectional speaker of its product category. With beautifully powerful 360 degree sound, long lasting battery life, and a great looking design, the Bose SoundLink Revolve+ is an extremely well-rounded product that deserves the praise it has been getting. SOUND QUALITY: Every time I listen to the Revolve+, it impresses me. The bass is solid, punchy, and deep, so it vibrates whatever surface it is placed on. Midrange is incredibly natural; vocals and orchestras sound vivid and lifelike. Treble isn’t perfect, but given the limitations of the cylindrical speaker design, it is still quite detailed and crisp. The speaker sounds the best around 50-60% volume, where it has the most musical balance between bass, midrange, and upper frequencies. The Bose SoundLink Revolve+ is truly shocking loud. It can easily loudly fill small to medium sized rooms, and it is loud enough to almost fill an indoor basketball court with music, even with 30 or so people playing basketball. At maximum volume, the Revolve+ still performs impressively, but if you end up getting your hands one, I would suggest avoiding the last two notches of volume on your device, because they barely increase volume, and bass notes and treble become less defined. But that aside, the Revolve+ truly does sound incredible. I can’t even count how many people have complimented the speaker on how good it sounds. Here’s a fun story: When I was staying home over spring break, I placed the Revolve+ in the corner of our living room, where my family’s theater speaker system is set up. I played some music, then asked my father how the speakers sounded and he shrugged, "Sounds great like it always does… why do you ask?". When I revealed to him that the powerfully deep bass notes and crystal clear vocals came from the small speaker in the corner and not the theater system, he was genuinely blown away… and he was the one who set up the theater sound system! DESIGN: The Revolve+ is beautifully designed. It looks industrial and artful, and fits nicely in any setting. The aluminum body is rock solid (but is soft in texture like felt), and the buttons are nice, too. The soft-touch rubber bumpers provide drop protection, and the water resistance is also very reassuring. Over the past month, I carried the Revolve+ with me everywhere: to classes, to the gym, to hikes, and the aluminum body has not a single scratch. The built-in handle and tripod mount are also both great inclusions. When using the Revolve+ for personal listening, I found that it sounds the best mounted on a tripod, because it eliminates reflections from being placed on a surface. FUNCTIONALITY: The speaker connects to devices very quickly, and bluetooth range is about average: around 50 feet with no obstacles, and the range decreases if the signal must travel through walls or doors. The ability to pair two devices simultaneously, and the ability to wake up the speaker remotely through the Bose Connect app are both great touches. Battery life is impressive. At half volume, the Revolve+ played just over 24 hours, so the Revolve+ actually over-delivers on its advertised battery life. There was no way for me to test how long it would last at maximum volume, but I would estimate it could last around six hours. Unless you rarely need to blast the speaker near maximum volume, the battery will easily last long enough to stretch one or two weeks. VS. THE COMPETITION: Bose Revolve+ vs. UE Megaboom: The Revolve+ is marginally louder, has significantly deeper and stronger bass, and significantly more detailed midrange and treble… the Megaboom sounds quite muffled in comparison. The Revolve+ is slightly shorter than the Megaboom, but also slightly wider, so size is roughly comparable. The Megaboom has an edge over the Revolve+ in that it is waterproof, rather than just water resistant. Bose Revolve+ vs. JBL Charge 3: Both have similar levels of bass and volume. In terms of midrange and treble, it mostly just comes down to personal taste, but I personally find the Revolve+ to sound more natural. The Bose is slightly smaller and more portable, but the JBL has stronger waterproofing. I would like to reiterate - the Revolve+ is really the only true omnidirectional speaker in its class (UE Boom models have speaker drivers facing opposite directions, and JBL bluetooth speakers have fire bass to the sides in opposite directions, and midrange and treble forward). This in itself gives it a huge advantage over its competitors. If you are looking for a speaker that would be great for group events, the Revolve+ is unmatched by any competing speaker. CONCLUSION: In the last month or so of using the Bose SoundLink Revolve+, I have enjoyed using it to sing along to Ed Sheeran songs with my friends, party by blasting Kendrick Lamar’s new album, push myself through workouts in the gym and on the track, and sometimes just relax by myself. The Revolve+ is so good for so many purposes, I bring it with me everywhere. I hope my review was helpful to you!

Bose is one of the best
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Bose Soundlink Revolve+ is everything I look for in my tech products. Easy to use, good name brand, excellent warranty and tech support. This bluetooth speaker will immerse you in high fidelity sound while pleasing to the eye. The construction of the speaker pays attention to detail, as most Bose products are leaders in form and function. At the time of this review this speaker doesn't have any software assistants like Alexa, Siri or Google Home built in so this is not that product. This is a product for those of us that like to use Bluetooth speakers outside. This Revolve+ gets really loud for in/outdoor use. I've had it connected to my Macbook AIr, Acer/ iPad mini tablet. I've notice a refinement of sound quality while using my Google Pixel and iPhone 7. Using the same apps streaming Pandora, both sound great compared to the Acer tablet. Volume control from a distance shows no lag. It is hard to find any cons with this product but if history repeats itself this speaker will sound better after 500 hours of music. Most speakers sound better after 500-1000 hours of music due to speaker wear in. Cons: Bose app for both iPhone and Android kind of buggy at times. Better off with Built-In EQ. I think since I received this unit before release was the reason why it couldn't find the right association for the app. SInce the app looks for the product it is connecting to with a thumbnail picture of the product. Pros: Light water resistance Built in handle Lightweight Easy to connect to devices SOUNDS AMAZING
