Love this speaker, great sound. I need the speaker to be rugged and water restraint for work.

I use this speaker almost every day at work. I only keep the volume around 70-85%because it's so loud, which is a good thing. The addition of a Microphone is good but I don't use it at all. The rubber feet help it sit on a angled surface keeping it from thumping it's self off (unlike my last Bluetooth speaker which broke because of this). The fact that it is shock and water proof are the best things about the speaker.

Good sound quality speaker is great for boats camping any outdoor activities. Also good for indoor because it has an option for indoor or outdoor sound quality. Battery lasts at least 12 hours. I never have had it run out. Another great option is the USB charge option on it. It doesn't really recharge your device but it does keep your phone at the same level for at least 6 hours. Great buy. Worth the price!

Was looking for a speaker to take on my kayak while fishing. The features this speaker has like answering calls right from the speaker, skip songs without having to take my phone out of storage and being able to pair with a second speaker to give both you a 2.1 speaker experiance on the go are all great. I have taken it out in salt water multiple times with no issues and the speaker is super loud.

I have been able to use my Braven - BRV-X in many environments and have had great sound quality. The Indoor/Outdoor switch is a nice feature, allowing for a higher volume at upside events as well as a slightly lower setting so as not to disturb neighbors. The only negative point, is that inside at close range sound can get "static heavy" in order building's because of metal materials use in wall construction. Other than that, this is a great product that I would recommend for any audio lover.

Since purchasing the Braven BRV-X we have had several outdoor parties. Everyone in our party loved the speaker. Easy to synch with ipad or phones both iphone and android. Great sound projection. Started to lightly rain and left the speaker out for a test... stayed dry with no loss of quality sound.. Great buy!

I was looking for a speaker for my outdoor patio that would be wireless and portable while still providing great sound. This speaker exceeded my expectations. It's a great addition to my patio and I didn't have to hire an electrician to install anything. It provides great sound and on a full charge the battery has lasted as long as I needed it to. All in all a great purchase.

This thing works great in the outdoors, has a superior sound quality for its price range, is waterproof, pretty damage resistant and has a great battery life. Enough said.

Firstly, I love the way this sounds. For a portable speaker of its size and price, it probably has the best sound quality I've heard. Secondly, this speaker is fantastic to use if you have a newer Android phone. The NFC pad greatly simplifies the pairing process, since I didn't even have to go into settings. I just placed my phone on the back of the speaker, heard two beeps, and started streaming my music. I also love that the speakers can be paired together to work like a Sonos system (but waterproof!). The USB port for charging is a nice touch, but it doesn't provide enough power to actually charge my LG G2. It only provides 1 amp, where most newer phones (with screens above 5") need around 2 amps to charge properly. If I could add one thing, it would be a DC charger, since this is mostly being used on a boat. That doesn't count against my impressions of the speaker, but it'd be nice to have.

I use this speaker daily. I was torn between the Braven, the Pill, and the Bose Sound Link and am so happy I went with the advice of the Best Buy salesman and got the Braven! The sound is excellent, it's easy to use, and the battery lasts a long time (4.5-6 hours). I use it outdoors mostly and it booms!

Love this speaker! It connects easily and sounds great! It's sturdy and weatherproof too! It's been to the beach, the pool, boat trips, just around the house and patio and has functioned well everywhere! A friend bought one and we linked them together for even more sound!

I bought this speaker because it was waterproof and sounded good in the store. I use it around my pool, and the sound is really great for such a little speaker. It is a bit pricey, but the sound is really worth it. My Iphone 6 plus connected without any issues.

I bought a cheaper jam speaker for vacation because I wanted something small and portable but with good sound. It was okay but within the week it would not connect to any device. So I took it back bought this speaker and it's way better! No problems so far.

This is an awesome portable speaker for the money. Durable, long battery life, the only thing that could make it better would be a solar panel, ability to charge by usb and a longer Bluetooth range.

I bought this to use mainly at work, I work in a high noise production plant and this thing rocks! I needed something durable with a long battery life and this meets all expectations. I play it for HOURS at a time all the way up and it handles it greatly.

Has good quality sound for a small portable speaker. Certainly not professional quality but that's not the point of portable speakers of this sort. Works great in the wood shop where I work. I am able to still wear earplugs and hear the audio well enough.

I was a little hesitant abut spending the money on a portable speaker, but I'm really glad I did! Perfect sound for indoors and enough bass, volume and quality for outdoors! Looking forward to taking on our vacations and camping trips next year!!!

Tried three other speakers in my price range. The braven x is an awesome speaker , easy to use and sounds great. Thinking about getting a second one to link together. Very rugged its kept in my hockey bag and have not had an issue with it.

I think it's a great speaker -- very clear sound, good bass. It is a great value and I'm happy with it. Don't expect it to be super-duper loud like headphones, but I'm looking forward to the spring and summer trips with this very travel-friendly device. No worries throwing this in the bag and going!!
