One best and oldest way films out there! Alec Guinness is one of Hollywoods greatest actors and this is a definition of his work. Also being a true story makes it even better!

If it wasn't for the German military misstates the allied forces could have been devastated . Gen. Patton was right , good old Monty screwed up big time .Ike and others knew it . This is what happens when politicians think they know more than the generals . P.C. even back then!!!

Another great WWII movie converted for Blu Ray and the film is clear and crisp and the sound fantastic. This is exactly what Blu Ray was made for. Full staring cast from American to British to German to Dutch Great sale price as well. A must see just from the historical value alone

I like to purchase war movies on blu ray. You get the full effect off the gunfire and explosions on my sound system. The older movies are harder to come by and when I can get them on sale and pick them up at the Best Buy location near my house is a plus

I like war movies, and with its all-star cast, this one is certainly one of the best - well made and thoughtful, uncontaminated by the pervasive political correctness and inane musical soundtracks that seem to dominate more recent efforts.

A classic movie with an updated transfer. Colors are somewhat muted, a few specks here and there, but otherwise a nicely done transfer and a quality update to the dvd counterpart. The Blu-ray version also gets a nice little boost in audio as well, with a nicely done DTS-Master Audio 5.1 surround mix.

One of my favorite WWII movies. Though the visual effects don't stand up to today's standards, the story and the acting more than make up for it. A well-told story of the Operation Market Garden debacle.

I am so glad that they came out with a Blu-ray version of this classic WWII movie. My DVD copy was not near as crisp as this version and since this is one of my favorite war movies, only the best will do! Recommend it to all WWII buffs!

This is a older movie that I originally saw in a movie theater and was delighted when I was able to purchase it from BestBuy at a good price so my wife, who has not seen it, can watch it anytime we want.

Huge twist ending, won't spoil. Perfect look at the planning, conviction, determination, and all the unknown factors that affect a military operation. A true Murphy's law movie.

One of the good war movies of the past with a star-studded cast, now finally on BluRay. Gene Hackman's performance is probably the most stilted of his career, but doesn't detract from still being a sweeping epic of WWII.

I love this movie, have seen it a ton of times, and the first was so many years ago late at night. I rate this as one of the best ever, if you love WWII movies you will Love this one...!

A Bridge to Far, a forgotten classic. This flick has plenty of action and all star cast of prominent actors that makes this movie a classic to keep; based on true facts.

A well-done retelling of an Allied attempt to capture key bridges ahead of their main advance through Europe, to prevent the bridges being destroyed by the Germans. As the title indicates, became a bit of an over-reach. Lots of well-known actors.

Great old Classic movie, they remastered the audio and it sounds quite good, explosions are impactful, no weird audio phasing, picture is mastered well in HD!

Saw this for $5.99 on Blu-Ray and watched it when I was younger amazing movie with a ton of stars and action. If you love classic action and war movies you will love this!!

It's a classic 1970's blockbuster that may feel a bit dated in 2017. The movie is full of the stars of the day. A must have film for every war/history/WWII library.
