Nice espresso machine. One you dial in the right grounds your good to go.

Best espresso maker I have had! I had purchased several of the “less expensive” espresso machines and none of them are even close to the quality of this machine. Also it not only makes great coffee, it looks very classy on my counter.

Espresso was great, milk frother worked well after practice. However, the double shot portion of the machine stopped working after about 2 weeks so I returned it. I’ve lost patience for products that just don’t work.

This is the 2nd brand espresso machine I bought from the Winston Salem BestBuy and both were faulty. I spent about 3 days, 4 hours each day, trying to get this machine to work. The pressure gauge never moved beyond the preheat setting. This problem was not addressed in the trouble shooting manual or anywhere in it. I purged the machine twice and followed all directions to a Tee. The machine seems to be leaking from inside. Water runs out the bottom hole where the drip tray is inserted. I'm sure this is not supposed to happen, and probably the reason it will not build pressure. I tried to call the Brim customer service number given in mannual to ask about this and a few other weird things the machine was doing that were not addressed in the mannual. I got a recording that their office is closed for renovations. This espresso will also go back to BestBuy. No more espresso machines from bBestBut.

I am almost an expert in espresso coffee, my daughter is a professional barista of the most famous company in this field, we have a more expensive model, higher than 3,300.00, and we have found that the quality of the espresso is at the level of expensive machines.

Great home espresso machine works like commercial level machine. Heats up quickly, and far less noisy than other brands. Easiest machine I’ve owned to clean and disinfect. Best part can make multiple drinks quickly, No long waits between shots, highly recommend!

Grate and well built machine, but to noisy for my taste.

Too loud of a machine. Every time I turn it on it shakes and trembles. I must hold the cup during pours because they shake right off of the landing. So sad a machine this beautiful and with such great coffee operates like this. I wish I would have known about the noise. I would not have purchased. I wake everyone up every time I turn it on.

Very good looking but sometimes is noisy but is fine

This is our 4th Espresso machine in 20 years. The first one was very small, second was big, expensive and quit just after 1 year, third was cheap and still worked ok after 10 years. Saw this one online in Jan, was impressed buy the look of it, reviews and it's low price. We've looked at Breville ($$) & Jura ($$$$$) and decided to get the Brim. We use Cafe' Bustelo's pre-ground espresso coffee & the 2 cup pressurized filter for 2 single espressos. PROS: The espresso is very robust and tasty. Two year warranty Nice & heavy tamper included Looks great, more stainless than many brands Sturdy Portafilter Steam & Hot water wands rotates & swings out for easy access Fit & finish, very nice Large water tank Perfect Textured milk Pre-infuses coffee grounds CONS: The 19 Bar pressure gauge barely moves, ever. Not much crema. (could be user error) Coffee scoop is too large and hard to get grounds in the filter basket without spilling. Noisy, no where do the instructions warn you of what sounds are normal. Poor instructions when steaming. If you follow the instructions of switching the Function Control back dial to Standby after steam comes out the tip all the lights on the Control Panel start to flash, the machine sounds like an alarm going off & the steam purges into the Drip Tray. You can not place the tip in the milk fast enough to avoid this. First time I used the machine I thought it was going to blow up! I found that if you press the Steam Preheat, wait till illuminated, place a old frothing pitcher with a little water under the frothing tip, turn the Function Dial to Steam, once the steam comes out remove the pitcher with the water and take the chilled frothing pitcher with the milk & immerse the frothing tip into the milk. When done, turn the dial back to standby, place steam tip in the other pitcher on the tray with the water. The machine then purges the steam into the drip tray. Brim's customer service is terrible. I have contacted them 4 times to register online. The option for item 0019 isn't even on the list. I also had a list of questions and none were ever answered. No videos of someone making a espresso from start to finish so one can know what to expect. Puck stays wet and is hard to get out of portafilter without a spoon. With that being said, we still love the Brim and find we make coffee drinks more often than we used. For the price it seems to be a very nice machine & we would recommend it. Actually found it for less $ from a Member's Only store after we purchased from Best Buy.

Love being able to enjoy a nice cappuccino or a latte without having lo leave the house first thing in the morning. It is really user friendly, now I just have to mail the foam art!

Bought two in a row. Broken out of the box. Best buy did no compensation but at least returned it for me. First one would not build pressure, lights never stopped flickering, hot water wand never worked. Verified machine was broken and not user error. Second machine leaked water from the bottom of the machine all over the counter from the first time I used it. Complete fail on both machines.

I love it! it is my first expresso machine and I can make great cappuccinos! no more going to coffee shops to get drinks. I got a grinder for coffee beans so this is it!

It took a couple tries get use to making espresso coffee, but it's been well worth it. Great replacement for Starbucks. I make americanos every morning. Bout this a month ago and havent had any issues. Make about 6 shots every morning.

Awesome machine, very easy to use & the clean up in easy. Wife was very happy with this gift and she enjoys making her espresso's every morning :)

Not enough pressure to really extract the coffee. Taste it like a regular made on the keurig. The steam was really loud hurt my ears.

This one makes real good Expresso and is comes with instructions and a stainless steel cup 5 stars! alot of bang for your buck..

I purchased the Brim Espresso Maker and I had it for a couple of months and than it stopped brewing the coffee beans and I checked it out but it wouldn't work so I returned for another one. Sad to say, the 2nd one developed the symptoms. I was able to upgrade to the DeLonghi EC915X and that is the build better and does brew the latte's and Espresso's 100% better.

Still learning all of the possibilities that are available with the Brim. Every experiment has been fun, and flavorful, but experience should bring consistency. This is a well built machine.

We love our Brim espresso maker. After a little practice we have been able to make quality cappuccinos every morning. Easy to use and easy to clean up. Makes good frothed milk.
