    Better clean and reduces discomfort

I have very sensitive teeth, and over the years have tried many different types of toothbrushes, from soft manual types to expensive sonic designs. My frustrations have always involved trying to avoid causing my gums to bleed while still getting my teeth clean and balancing the cost of the device itself and replacement heads so I’m not breaking the bank. I had largely given up and gone back to using a soft manual brush up until now with this Burst Sonic Toothbrush. I was immediately impressed with the design for the cost and was very intrigued all along by the low cost of future replacement heads that I feel are quite reasonable. Upon using the brush for the first few times I can happily say that I have had no problems with gum bleeds and my sensitive teeth have not been aggravated by it so those are big wins for me. I also feel like my teeth have been much cleaner since moving into this brush from my manual one and that is of course the whole idea behind a nice toothbrush. It has 3 modes, normal, sensitive, and massage, that are selected by holding the power button from the off state for a couple seconds to switch. It will remember that mode from then on, so you don’t have to switch every time. I honestly went straight to the sensitive mode knowing that would be best for my situation and I am thrilled with how it has performed for me. As you brush it will indicate 30 second intervals to remind you to switch inside and outside on top and bottom to help ensure you’ve brushed long enough and covered everything, which seems to be standard for a sonic brush in my experience. Charging is done with the included induction dock and usb power supply and has an advertised battery life that should last quite a long time. I used it right out of the box without charging it and it worked great. I like that it is black which will look nice longer than white ones have in the past for me as they typically start to yellow over time. You can register the product on their website which will give you a 1-year warranty, and if you choose to subscribe to 12-week replacement head shipping from Burst they will offer a lifetime warranty on the handle. It’s a nice way to keep on track with replacing heads when you should and earning some peace of mind for the longevity of the device. I am impressed with Burst as a company so far and this toothbrush has solved many of the problems I have had with brushing making it much easier for me to do without pain and discomfort.

    They didn't think it through....

The Burst Sonic toothbrush is further proof that soon EVERY PRODUCT in the world will be subscription based. Before you buy, know that you MUST SUBSCRIBE to toothbrush head refills. You cannot buy 1 or 2 once in awhile. You must buy through a subscription. Equally as bad I think the replacement head cost is high. The unit is sleek looking and fancily boxed, but an annoyance right away is the base. A 'finish cover' slides over the base and yet it doesn't snap in place. Every time you move the unit and don't lift the entire base it separates and falls in sink or on floor. How did this get missed in design? The toothbrush is OK. It has a built in 2 min timer that stops every 30 sec to remind you to brush a different section of your teeth. Imagine that. The brush head is soft and feels good against my teeth and gums. The brush uses 3 speeds that are whitening, massage & sensitive. The brush feels comfortable in your hand and does vibrate at comfortable speeds. They claim up to 10x more plaque removal than a manual brush if used in whitening mode. I personally use the sensitive setting. The other two don't meet my preference. The usb charger supposedly gives a month charge. Still testing the longevity of that claim. Overall, I find this toothbrush to do a good job cleaning, but find the replacement head subscription nonsense and poorly designed base aggravating and unnecessary.

A Stylish Toothbrush With Methodical Cleaning

The Sonic Toothbrush by Burst is a stylish and intelligent electric toothbrush with a four week battery life and three modes. The three modes are simple: 1, or default, is for whitening and is the strongest mode. 2, is for sensitive teeth, so a little gentler. 3, is a massage mode with a pulsating effect. I would recommend 1 for most people, although I personally prefer 2 because I have sensitive teeth. 3 is designed to let you relax with a good old fashioned teeth massage, but I wasn’t particularly fond of this mode. Maybe it’s not my thing. It is recommended to brush your teeth for two minutes, so when the power button is pushed, the Sonic is on for two minutes. Every thirty seconds, it will pause momentarily to remind you to move on to the next quadrant. I’ve never used the thirty second method before, but it made the time go faster than just brushing my teeth chaotically with a manual toothbrush for two minutes like before. That’s right, I’ve used a manual toothbrush my whole life, and this is my first electric. My dentist keeps recommending me to switch so here we are. An electric toothbrush is supposed to be better at keeping away plaque, so I’m looking forward to having a cleaner mouth from now on. The main difference for me, is that the Sonic Toothbrush gives you more of that dentist cleaning feeling. Afterwards, my mouth feels cleaner, although my gums will feel a tiny bit sore from the vibrations. Also, it just feels like the toothpaste was properly used, not just lingering in my mouth for a few minutes. I’ve also noticed less of a toothpaste aftertaste afterwards. The battery life is promised to be four weeks, but I haven’t had the toothbrush long enough to know the full details on that yet, but since we’re expected to brush our teeth twice a day for two minutes, I will presume it will be pretty close to that, and when the toothbrush do need to charge, all you need is to use the included charger or plug it into any USB charger with the included cord. Quick note: the manual, which is hilariously written by the way, warns that the included charger is only good for US power (110v) but the charger itself says it’s compatible with up to 240v, so I’m not sure who to trust. If in doubt, use a regular USB charger or a USB port on your computer, which is extra convenient for travel. The package comes with one brush, which is recommended to be replaced every three months. You can either sign up for a subscription on their website, OR buy them on the internet, e.g. Amazon, where they come in a 3 pack. They come in three different colors, just like the unit itself. Last but not least, I want to make a big point out of saying how hilarious the manual is, or launch guide, as they call it. It’s super funny, but also very informative. Any questions you’ll have when you open the box will be answered there, with a joke thrown in, here and there. Their logo is even a smiley face, so like The Joker said, “let’s put a smile on that face!” He just left out the part about having beautiful, white teeth. Overall, a great toothbrush that looks stylish, has three different settings, thirty second quadrant reminders and a one month battery life. Although I can’t compare it to any other electric toothbrush, it sure is a lot better than a manual, so I definitely recommend this toothbrush.

    I love my burst toothbrush!

i’ve been using battery powered tooth brush for over 15 years now, but i’ve been sticking with the same toothbrush for almost all these years, I been using Sonic care and pretty they haven’t changed much than features it offers. now I finally had the opportunity to use Burst sonic toothbrush, man this is my favorite toothbrush i’ve ever owned, the design alone is something I enjoy, it feels fresh and new to experience. Burst claims that their brush can remove up to 10 times more plaque, im not a toothbrush or dental experts but im hoping what they claim is true. because I never had any cavities and I almost take care of my teeth, so those info are very important to me. I like the design of this brush, the shapes they added around the handle is great, I actually feel like im holding on to something, while most electric brushes i’ve tried are mainly smooth Burst sure does help me control and guide while brushing my teeth thanks to its unique design, so even tho my toothbrush gets went I don’t feel like it will slip anytime. Burst also claim that I won’t have to charge this for a month, once it’s fully charge, definitely my old electric brush from soniccare doesn’t last a month. haven’t fully tested this on Burst brush considering i’ve only been using this for a week. but hey, if it’s true, then that’s awesome! this brush that comes with Burst toothbrush is something different than what i’ve been used to, this soft charcoal bristles is so soft, im pretty bad at pressing toothbrush on my teeth but hoping that after having these soft bristles I will reduce that. so far i’ve been using this toothbrush as intended to be used. I let the brush to its work and I slowly move it on all different sides of my teeth, Burst offer 3 mode to use, it’s default setting is set to Whitening, you also have Sensitive and Massage settings what’s great about using this toothbrush, the brush would automatically pause after 30 seconds to remind you that it’s time to move to next sections, you definitely want to go slower brushing with these and I know something we tend to rush but I do feel like after using this for a week and my teeth felt great after usage. The brush last for 3 months, and the only down side is that you will need to order your brushes from their website, I haven’t seen any brushes in store but maybe i over looked. brush cost $8 for single buy, but if you subscribe it’s $7 every 3 months, and I think that’s a much better deal, it will automatically be delivered at your home. I feel like that’s the route ill be getting. and maybe have an extra brush in the house just incase something happens. I love this brush and from the past I would buy an after market brushes for my Soniccare but when it comes to this ill make sure to get the best quality brushes for me. I highly recommend this Burst Sonic Toothbrush, it’s amazing.

Electric Toothbrush that will not break the bank

The Burst sonic is a budget toothbrush that works and will not break your bank. I have used Oral B for many years and I was thinking of upgrading to their more expensive one until I tried this. First, the included brush head is perfect and that's because the bristles are super soft, for my taste. For me that was a winner because of my sensitive gums. The toothbrush has three settings from whitening which is the fastest, sensitive which is the one I use, and pulsating which they called it massage. The diamond design grips feels good to hold and it will not slip. Another great thing about this toothbrush is that it will hold the charge for about a month, my old one I had to charge every other day. The toothbrush heads are easy to change and the only cost about $7. The only thing I didn't like was that it didn't come with the travel case, but you can buy it separately. I can say I am happy with this toothbrush and the best of all is not that expensive. In the box you get the toothbrush, toothbrush head, charging base, USB brick and manuals.

I've been through a lot of different toothbrushes through the years and all make a lot of promises but this one does seem like it lives up to what it promises. First of all unpacking it is really nice. It almost feels like an Apple product in simplicity and elegancy. There's not a lot in the box but it's all presented really nicely. Setting it up required no instructions, pretty self exclamatory. You get one really nice all black charcoal toothbrush head. It says it holds a charge for a month and I 'm not so sure it'll last that long but so far so good as its been a couple of weeks and it's still chugging along. In use it provides a very strong brush, a sign of a good quality toothbrush. Yes you can make it less intense if you desire. I have bought or received more expensive toothbrushes than this in the past so this toothbrush really is an excellent value and I cannot recommend it enough. BTW Love the all black look, really looks unique. Only criticism is the cord is extremely short. But then if you can charge it once and move it to where you want it I don't see it's much of a drawback.

Different experience with a first time sonic brush

Well, it’s definitely a different experience with a first time sonic vibrating brush. All my previous brushes of course had the bristlehead turn left and right vigorously, with a plug in charger, and I think more rigid bristles. This one however has soft bristles and dark charcoal colored I believe; and just sonic vibration. The black I think is pretty a stealth-like color (along with the black bristles I just mentioned). The Whitening mode will be the main setting on this brush as I go the extra mile brushing my teeth as many times a day I can making them clean at at this point as my non career job only has medical benefits for the time being (but no dental LOL). It’s cool the charger cable is your universal standard usb plug with a wall plug in block; plug in any USB port I believe. Sometimes I feel, with this toothbrush, you’d have to still use the circular brushing motion going back and forth Vs plainly going back and fourth; didn’t have a feel to do that using my other previous mechanical type brushes. Let alone I think it will do about an equal job or even better. I’d Definitely give it a whirl.

We only learned after purchase and past the return date that this highly rated toothbrush has charcoal bristles, which our dentist says is popularly advertised for whitening teeth, but the charcoal will ultimately wear out tooth enamel, causing your teeth to yellow over time. So beware! We didn't use, but our daughter wanted and she is happy with it.

You'll be surprised the first time you use this thing, and if you aren't you're lying. Easy minor assembly out of the box. Comes with at least a week of charge in it (since that's about as long as I've had it.) The brush head and bristle area looked like it was going to be lacking, but it turns out it wasn't really a problem. Brush has nice weight an balance. The different modes are interesting and have different feels for sure, but I stuck mostly with the main, whitening mode. The sound is a little off-putting at first, sounding a bit like a dental drill, but you get used to it, and it's not overly loud. The brush works off vibration, and that does travel through the whole brush head, so if you bump your lip or something with the brush arm, it gonna feel a bit strange. It pauses every 30 seconds for 'zone change' and that's a bit iffy to get used to, especially as that 2 minute auto-shutoff seems to come at you quick. The bristles are soft, and for something hitting you with what's listed as 30k+ vibrations, they're surprisingly gentle. I will say also, that I've used other electric brushes, but this one you can actually feel that your teeth are clean, more than any other I've used.

The Burst Sonic Toothbrush is impressive. It has a very nice design that easy to hold. It can be in use for one month off of a single charge. It's waterproof, so you can brush in the shower, although I don't usually brush my teeth in the shower. It comes with a preloaded charcoal bristle head that is replaceable. And a USB wall charger so no need to worry about replacing batteries. And three modes of use for any user's mouth whitening, a sensitive and massage setting. This Burst has a timer feature that pauses every 30 seconds so that you know to move to another location in your mouth for a complete 2-minute clean. Many people might say it's a toothbrush, but I was impressed with the results after daily use. The Sonic pulse gave an excellent cleaning sensation around the gumline. And the whitening setting gives a deep clean. And I know that's something my dentist will love. So with the Burst and I am sure you will be on your way to a healthier, cleaner smile in no time. I mean no one likes to brush but this one makes it worth the time.

    An excellent electric toothbrush

What can I say, it's an electric toothbrush that does an excellent job, as advertised. The toothbrush head has a charcoal coating that is supposed to help with cleaning the teeth. I don't know the exact science behind it, but after using the Burst electric toothbrush, my mouth/teeth feel very clean. I have another electric toothbrush, but this one has become it's replacement. This toothbrush has three modes, whitening, sensitive, and massage. I prefer the whitening mode. This toothbrush is supposed to last a month on a single overnight charge. So far I've gone a week and still no need to charge. My old electric toothbrush would only last four to five days. When you start this toothbrush it has some sort of timer that repeats itself. So basically it divides your brushing into 4 zones. Once it stops you should have completed brushing your teeth. They recommend replacing the toothbrush head every 12 weeks. I looked into the price of replacement heads that are Burst brand and they are going for about $25 for three. There are cheaper alternatives, but after reading the reviews for those products it doesn't seem like they are the same quality. One other thing to note is that it does not come with a travel case, but you can buy it separately. Likes: 1.) Teeth feel really clean after using it 2.) About one month use on a single charge 3.) Divides your brushing into timed zones. Dislikes: 1.) Replacement heads are expensive 2.) Does not come with a travel case

The Burst Sonic toothbrush is a very light tooth brush with a cool look. I really like the look and feel and the design they used when creating this model. No charging necessary when you first use it after taking it out of the box for the first time. There are a total of 3 modes. The modes are very easy to use and operate. My favorite mode is mode 1, which is the strongest mode out of the three. Mode 2 is for sensitive gums and very gentle, and could be used for a retiree, toddler, or someone with sensitive gums. Mode 3 is the massager. I would highly recommend this toothbrush because every 30 seconds it will pause and allow you to move to the next quadrant. You get just the right amount of time for each section of your teeth while brushing your teeth.  It lasts for a total of 2 min with a month old battery which is unlike several electric toothbrushes I've used in the past. My mouth feels clean and teeth look and feel great! Out of the electric toothbrushes I’ve used over the years, this one might be my new favorite.

5 stars for cleaning, 3 for comfort. This toothbrush does an excellent job of cleaning and it noticeably whitens my teeth better than manual brushing. I happily give it 5 starts for cleaning. I can only give it 3 stars for comfort though. I cannot use any mode other than "massage" and even that mode is hard for me to keep the toothbrush on my teeth for the 2 minutes of cleaning. I expected more of a difference between the 3 levels of intensity, but it's barely a difference at all. There's a lot to like about this toothbrush. The bristles are soft, there are 3 different levels of intensity, the charging base can be separated from the charging cord to use as a stand, the pauses while brushing, the auto turn off after 2 min. and it remembers your last setting so you don't have to keep resetting every time you brush. And most of all the awesome job it does whitening and cleaning. I keep hoping that the more I use it the more I'll get accustomed to the intensity and it won't be so uncomfortable. Sadly it hasn't happened yet.

This is a nice unit with eye-catching flashy packaging. Sharp look on the bathroom sink. The appearance is sleek and classy with an all black finish. The sonic label comes with 33,000 sonic vibrations per minute and claims to remove 10x more plaque than manual. There are 3 modes: whiten, sensitive, or massage - all of which really feel about the same to me, just different rhythms. Some other reviewers state that the power of this toothbrush is uncomfortable but I disagree, the sensation is not overwhelming at all. I switched to this from a waterpick sonic brush and intensity-wise they seemed very similar to me. Battery life claims 30 days per charge. I've had it for about 2 weeks so far, charged it when it arrived and I haven't needed to again since so we will see. This brush has the typical built-in 2 minute timer and pauses every 30 seconds to remind you to move around your mouth. Seems to be the standard on most motorized brushes now but definitely a nice feature to keep you focused. Overall this is a nice looking toothbrush that works well and seems to have pretty good battery life thus far. As for the intensity, you'll just need to decide for yourself but I felt it was comparable to others that I've used before.

There is no shortage of sonic and/or electric toothbrushes in the market. But a few things make Burst stand out: 1. Brush heads with soft multi-length bristles 2. 33,000 vibrations pers minute 3. Charcoal infused bristles The multi-length brush heads make a difference in getting to hard to reach spots. I have a partially impacted wisdom tooth and it was much easier to clean it with this Burst than other sonic toothbrushes. The bristles supposedly also get in between teeth better. But I floss anyway so not much of a benefit for me. If you have perfectly aligned teeth (eg, wore braces as a kid), the multi-length may not be a significant factor for you. Brushing with 33,000 vibrations per minute is noticeable compared to other toothbrushes with slower numbers. It really stimulates your gums, especially with the longer bristles. The charcoal infusion to me seems more like a marketing gimmick. I can’t say my teeth are any whiter because of it. And given that charcoal is abrasive, I can’t imagine there’s more than a trace of it anyway in the brush head. The actual functions are rather standard (3 brushing modes) and no bluetooth connectivity or app. The one downside is there is no pressure gauge to let you know when you’re pressing too hard. Overall this is a good value, however, with it’s reasonable entry cost and brush heads that can be as cheap as $7 with a subscription.

The Burst Sonic Toothbrush is a well-designed toothbrush for those seeking an upgrade. Included in the box is the toothbrush itself, charging base, USB wall adapter, and a sealed toothbrush head. The brush is well designed, and the grip is comfortable. USB charger allows for greater versatility when on the move. Soft, charcoal black bristles are great when paired with the impressive 33,000 vibrations/minute. Brush is advertised to remove 10x more plaque and reduce gum bleeding by 3x compared to a manual toothbrush. Battery is advertised to last one month on a charge. Vertical lights indicate three brushing modes: whitening, sensitive, and massage. Modes are cycled through by holding the power button. Whitening mode vibrates most intensely than sensitive, and massage mode quickly pulsates between high and low intensity. Toothbrush automatically shuts off after 2 minutes and pauses every 30 seconds. Feature is good for timing your brushing; however, there is no way of disabling the feature. Overall, the Burst Sonic Toothbrush is a great choice for those wanting to take their oral hygiene to the next level.

First I want to say WOW! This toothbrush definitely is amazing. I followed the instructions this past week to select the various modes (Whitening, Pulse or normal). I really like the whitening. Every 30 seconds, it shuts off for a second so you know to move to another quadrant in your mouth. I have been brushing every tooth 4 to 5 seconds as instructed in the manual. The black toothbrush is so nice as it cleans well and keeps the brush which is black looking new after cleaning. The bristles are soft and rejuvenating. I wasn't expecting such a smooth yet penetrating brushing. After using the brush for the past week, my teeth and gums feel great. My teeth are definitely whiter and continuing to whiten each time I look in the mirror. I have had several electric toothbrushes in my past, but none compares to this one. It is the best of the best. I cannot say it enough, it simply works as expected and refreshes my entire mouth. I am glad to say I found this toothbrush. Comes with a USB charging cord and cables which makes it easy to plug in and a stand up base.
