  • Surprisingly high quality prints. Pricy Refill.

    If you like photography and journaling, this is a great machine for you. For a device so small and portable, I was not expecting the prints to be this high quality at all. The paper/cartridge refills are quite pricy however. The bigger XS-20L is about $0.85 per print and the smaller XC-20L is about $0.75 per print. Not cheap by any means but you can leave some super high quality photos in your journal for good memories. They're also a sticker which means you can put them into journals without glue which is nice. But overall the machine is very well made and the layout app is surprisingly feature rich.

    Only reason for four stars is not because of the printer, but because BestBuy does NOT sell the paper/ink sets (at time of this review). PLEASE make sure you also buy the paper/ink sets - the paper and ink come together, as the ink lasts exactly the number of prints of paper they come with. They are easy to use, and you have two options for size (square and card). It's just strange that BestBuy doesn't also bundle these together, or even sell the paper/ink sets.

    I’ve tried the SELPHY and Polaroid printers and this was the best. Quality of the prints were the best although the paper is not the cheapest.

    Absolute piece of junk comes with nothing other than the printed and charging cord. Best Buy doesn’t even show the required print supplies on their website. $150 of uselessness.

    Disappointing Christmas gift. Just a printer and a power cord. Can’t do anything with it. Cant use it for pictures when you buy it. Can’t return it. Best Buy doesn’t link any of the supplies needed and won’t allow the return.
