It comes with a picture of Chris on the front, making me believe that by purchasing this product not only can I be as muscular as him, but can be just as handsome. I’m not sure what else you need to know about the product other than that.
But all jokes aside. It comes with 6 pieces which his 24 square feet and are about a quarter of an inch in depth. They are foamy. Meaning they are kind of a plastic/foam material that makes it easy too clean, while also providing some padding both to you, the floor, and your equipment. While also providing a bit of noise suppression. There is some texture to help with grip. They are pretty resilient toward abrasions. Each piece fits together like a puzzle piece making it easy to setup. Depending on your room/angle they can also be cut to fit snugly. With them being lightweight and easy to setup they also work great if you are looking for an as needed situation. Where you can easily set them up, tear them down, and store them. Also, doesn’t leave any staining (that I’ve noticed at least). Don’t have any negatives that I can think of.

Nice Mat for working out

We have a workout machine in our basement and had to use a yoga mat in front of it all the time. While the yoga mat worked it was small and didn't work the greatest. The yoga mat couldn't be let down because its in the path to our laundry room and bathroom. While not a huge issue, it just didnt look great and not super functional.
These gym mats fixed those issues. When all of them are connected together it gives a pretty big area and they stay connected really well. The mat can now be left down as its easy to walk over and even holds up to the dogs walking on it. Setup was easy as the pieces connect like a puzzle, you even get boarder pieces that complete the mat, helps hold it together, and also makes it look clean and more put together.
The material is textured firm plastic that offers some give. So, these are not overly soft, but not overly hard. They provide enough cushion to soften jumping, but not so soft that your foot sinks in and causes you to lose balance. We have a dog that has sharp nails and he has run across this or played on it and the mat shows no wear or damage. He also kicked up the mat and started biting the corner, again no damage.
The only downside we have found is that on our laminate fake wood floor, the mat will slid around pretty easily. The back side of the mat does have some rubbery felt type material, but it does not hold on to our floor. This is not a deal breaker for us as that is expected and can be easily fixed by placing a non-slip rug pad under it. We have not tried this yet but those pads work great for keeping rugs in place on our slick floor so I don't see why it wouldn't work in this situation.
Overall we really like these mats and it makes working out much nicer. I like that we can also expand and make the work out space bigger with more pieces. I would purchase again if needed.

Premium Gym Floor Mats

The Centr gym floor exercise mats are an excellent addition to any gym.
• Packaging – The gym mats arrived well protected but in an excessively large box containing an abundance of bubble wrap. While I only received one 24 sq. ft. kit, the box could have easily held ten or more. Hopefully Centr can adjust the box size and bubble wrap amount to be more economical because there is a lot of waste. It would be great to see fitted boxes for the product with about ½ the amount of bubble wrap.
• Installation – The installation is super straightforward and only took a few minutes. I already had the pattern in mind (rectangle); although all 4 edges are removable, so the number of configurations is quite large.
• Material – These are made from high-density EVA foam. They did not have the characteristic gym mat “chemical smell” which was a nice surprise.
• Quality – All of the mats had a uniform pattern and the edge pieces fit nicely. All the mats were also undamaged. When walking on the mats with both gym and cycling shoes, they have a nice subtle spring to them and do not move on my tile floor.
Overall, I am impressed with these gym mats. They are highly customizable and priced competitively. I plan to buy two more 24 sq. ft. kits to finish out my gym room.

Makes workouts easier

I recently canceled my gym membership and started buying weights to work out at home, I quickly ran into a problem that I wasn’t expecting and that is that every time I would do an exercise like a dumbbell bench press…. I would be so tired after my set that my first instinct is quickly drop the dumbbells… well this is a problem if you’re setting them down on your tile, wood or even cement floor as you would ruin your floor or the weights themselves.
The solution? Floor mats. Or more Specifically Centr Gym Floor Exercise Mats. The material is a lightweight, soft foam rather than a heavy, thick rubber. For anyone wondering
The overall dimensions is 24feet squared (which is not a huge area but big enough for you to use for a single person workout) and the mat forms a rectangle shape. They snap together easily and flawlessly. Makes picking them up and storing them just as easy as setting them up. As you can see the pictures they have a “steel” design and overall they look and feel very rugged. Should last you a long time.

Perfect for Light Workouts

These puzzle piece workout flooring sets have been popular for a while now, and I think Centr did a good job with this product, adding something to the competitive landscape. For my use-case, these mats have several good qualities, but there are a few considerations to keep in mind depending on your workout routine.
PROS
1. Lightweight Material: The mats are made from a thin and light material, making them easy to handle and move around. This is perfect for lightweight workouts and quick setup or relocation.
2. Versatile Puzzle Piece Design: The interlocking puzzle piece design is fantastic. It allows for flexible configurations, ensuring you can cover any workout space, as long as you have the correct edge pieces. This feature is particularly useful for making a non-usable surface comfortable for exercising.
3. Space-Efficient: If you're short on space, like I am in my house, these mats allow you to set up a small workout spot in areas like a basement without much hassle. This versatility makes them ideal for creating a functional workout area in tight or unconventional spaces.
4. Comfort: The mats provide a comfortable surface for various exercises, reducing strain on joints during bodyweight workouts or while using lighter weights.
CONS
1. Thin Material: While the lightweight material is a plus for some, it also means the mats are quite thin. This thinness might not provide sufficient cushioning or protection for heavy-duty workouts involving substantial weights.
2. Durability Concerns: Given the thinness of the mats, I would be cautious about using them for heavy-duty workouts. Dropping heavy weights could potentially tear or damage the material. My use case involves smaller weights (about 45 lbs), and I typically drop them from waist height or while seated during abdominal workouts. So far, the mats have held up well under these conditions.
CONCLUSION
These mats are great for lightweight workouts and simple body exercises. If your workout involves dropping heavy weights frequently, you might want to consider more dense and durable options. However, for my current needs, these mats are perfect. They provide a functional workout space in a small area and hold great value for their price.
Overall, if your workouts are similar to mine—focusing on lighter weights and body exercises—these Centr Gym Flooring Exercise Mats are an excellent choice. For heavier equipment and more intense workouts, investing in a thicker, more durable mat might be a better option.

Versatile Gym Mat - Comfortable - Good Buy

Use exercise mats and devices continually in my home and at a clinic for stretching and lifting exercises. Have many, many hours of mat time, and the fact is mats differ, from overall size, thickness and most importantly is feel. How do your back, side, front, and your sitting area feel?
Overall size, durability, convenience of getting ready and storing along with the how comfortable you are on the mat for from light stretching to extended periods are the benchmarks.
My first impression of Centr Gym Flooring Exercise mats is quite good, easy to setup, great size/fit, comfortable in my time on the mat, easy cleanup/wipe down and easily stored.
My main comparison is with my other mat, which is thicker style that folds with a shake of the hand. Surprisingly I found the Centr Gym mat to be as comfortable as my thicker mat, which is good. My other mat is made for quick storage where the Centr Gym is more functional if you do not plan on putting away after every use. Me, I typically leave my mats out all the time.
Side note; if you store a one piece mat the same size the Centr Gym you will discover the Centr takes far less space for storage. That’s a plus!
Selling point for me is that the Centr Gym covers a larger area than my fold away mat, and that I appreciate, especially in the majority of stretch routines. More is better when you are stretching and moving from side to side. I’m sure, if you are into Yoga and in a reverse upside-down inverted twist you will appreciate the space. (pun intended)
The Centr Gym Mat is well suited for permanent home gym/workout rooms, you could easily cover your floor with the interlocking sections, which I am considering. The individual interlocking sections connect easily and should hold tight with under gym equipment in use.
Bottomline, the mat is well made, comfortable, good price and it’s staying in my exercise room.

I recently got the Centr Gym 6-piece Flooring Exercise Mats - 24ft for my home gym setup. The mats are incredibly easy to assemble. Each piece locks securely into the next with a simple interlocking system, making the setup process quick and hassle-free. Within minutes, I had a sturdy and stable flooring surface ready for my workouts.
The quality of the mats is top-notch. They are thick enough to provide ample cushioning and support during exercises like yoga, pilates, and bodyweight workouts. I feel confident jumping and doing high-impact movements without worrying about discomfort or slipping.
The mats are versatile. I use them not only for exercising but also as a comfortable surface for stretching and even as a play area for my kids. The material is durable and easy to clean, which is a huge plus for maintaining hygiene in a home gym environment.
The size of the mats (24 square feet in total) is perfect for my space. I can arrange them in different configurations to fit the layout of my room, which adds to the flexibility of use.
Overall, I am thoroughly impressed with Centr Gym 6-piece Flooring Exercise Mats. They offer excellent value for money considering their quality, durability, and versatility. Whether you're setting up a home gym or just need a reliable flooring solution, I would highly recommend these mats without hesitation. They have definitely exceeded my expectations!

Good exercise equipment mat

Overall this is a decent mat. This particular package comes in 6 equal sized pieces. There are also 6 border pieces that are interchangeable. You can switch them around to fit your needs. Each piece has the same interchangeable design similar to puzzle pieces. I ended up only needing to use 4 pieces to fit my purpose which was under a echelon exercise bike. Each piece easily fit together without any fuss. The factory design and cut of the foam is well done. No jagged pieces or edges or anything that would prevent the pieces from locking together and holding. The pieces themselves feel thin. Maybe a 1/2 inch or 3/4 of an inch. They don’t need to be super thick but time will tell how this holds up to wear and tear from the bike use. I could see the legs of the bike, which are on the foam of these mats, tearing it a bit. But hopefully not.
The look of the mat itself is pleasing. It has a design that is similar to grated metal. From afar it might even be confused with being that. So in that sense, it’s better than just a plain boring black foam.
I would have no problem recommending these as I think they will serve my needs well.

Good Home Gym Upgrade, Floors will Thank You

I needed some workout mats to help reduce the noise of dropped weights and protect the concrete flooring from being chipped away in a shared workout room in our building. I just so happen to live right above this room and can hear every single weight dropped by anyone using the weights. Picked up the Centr Gym Flooring Exercise Mats to cover just the space where the weights were to see if it helps, and if it does will consider expanding the covered space to more of the rooms floor.
Pros:
- Easy to Setup, customize, or adjust size of mat.
- Light weight.
- Stops most of the impact.
Cons:
- Slips on Concrete flooring.
- Limited Protection, fine for normal responsible users.
Assembly:
Assembly is super simple, just take the 6 mats out of the packaging and snap them together. You will have to remove the edge pieces on 2 of them if you are going for a 3 by 2 mat, as the 6-pack provided includes snap on edges for 2 of the 4 sides for all pieces.
Performance:
After putting all 6 mats together with the included edge pieces, I was a little disappointed that I could quite easily move the combined mat around on the concrete floor when on it with any sudden movements. I would not recommend any fast or sudden movements on this smaller mat setup. When I weigh down the corners the mat stays better, but not perfectly. I think a larger square foot combined mat would be ideal, but it will need to be weighed down with equipment or other objects to keep it locked in place. Though I was impressed with how the mats stayed connected even when moving around on them. There was no separation or tearing of the connected mats.
I did notice that the mats greatly reduced the sound and impact of any dropped weights, but only up to a point. Any dropped weights under 20lbs seemed to do fine, even from as far as 3 feet from the ground, but 20lbs and above would make auditable noises even from a foot above. In normal responsible use, I could see this being fine as anyone dropping weights above a foot should probably just not. But it is something to consider if you are doing high intensity interval training or heavy lifting, when you set something down, you will still want to be careful not to just drop it. So far, the mats have made a huge difference in the amount of sound I hear even if I still hear some it is a noticeable reduction. Both I and the floor are thankful.
Cleaning was easy, the textured side can be easily wiped clean. Though I will have to be careful of what products are used to avoid damaging the foam.
Conclusion:
The Centr Gym Flooring Exercise Mats pack for 24 Sq Ft is a great deal for a small at home gym or starter mat set. It’s easy to assemble, customizable and easy to expand if you decide to later. I would be cautious if you wanted to use these for a more public setting as the mat does not stay put on the floor unless weighed down and provides only mild protection from falling weights. But for normal responsible users, this is a great addition to a home gym.

Okay but some notable issues

I’ve looked into getting exercise mats for a long time to go with our bench and dumbbells, but hadn’t pulled the trigger yet. Got these and I have mixed feelings about them. It’s packaged just like any other mats I’ve seen, in shrink wrap with a paper insert, and includes enough border pieces to surround the entire set of 6 making for the 24 square feet worth. This is just enough to set my bench right in the middle, or enough for a person to easily lay on them for sit-ups, pushups, etc. It’s supposed to be super easy to set up, and that is technically true, but I found after over 20 minutes trying to get the patterns to line up that it was seemingly impossible to do. So, that leaves the 6 pieces randomly interconnected which looks find from 6+ feet away but bothers me when I’m up close. All the attempts to get them to line up also caused the puzzle piece like teeth to look a bit worn and they don’t fit as well as they did initially. The mats are comfortable to stand and lay on, and they seem to hold up to being run over by my robot vacuum and dogs so that is also good. But I don’t fully love the way they look, and that wear on the teeth from my pattern search indicates that they may not look great in the long term. It’s a good economical way to get a better exercise experience at home and that is what counts. Just not perfect.

Great pads. 1 minor nitpick.

I was interested in these because I wanted to rebuild my home gym. My current tile floor isn't cutting it for basic work outs and these seem to do a good job at providing enough padding without it feeling too hard. Not much else to really say given they're basic tile work out pads, but I did run into one minor nitpick that may or may not be a deal breaker to some. Lets get right into it!
PRESENTATION:
The pads themselves arrived well packaged and I have no real general complaints about the presentation. Standard Shrink-wrap around the product branding.
PERFORMANCE:
The pads perform well and to my personal expectations. I wish they were slightly thicker, but certainly not too bad.
ISSUES:
This wont impact everyone, but I'm a little OCD about the pattern design not interlocking linearly across the 6 pads. They lock in together completely fine, but the kit seems like it was originally designed for 4 tiles which interlock the "design pattern"... Again.. it's not really a deal breaker, but It does annoy me a little since the pattern goes the opposite way on the two end tiles. This is my only real complaint.
OVERALL:
These are great. I wish they were slightly thicker, but they're more or less what you would expect. Just going to take off a star since the pads seem like they were originally intended for use as "4".. but again, I'm just nitpicking.
Solid 4/5.

I bought these to expand my existing gym space. They worked as expected and enabled me to use a different layout for my exercise machines (water rower, Nordic track Treadmill, and Peloton Bike). They mated perfectly with the original flooring exercise mats.

Have been using it for a month and mats have held up great. Have not had any issue and it covers enough space for a workout bench and still have extra space for other workout space
