It was broke when I got it on the part where you mount it. I put it outside on my fish fillet table. I might use it for something some day.

I purchased this grinder to make home-made cat food. The grinder sent to me was either a return or the manufacturer did not do good quality control. The box I received was missing the thumbscrew so I couldn't attach the handle, the blade rusted almost immediately after washing for the first time and the retaining ring would not screw on securely so it would pop off when grinding. The rest of the grinder seemed of good quality, but the most important parts were horrible. Best Buy's shipping and customer service were excellent; it was shipped to my local store two days early and I was able to return it easily.

It's like the one my parents had from years ago. It's heavy duty. I was debating on this one or the upright one with a clamp. I should have went with the one with the clamp. It's to difficult to hold the grinder in place on the counter and turn the crank without the grinder moving all over the place. Unless you can bolt this down so it doesn't move when grinding the meat go with the upright one with the counter clamp

Only down fall is how to secure it I wish there was like a clamp

Doesn't work tried many times... I can't returns cause i throw the box.:(
