The unit works as it should. The downfall is the instructions that comes with it. They don't make much sense but the unit itself is worth the money

Did not work very well at first and stopped working at all after 3rd time using. Had to return it for refund. It was very hard to understand how to use the unit even before first usage.

Bought this in October 2016, went to use it for the first time in February 2017 and it did not go on. Double checked everything and reread all instructions and just doesn't go on. It was past Best Buy return policy, so I emailed Chefman and it has been a week with no reply. I checked my junkmail and everything. If you buy this, test it right away!

Too much oil needed to work properly. Very hard to clean.

I wasn't happy with my purchase cause it didn't work:( seems like everytime I order from you guys I'm very very disappointed! I had my food prepared and the grease wasn't heating up.. my husband tried everything.. but the thing was broke and we couldn't order another one because it was out of stock :) so thumbs down

Purchased this online and I got one someone had returned. The manufactures box was folded up inside a cardboard box. The fryer had bent and broken parts. Return it to the store and they ordered me a new one which was fine.

Fryer does what it advertises. A basic no frills fryer that is use to setup and use. Very satisfied with use.

We bought this last week for use over the weekend. It was shipped by Best Buy in its own packaging, with the item clearly displayed on the box, with no tape securing the box closed. Luckily, all of the components were present and undamaged. This fryer does its job - there are three drainage baskets (two small that you can use side-by-side and one larger one), and the appropriate handles for each. We tested it first by frying tater tots and pierogis (an acquired taste). It took a while for it to heat up initially (maybe 10 minutes... perhaps we need to turn up the heat higher at the onset of cooking), but once it's hot, it does its job very well.
