This item is great. Since using it, my laptop has not overheated. It's sturdy (made of metal) and the fan is very quiet. I no longer need to stop what I'm working on to allow the laptop to cool down. I highly recommend this item.

Very happy with this cool pad. The USB adapter works well. Mesh top helps ventilate.

I've only had this for a couple weeks but it's working out nicely. I used to have a fan blowing on the laptop but since it got cold, I needed something that wasn't blowing on me directly. This was it! It's working great.

product is great in theory and the specs wouldve met my needs in positioning the cooler between my laptop and my furinno lap desk but i was disappointed to find that it simply doesnt have any cooling effect whatsoever on my hp envy 15 (0 degrees difference in several controlled tests at different levels of cpu load)

It has lowered the temp on my laptop and seems to be working very nicely.

The fan on this will make a very noticeable improvement on laptop cooling. Unfortunately the bottom of the pad has flimsy plastic spars that can bend under the weight of a 17 inch gaming laptop if it is on your lap. This can cause the fan to rub against them making a horrible noise. Mine bent so badly that at one point the fan blade got caught on the one of the spars. I had to break off the opposite fan blades to keep the fan counter-weighted properly. If you plan on using this for tabletop only then it is a great deal for less than 20 dollars but if your laptop is heavy and you plan on putting it on your lap you would definitely want something sturdier.

It definitely cools down the computer and makes my laptop work more efficiently. However, I bought it because it said "quiet" fan but it was so loud that I returned it. If the noise does not bother you then it's a pretty good cooling pad for your laptop.

got it,plug it in to see if it worked, shut down my laptop, has short and did the some thing on an other laptop. now i just have a have the laptop sit on it but don't have it plugged in.

This cooling fan keeps my laptop cool every time i use it and i like how it has a usb park you can plug in a flash drive and i use this cooling fan every time i use my laptop and i recommend \getting this cooling fan cause it does the job and it keeps your laptop cool every time so it you are looking for a cooling fan get this one

It does what it's supposed to. It's not to bulky and has hight adjustment. My laptop is significantly cooler when gaming

This is a very good cooler and puts out much more cooling then my old Belkin with two small fans. However, the black grill surface is somewhat slick and your laptop could slip off if you are not careful. Would be better if the top had a non-skid surface.

I switched to this cooling pad after using the Cooler Master U3 for my gaming laptop. I found the U3 effective, but cumbersome to move and impossible to pack away in my laptop case. The X-Slim is much more portable and tucks neatly into the case. I was initially weary about investing in a pad with only one central fan, as my laptop tends to have hot spots around the edges, but the X-Slim's fan is so large it reaches all the major trouble zones. The pad is a little smaller than I anticipated, so my 17" laptop hangs over the edges a bit. It doesn't effect stability, however. The fan is also a louder than the three fans of the U3, but it is a small price to pay for effective cooling. This pad keeps my computer cool even while running games at their highest settings. For the price, it really is one of the best pads on the market.

Very slim doesn't raise the laptop to an uncomfortable height. Very quiet.

This is a great laptop chill pad, I'd recommend it to anyone. It has a huge central fan that keeps your laptop chill anywhere, and it's so slim and portable you can take it anywhere. Cord storage is great, but the USB extension does stick out a bit from the laptop when plugged in. For $20, this can't be beat!

This is the perfect cooling pad for my HP Pavilion G6! Has a very open frame to allow for maximum air flow and the fan is over half the size. Also looks sleek which is a plus. Love it, works great and keeps my lap cool also!
