I had a Corsair K57 RGB for years, but needed a a smaller keyboard. Picked this one up and not looking back. Fantastic keyboard! Lighting is better than the K57 and the K70 key switches are outstanding. Using it wired and gaming is nicer as well. Have not tried gaming with it wireless yet. You can easily customize it in Icue to an unbelievable level. Wrist rest is very nice. Well worth the price.

The tactile switches feel perfect for typing and gaming. The wrist rest that came in the box is a nice addition and helps a lot while working/gaming for long hours.

This keyboard has been perfect for my use case. A quiet tactile feel from the keys while also seamlessly connecting to any device with the 2.4ghz adapter. But also being flexible with a Bluetooth connection.

Great feeling TKL KB and looks amazing

Corsair keyboards have always been my 1st go to and the K70 TKL is no exception. As you can see in a pic I posted I also use the K95 Platinum but that has been switched to non-gaming use. The K70 looks and feels great while gaming. Whether it's CoD, D4 or WoW it performs top notch. In the box is the KB itself, USB C to A cable, Slipstream USB A receiver and a surprisingly comfortable magnetic wrist rest. As I have a lot of Corsair components, I already had iCue installed. Once I plugged in the USB receiver and charged the KB, all I had to do was switch it to wireless mode and it paired automatically. After a couple of Firmware updates, I was good to go. I love the brushed aluminum look. It has got some heft to it and doesn't feel cheap at all even though the base is plastic. Out of the box, it took me about 2 hours to get a full charge (Corsair claims if at 0% it takes roughly 4 hours for a full charge) and it has lasted a full week so far. I am using it it wireless 2.4ghz mode with RGB off and the battery life has yet to leave green. According to Corsair the KB can last up to 39 hours with RGB on at 100% brightness, 890 hrs in wireless mode with RGB off and 2400 hrs in BT mode with RGB off. That is insane battery life. What I like more against my K95 Platinum is the new feel. It still has the amazing feeling of the red switches but with noticeably less noise per keystroke. Everything is super responsive and I experience no lag either plugged in or in wireless mode. You can turn on Game Mode which claims to reduce latency even more (I can't tell) and also disable the Windows Key. The new look on the top right of the KB are the Game Mode button, iCue Shortcut (can be customized) and the multi function control dial (I prefer it at default - Volume up/down and mute). Downloading iCue will let you customize the KB and layout even more. From lightning effects to shortcuts to macros. As I am typing this entire review with the K70, I can say, if you want a TKL gaming KB then Corsair cannot do you wrong. Super customizable, insane battery life, comfort and feel. What more can you ask for?

Mechanical, portable and easy to use everywhere

Off the top, this is a really nice, portable and versatile keyboard. There's not much to dislike here. I'd say my only minor complaint would be a lack of a keypad, but for the size and also being a keyboard that's easy to connect to so many devices, I'd take the hit for the portability. Setup is a breeze no matter how you want to use it. There's an included "slipstream" wireless 2.4ghz dongle that you can plug into your PC and just use the keyboard straight away (just toggle the power switch to the correct side of the 3-way switch). You can also connect the keyboard to 3 separate bluetooth devices. You can even connect to your PS4/5 (which makes me wish more PS4/5 games supported mouse and keyboard controls). The wireless dongle is definitely the easiest way to set up and is great for accessing things outside of your operating system like your system bios. But wait, there's more! You can ALSO connect in wired mode for ANOTHER connection type. This is how I'm currently set up. I can connect with the USB-C cable to my main gaming PC for the best connection. Then I can connect with the Bluetooth connection mode to my iPhone, iPad and MacMini. And THEN, I can still use the wireless dongle to connect to another computer or laptop or anything else that accepts a USB keyboard. I keep stumbling across more versatility in this keyboard. Keys feel pretty good. I'm used to silver speed switches so the red keys feel a little different to me but they don't feel back. There's some sound dampening going on but it's pretty muted and minor. I like the sound of my silver switches and these sound similar, just a bit more muted. If you're looking for a really clicky keyboard, look into other switches. Build quality is exceptional. The keyboard as a whole feels very sturdy and has some heft to it while still maintaining a fairly small footprint. The included wrist rest is nice and comfortable and also attaches and detaches really easily. It's magnetic and I felt like the connection was really weak when I first attached it. I just assumed it would be able to slide around and disconnect whenever. I have not had that issue with actual usage, though. The weight of your wrists holds it down while the grippy pads on the bottle do a good job to keep it in place. iCue software can be used to customize a lot of things like the lighting and the functional buttons/dials in the upper right. But the best thing is you don't NEED to use iCue to do most things. I don't hate the iCue software, unlike a lot of other peripheral software, but it's really nice that you just don't need it if you don't need it. If you're ok with the defaults, then you're all set. There's still plenty of options to customize via built in keystroke combos. You can cycle through 10 of their built in lighting profiles straight from the keyboard without using iCue at all. When enabling "Gaming Mode", it disables the Windows key and sets the lighting to a solid color. I haven't found a way to change this color without iCue, though. It defaults to red, so at least it's easy to see that you have gaming mode enabled. There's just a lot of options whether you have iCue installed or not (which makes it super nice when you're using the keyboard with your iPad or iPhone or another non-computer device. Bottom line here, I've been using a Corsair K95 with Silver switches for a really long time. I really like it. It still works fine. But using this keyboard for a short time and I'm starting to turn around. I think I'm going to stick with this for my daily driver. The fact that I can just use it as pretty much every keyboard I need and easily just unplug it to take it to another device means I'm always using the keyboard I'm accustomed to and that's really awesome. I might just grab myself a separate keypad for my PC but I might just not feel like I need it. I like how this keyboard feels to type on as well as how versatile it is so I'd recommend you give it a look if you're looking for the same thing and this is in your price range.

Fast, Quiet, Great RGB, Great TKL with Extra Keys

I have been using the Corsair K70 Core TKL Wireless for a few days now. It's a fast, quiet, RGB gaming keyboard made better by being a TKL with a few extra keys. The excellent Corsair iCue software gives all the customizations you need, and the included wrist pad/support is actually a very nice extra. What's in the box - Corsair TKL K70 Wireless - Slipstream Wireless Dongle - USB A to USB C cable - wrist pad/support (tip, it's underneath the cardboard supporting the keyboard) First Impressions Corsair make good gear. Full stop. The K70 Wireless TKL is no exception. It has a great weight, sits neatly on your desk, and looks premium. What you notice first is that while it's a TKL keyboard it's technically a TKL+ because the K70 has up/down arrow keys, Ins, Del, Home, End, PgUp, PgDn as well as a 2 custom buttons and a volume control. The K70 is still a very compact keyboard and smaller than a full ten-key keyboard. More on the extra keys later. Setup Setup is easy. Download the Corsair iCue app (free, hit skip on the Corsair website if asked for your email as no registration required) and follow the prompts. I always say that the Cosair iCue app is one of the better apps out there, regular updates, clean UI. First setup you will be prompted for firmware updates for the slipstream dongle and then the keyboard. The keyboard update requires the USB cable. I only had one hiccup which is a had an older wired Corsair keyboard connected at the same time - once I unplugged that, everything went smooth. In Use There's a lot to test - typing, gameplay, customizations include RGB, speed. Typing, the keys are MLX Red V2s. Corsair rate them with 4mm travel. What is notable is Corsair has set the keys up with a dampener - so there's no's clack clack you get with typical. mechanical keyboards. In use, you get fast responses (Corsair rate the polling at 1000Hz) and great travel but I did find that set with the stand up, I was more comfortable using the included magnetically attached wrist support. I did try using without the wrist support, but it was just more comfortable with it. It's also worth noting that the extra custom keys, there's a media, game mode, and volume control - these can be customized with the iCue software to adjust polling rates, keyboard backlights, volume, and more. What's good The K70 is fast and quiet, I like the quiet. Less likely to be judged for late night game sessions! The iCue software continues to be exceptional. The RGB is great and you can literally customize every single key - great if you're hyper obsessed. My key color pattern screenshot is included. I will see the extra keys make this a great mixed-use keyboard. I use this on my gaming desktop (i9-13th Gen, 3050) but if you occasionally need something that can be used for work the extra keys are useful. What's not so good On two of my keys (Esc and PgUp) the RGB backlights seemed to be not coming through the key characters. This is not a backlight issue (I checked) and impossible for me to photograph (I tried!) I think it's the narrowness of the E in ESC and the P in PgUp that give the illusion. It's not a deal breaker, just something I noticed and not a fault or complaint. It seems to be more noticeable on certain RGB color combinations. Overall LOVE the Corsair K70 TKL. Honestly, it's hard to ever fault Corsair as their focus on quality and great iCue software is always a winner. If you're after a TKL but want something with a bit more, this is a great keyboard.

The Corsair K70 Core TKL Wireless keyboard is the latest iteration of this popular series. As a current K70 wired user, I would say overall this would be an incremental improvement over the former. And quite obviously the main improvement of the new K70 core is the addition of being wireless capable. In addition to having the usual USB wired connection this keyboard , Bluetooth connectivity is added as well as a dongle. In addition, support for Corsair’s redesigned/renamed portal iCue software is added. And on the top right of the keyboard, one can find physical media control not present in previous iterations. And Corsair was kind enough to include a wrist pad with the keyboard. So, what’s included in the box. Of course the keyboard itself, the wrist pad, a USB C cable a dongle which boasts super fast speeds, and warranty and safety guidelines. Unfortunately, there is no manual nor a quick start guide. For those familiar with Corsair product or gaming keyboards in general this shouldn’t be a big deal. But for new gamers than can be a source of frustration. And upon checking the Corsair website, I also couldn’t find any documentation for this keyboard. And while this keyboard is new, this still should be a reason not to come out with documentation whether printed or online. Performance of this keyboard when wired is at par with the wired version but the wireless connection is likewise comparable to the wired version. And when compared to your regular wireless keyboard. And this keyboard like most Corsair keyboards live up to what it claims. And these include minimal input lag whether wired or wireless and sound dampening. This keyboard is fairly quiet but not totally quiet. So the million dollar question is, should you upgrade? If wireless is not your priority, then this keayboard is not for you. But if wireless is a priority, then by all means get this keyboard. But unfortunately, due to the lack of documentation, I would deduct one star from this keyboard.

----- SUMMARY ----- Verdict: The Corsair K70 CORE TKL Wireless Mechanical Gaming Keyboard is an excellent choice for gamers who demand the best. With its sleek design, customizable RGB lighting, Corsair's MLX Red v2 linear switches, Multi-Function Dial, impressive 1,000Hz polling rate, and low-latency Slipstream Wireless connection, this keyboard offers a combination of performance, features, and style that is unmatched in its class. While the RGB lighting can significantly reduce battery life, the outstanding battery life with RGB lighting off and the option for Bluetooth connectivity make this keyboard a versatile and convenient option for both gaming and everyday use. Overall, the Corsair K70 CORE TKL Wireless Mechanical Gaming Keyboard is a top-tier choice for gamers looking for a premium wireless keyboard. Pros: - Sleek and modern design - Maximizes desk space - Dedicated function and arrow keys - Customizable RGB lighting - Corsair's new MLX Red v2 linear switches - Multi-Function Dial - Impressive 1,000Hz polling rate - FlashTap technology - Low-latency Slipstream Wireless connection - Bluetooth connectivity - Outstanding battery life Cons: - RGB lighting significantly reduces battery life ----- DETAILS ----- Design: The Corsair K70 CORE TKL Wireless Mechanical Gaming Keyboard's sleek and modern design exudes elegance. The aluminum top plate and detachable magnetic cushioned palm rest make it look and feel like a premium product. Despite being a tenkeyless keyboard, it maximizes desk space while still incorporating essential function keys and shortcuts. As a user of smaller keyboards, I’ve learned to appreciate the dedicated function and arrow keys, which significantly enhance my productivity and efficiency. The customizable RGB lighting adds a personal touch and vibrancy to my workstation or gaming setup, making it not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing. Features: Beyond the customizable RGB lighting, which can be controlled down to each key, the Corsair K70 CORE TKL keyboard also boasts several other features that have greatly enhanced my gaming and typing experience. One of the standout features for me is the Corsair's new MLX Red v2 linear switches. They're pre-lubricated, which makes for smooth keystrokes and the updated stem structure ensures minimal wiggle. This has made typing and fast-paced gaming much more comfortable and enjoyable for me. Another feature I appreciate is the Multi-Function Dial in the top right corner. It's incredibly versatile and allows me to control volume, music playback, and more with ease. The two buttons to the left of the dial are also very useful. The Media Button is programmable using iCUE software, so I can customize it to my liking, and the Game Mode Button deactivates keyboard effects that could introduce latency and disables keys like the Windows button to prevent accidental presses during gameplay. I love that these buttons are cleverly positioned in an empty space, so they don't add any unnecessary bulk to the keyboard. Performance: As a gamer, I can tell you that the Corsair K70 CORE TKL is a game-changer. Its impressive 1,000Hz polling rate ensures that my inputs are registered instantly, providing me with an unparalleled level of precision and control. The FlashTap technology is pretty cool, enabling me to perform evasive maneuvers like counter-strafing and jiggle-peeking with ease, giving me a significant competitive advantage. Whether I choose to connect wirelessly via the low-latency Slipstream Wireless connection or opt for the convenience of Bluetooth, I can trust the K70 CORE TKL to deliver a seamless and responsive gaming experience every time. Battery Life: I’ve been thoroughly impressed with the battery life of the Corsair K70 CORE TKL keyboard. Corsair claims you can get about 890 hours of Slipstream Wireless use on a single charge with RGB lighting off. That’s pretty outstanding compared to other wireless gaming keyboards I’ve seen on the market. I’ve been loosely tracking my hours of use throughout work and gaming sessions, and that claim seems pretty spot on. With RGB lighting on at 100% brightness, you’re looking at around 35-40 hours based on my experience, a significant reduction but in line with other wireless RGB keyboards. ----- WHAT’S IN THE BOX ----- 1 x K70 CORE TKL Wireless RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard 1 x Detachable Magnetic Cushioned Palm Rest 1 x Braided USB Type-C Cable 1 x USB Wireless Receiver 1 x Safety Leaflet 1 x Warranty Card

This is the keyboard for gaming. Without the number key it makes more space to use the mouse. This keyboard is fully customizable. When you download the application on the computer, you can customize the colors on the keyboard and the buttons. This keyboard has a turn knob that can be used for volume or customized for another use. There is also an shortcut button that can be customized to open an app when pressed. The keyboard can be connected to any computer, console or other device via USB C, Bluetooth or wireless connection. Battery can last depending on its use with the background lights and setup. Total battery charge takes about Five (5) Hours. The manufacturer states the charge can last up to 39 hours at 100% brightness. The keyboard is heavy where you can tell that is well made. The typing is quiet and consistent. Included in the box is the keyboard the wrist rest, a Bluetooth dongle and a USB-C to USB-C cable. Overall, this keyboard is a value for the price. Paired up with a gaming mouse, this keyboard completes any gaming setup.

Corsair K70 Core TKL Gaming Keyboard

The Corsair K70 Core TKL is a slim and high-performance keyboard that combines style, functionality, and portability. The tenkeyless factor allows this keyboard to save space without compromising on performance, and it's one of the most desired keyboards for gamers and professionals alike. The aluminum framework is sturdy and will last for a long time. The keyboard mechanical switches are clicky, satisfying, and quick, which feels amazing while gaming or typing. Also, RGB lighting is vibrant and completely customizable with Corsair's iCUE software, adding a dynamic aesthetic to your setup. But the wireless connectivity is a little lacking. Although the keyboard supports connection via USB dongle for low-latency performance, I experienced persistent problems with the dongle either not connecting or failing to maintain a stable link. After some troubleshooting with no success, I had to resort to Bluetooth mode to use the keyboard wirelessly. While Bluetooth suffices for most tasks, it does not quite offer the same latency-free experience needed in competitive gaming. Despite this connectivity hiccup, the Corsair K70 Core TKL remains an excellent keyboard for its build quality, features, and typing feel. If Corsair resolves the dongle connectivity issues in a future update or release, this keyboard would easily be among the best in its class. Until then, it’s worth considering if you’re okay with the occasional need to switch to Bluetooth.

This Corsair keyboard is an absolute treat to type on. The keystrokes are silky smooth, but still provide that satisfying pushback you expect with a mechanical keyboard. The sound-dampening design significantly reduces keystroke noise. However, it's still louder than a non-mechanical keyboard, though not deafeningly loud. As someone who works from home, I often have to type very softly during work calls to avoid comments about the noise. This keyboard is going to help solve that issue. I currently have the Corsair M75 mouse and was excited to combine both the keyboard and mouse to a single receiver using slipstream technology. Unfortunately, I was unable to make this work. I suspect the keyboard needs an additional update before I'll be able to pair the two devices. Inside the iCue app, the two devices say they are connected to the single slipstream receiver, but in reality, the keyboard would not work when paired to the same receiver as the mouse. The Flashtap technology is fascinating, and I can't wait to use it more when I switch to a game where I can utilize it. Basically, you can press two keys and designate which key gets priority, creating a key sequence. The iCue app is informative and useful, but can also feel a bit clunky at times. I love that I can monitor my computer vitals and add widgets for my graphics card, etc. However, I struggled with getting the app to size correctly on my 49” ultra-wide monitor and couldn't find any settings to change the window size, creating some odd scrolling issues. The keyboard itself is an amazing device. It screams quality and has a great weight. The supports are incredibly sturdy, wide, and won’t slip around the desk. I love the option to use either hardwire, slipstream, or Bluetooth. The size of the board feels compact but is full-sized at the same time. Overall, a really great keyboard.

First things first. DO NOT throw away the packaging. The dongle is black. The packaging is black. The dongle is on the right side of the packaging above the USB cable in a small cutout that is way too easy to miss. Save yourself some dumpster diving! First BIG improvement from other K series I have used, the keycaps let the light shine through. Transparent letters make a world of difference. My biggest beef with the keyboard is the wrist rest. The magnets are not very strong, so it will slide on you if you are in a heated exchange. This is both good and bad. My monster hands require me to adjust the wrist rest to the left about an inch, otherwise my palm slips off the rest. There is not much you can't adjust. This is a well designed keyboard and iCue management software gives you all the options you need to change what you want. You have 5 onboard storage slots for saving your configs. There is no limitations to what can be stored, unlike other vendors. You also have all the preprogrammed modes you can run through. The saved configs are done through the iCue application. You do not need to have the software running if you use a KVM to switch machines. Just need iCue installed on one machine. Your saved configs are usable even over BT or wireless configuration. You need to use the USB cable to apply changes or modify the saved configs. You can save a connection to 3 BT devices, one wireless dongle and also have USB cable option. Plenty of ways to connect. Battery life seems very good. It takes a couple hours plugged in while in use to fully charge. The enter key lets you know the status of your charge. The FN keys and many onboard keys or knobs allow you to change what your settings are. I do find the FN key being on the right a little unusual for some reason. The key lock light, BT/wireless light and download light are beside the esc key. Odd placement there as well. Key travel is almost perfect. Spacing is ideal. I am not hitting multiple keys with my monster hands like I did my previous keyboard. Overall, I absolutely am loving this keyboard, even if it did not have the wireless capabilities. Wireless is just icing on the cake. I will be using this with my daily PC and grab it when I am using the streaming laptop in the living room. So much easier not having to get up to type an address in for what we are planning on watching. The negatives are not enough to lower below 5 stars. One thing I do wish, the back light could be just a little brighter.

The Corsair K70 core tkl keyboard is the perfect balance of a keyboard as it is more functional than a 60% keyboard but does not take up the same desk space as a 100% size keyboard. The keys are responsive, wireless connectivity is a plus, and the RGB lighting is top notch and easily controlled by the iCue software. You really cannot go wrong with this device. I resisted anything less than a 100% keyboard size for years and I am glad I finally tried this device. It is worth the cost and performs exceptionally well.

Feels really nice to type on, not loud like most other mechanical keyboards but still has that nice 'clicky' feeling. Feels smooth too. Excellent alternative to fit in Corsairs discontinued K63 Lapboard also. Is the perfect width so fits fine, just attach some velcro to prevent it from sliding out of the Lapboard. Hopefully battery life holds up well as advertised. Wish the Function keys were slightly higher but not a big deal.

One of the best keyboards I’ve purchased to far. It feels great and comfortable, it’s very responsive and has a very aesthetic noise. Highly recommend!!!

I would recommend this to a friend
