For the last week, I've been testing out the 32GB Crucial DDR5 Pro series overclocking edition RAM. This RAM is overclockable if your motherboard supports XMP 3.0 or AMD EXPO. Unfortunately, I couldn't test the overclocking functionality because that setting locked on my motherboard. However, even at 5600MT/s, the RAM performed fantastically. Finding the right RAM for a gaming computer can be tricky, especially with proprietary parts from some manufacturers. You might encounter issues like RAM that's too thick or incompatible with your motherboard's speeds. In my case, none of that was a problem. I'm happy to report that this RAM is compatible with my Alienware Aurora R16. As for performance, these sticks are impressive. My desktop and games booted with noticeably faster load times. Additionally, 32GB seems to be a sweet spot for compatibility with any game, program, or running AI. Here are some things I love about this RAM: Installation took only seconds. It's compatible with lower speeds. It lacks gaudy RGB lights, which some users might prefer. The modules are encased in stylish aluminum heat spreaders instead of being bare. Overall, I'm 100% satisfied with this product and believe you would be too.

Fast, Easy way to Boost your PC’s Performance

Increasing your PC’s memory is a great way to improve its performance. Using High-speed memory is even better. However; what you get needs to be suitable for your PC. If the Crucial Pro memory is compatible with your gaming rig, you will see performance gains in everyting you ask your rig to do. Highlights: * Fast. * Sleek and clean appearance. Room for Improvement: * None. Setup: Standard installation for memory - power down your rig, pop open the case, insert memory into open slots, reverse. Depending on your motherboard, you may need to make adjustments in the BIOS to maximize compatibility. Usage: My gaming rig has an AMD Ryzen 9 7950 16-Core processor and 4 DIMM slots. Before installing this Crucial memory, I had 2x32GB UDIMMs from another brand and 2 open slots for more memory. After adding this memory, my PC wouldn’t boot. Apparently, the two brands of memory have slightly different timings and my board couldn’t handle the disparity. Once I removed my other 64GB so the different timings were gone, this 32GB worked great. That incompatibility is not a comment on this memory but rather something that you have to be aware of - that your motherboard may or may not be compatible with memory of varying speeds. I’ve included some screenshots of the various specs so you can check for suitability before buying and installing. Overall: Rest assured that if this memory works with your board and any other installed memory, it will work great. It’s fast! It doesn’t have any fancy LED lighting but even if your case is clear, it’ll look sleek and clean. Plus, a limited lifetime warranty helps if you ever have a problem.

Overview The Crucial DDR5-6000 Desktop Memory Kit is part of Crucial's new “Overclocking Edition” Pro series, which is designed for high performance and overclocking enthusiasts. With a capacity of 32GB (2 x 16GB), this kit is ideal for demanding applications, including 4K video editing, gaming, and multitasking. This 32GB set offers a blend of high speed, low latency, and robust stability, making it an excellent choice for users seeking to maximize their system's potential. Performance The DDR5-6000 memory operates at a frequency of 6000 MT/s, providing a significant boost in data transfer rates compared to previous generations of DDR memory. This high speed translates to faster load times, smoother multitasking, and enhanced performance in memory-intensive applications. Whether you’re rendering 4K videos, running virtual machines, or engaging in high-end gaming, this memory kit ensures your system runs efficiently and responsively. Latency With timings of 36-38-38-80, the Crucial DDR5-6000 balances speed with latency. The CAS latency (CL) of 36 clocks ensures quick access to data, which is crucial for performance-sensitive tasks. The low latency is particularly beneficial for real-time applications and gaming, where every millisecond counts. This combination of high frequency and low latency provides an optimal performance profile for a wide range of uses. It’s always important to have a happy marriage between RAM’s frequency and latency, and Crucial delivers beautifully on this front. It’s not the fastest speed, and it’s not the lowest latency – instead, it is an ideal middle ground for demanding workloads and gamers. Stability Stability is paramount in high-performance systems, and the Crucial DDR5-6000 delivers on this front. It supports Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO, making it easy to achieve the best performance settings with minimal effort. The modules are built with high-quality components (Micron memory chips are some of the best out there) and are rigorously tested to ensure reliability. This ensures that the RAM operates smoothly even under heavy loads and overclocked conditions. I’ve used Micron/Crucial RAM in my servers, desktops, and laptops, so they’re one of my top picks for stability and reliability. Specs/Features • Capacity: 32GB (2 x 16GB) • Speed: 6000 MT/s • Timings: 36-38-38-80 • Voltage: 1.35V • Compatibility: Intel 12th & 14th Gen CPUs, AMD Ryzen 7000 Series CPUs • Profile Support: Intel XMP 3.0 Ready, AMD EXPO • Warranty: Limited Lifetime Warranty Installation Crucial includes a QR code on the packaging which leads to a guide on how to to replace or install RAM on a desktop computer. Crucial's Pro 32GB Overclocking Edition has been released. The box includes the 2 sticks of DDR5 RAM. The RAM comes with a lifetime warranty. PROS: ----------- * Power off, unplug, discharge yourself, and PLUG-n-PLAY. Installation is simple, and it just works. My RAM storage jumped from 32GB to 64GB - but make sure if you have 4 slots that you pair them up correctly for optimal performance. * 6000 MT/s. After connecting to my BIOS, this was verified being just under that value. * Lifetime warranty. You can't go wrong here. * Latency is exceptional - literally real-time action. CONS: ----------- * None - it just works. OTHER OBSERVATIONS: ----------- * My desktop was already lightning fast, so it's difficult to see a noticeable difference to the human eye. After seeing what my PC is telling me, you can only trust your diagnostics. * Make sure you have the correct chipset to fully utilize the power of this RAM set. CONCLUSION: ===================== This is a simple product to install, and one that will give you that added boost while gaming or creating hard-core video creation content. The speed is great with PC diagnostics data that back it up. The lifetime warranty that Crucial offers is best-in-class as well. Great job on an awesome product, Crucial.

So I had 32g of memory and adding this two sticks was painless. My motherboard has two grey and two black memory slots the existing took up the grey and these awesome new crucial ddr5 took up the black slots. At first I was wondering if it would work as my existing were not as powerful or overclocked as these crucial ones. But I had zero issues with the setup. Everything worked on the first try and now I have 64g of ram and the computer lists the crucial as the memory probably because they are the most prominent or powerful? Might be wrong as I’m not that advanced on new pcs to know lol. It’s hard for me to comment on performance gains as I don’t stress out my cpu enough by multitasking to see the benefits but I can say that 64gigs will come in handy when I start doing TikTok videos and I have multiple windows open. For now I’m just happy at how easy the installing was and how my pc booted up right away without issue. I love my new memory and it can only increase my overall performance. I included some pictures of my install.

This Crucial Pro Overclocking 32GB Kit (2x16GB) 6000 MT/s DDR5-6000 UDIMM Desktop Memory is from one of the most recognized memory manufacturers and one of the largest semiconductors makers in the world, Micron. They’ve been in business for as long as I can remember and produce quality products that last a long time. They really stand behind their products such as this professional series memory kit that comes with a limited lifetime warranty. I already had 32 GB of memory in my Asus ROG gaming system but only running at 5600 MT/s. Once I populated the remaining 2 memory slots, it detected the additional memory but ran it at the lower speed of the stock memory. I then removed the slower memory and enabled XMP 3.0 in the BIOS and rebooted with just the new Crucial 6000 memory. It automatically set it at the higher frequency and all the right timings enabling the best performance out of my Intel core i7-14700 CPU. That translated into gaming at higher frame rates or rendering graphic designs more smoothly. This memory runs very stable at 6000 MT/s CAS Level 36 but is also downward compatible to lower speeds of 5200 or 5600 if you have an earlier, less capable motherboard that can’t handle 6000 or a stable voltage. It also supports the performance recovery and mild overclocking for Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO technology. All in all, this a reliable, Pro Series choice, mildly overclocked at a reasonable price, especially when on-sale, so I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to a friend.

    Solid Set of RAM Modules

This is a great set of RAM modules. The black shrouds have a nice understated look and should look good in most builds. The installation is the same as any other RAM stick, though a QR code printed on the packaging brings you to a page on Crucial’s website with information on the basic install process. I installed these into an ASUS motherboard and they were initially recognized as 5600 MHz, though enabling XMP in my BIOS settings turned that into the advertised 6000 MHz. It’s always good to verify the memory settings in your PC BIOS anyway, but remember to also enable XMP if you have Intel and EXPO if you have AMD. The performance so far has been solid and stable. 6000 MHz isn't the fastest DDR5 RAM you can buy, but it's up to the point where you'd see diminishing returns and even problems going beyond that speed on certain CPU's. As far as DDR5 RAM goes I can’t find anything to fault with the Crucial Pro’s. They look great, they’re plenty fast, and in general they’re a good value. They also come with a ‘Limited Lifetime’ warranty, which should cover you in the event that they fail at some point in the future as long as you aren’t pushing them past their advertised speeds.

Test System Specs: MSI Z790 Gaming Pro Wifi Intel i9-1400KF Crucial T500 M.2 Gen4 2TB ASUS RTX 4090 TUF ***Crucial Pro 32GB (2PK 16GB) DDR5-6000*** The Crucial Pro 32GB (2PK 16GB) DDR5-6000 Overclock Edition installs just like any RAM. The heatsinks surrounding the DIMMS are meaty and clean. There are no frills, no RGB, just a clean matte black finish with the Crucial logo printed on one side. The aluminum heat spreader features a unique origami-based design that is both cool to the touch and aesthetically pleasing. I am proud to showcase this in my gaming rig. My MSI Z790 picked up the proper RAM speed of 6000MHz on profile 1 via XMP 3.0 (these modules also support AMD EXPO). I have a second profile set to 5600Mhz as a fallback. Booting into Windows 11 Pro confirmed the same speed (screenshots attached). Immediately after installation and confirming the speed, I entered into a 24 hour stress test via 3DMark. This test passed with flying colors, no errors, and a score of 99.8%. I then ran Passmark's Performance Test software using the Memory Mark test. the Crucial Pro 32GB (2PK 16GB) DDR5-6000 Overclock Edition received a score of 3965 and was placed in the 98% percentile compared to the rest of the world's results. I cannot honestly say that I notice any real world different in this RAM compared to the last RAM I was using in actual game play, but I can safely say it was nowhere near as fast or low-latency. Crucial states these memory modules perform 25% lower latency when comparing to Crucial's Pro DRAM plug-and-play 6000 modules, which is already an impressive task give this is out of the box. Given how fast this RAM registers on Memory Mark without being overclocked, how stable it runs, how clean it looks and for a very good price point, no one would go wrong installing this into their systems. White it's never the absolute fastest products on the market, Crucial has always struck a balance between real life usable where it counts and extremely stable. Crucial is a brand I trust in my systems and I have no doubt the Crucial Pro 32GB (2PK 16GB) DDR5-6000 Overclock Edition will be installed in my system for a long time into the future. I appreciate the opportunity Crucial gave me to test and review this RAM and I will certainly be adding it to my recommendations list.

Sweet DDR5 6000 MHZ speed memory

If your looking for some straight forward out of the box speed without messing with timings and settings just a simple click of the EXPO settings to turn on the faster settings to squeeze all you can get for performance out of you machine, Look no further than this Crucial memory. I have owned several types of memory thought my computer building career but i always find myself going back to the number one name brand in memory Crucial. I had the little bit slower speed crucial memory in my system that at stock speed you would be at 4800 MHZ DDR5 memory. Overclocked you could get the slower memory to run stable at DDR5 5600 and that's pretty darn fast. But when i saw this 32 gig set that runs stable at 6000 MHZ with EXPO or XMP enabled i had to have it. And the ease of that upgrade was as simple as a 2 minute changeout of the memory modules boot into the bios click on the EXPO setting to turn it on reboot and checked and running stable at 6000 MHZ with EXPO on. The nice thing about this memory is you can use it in either an AMD build or an Intel build because it has the EXPO and XMP settings in the memory already for both systems. So its a simple change in your bios and you will be up and running with some very fast memory. They have some very sleek heat spreaders on them, Nothing flashy if your not looking for any type of lighting. So to sum it up if your looking for DDR5 Memory for either your AMD or intel build look no further here it is.

If you’re looking for a quick and easy upgrade to your new(er) gaming rig that makes a considerable difference, look no further than the Crucial Pro 32 GB (16GB x 2) DDR5-6000 UDIMM Overclock Edition RAM. I recently got a new gaming PC with the new 14th generation Intel i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce 4070 Super video card and the only thing that I really wasn’t impressed with was the memory that came with the rig. You could tell that was one of the areas the manufacturer skimped on to keep the price down and, as most gamers know, not only does the amount of RAM matter but, in my opinion, even more important is the speed of said RAM. To me, that 6000MT/s speed is what stood apart from other RAM I was shopping on the market as an upgrade to my gaming PC with its next-gen multi-core CPU. Not only does the upgrade in RAM speed help boost frame rates when gaming, it also has lower latency, about 25% lower than the plug-and-play non-overclocking edition, helping multitaskers improve productivity when not gaming. One of the best parts of RAM upgrades is they are one of the simplest upgrades to perform if you are not too tech savvy and is literally a simple swap out with the new RAM and no need to install any software. Upgrading the RAM and SSD are typically the first upgrades I do on a new rig because of the simplicity and how much of a boost you’ll get in gaming and would recommend it to anyone in the market with a compatible PC.

My system comes with overclocking by default. ASUS ROG Intel i74700F. So I ran Sandra benchmark software for its Overall Memory Score" with per-installed (SK Hynix DDR5-5600) vs Crucial Technology 16384 MB (DDR5-5600) - XMP 3.0. A very google apples-to-apples test. Hynix Rank #4,075 496.45GB/s 2.10kPT Performance Test Crucial Rank #3,457 526.35GB/s 2.15kPT This was a clear increase in speed without tuning anything. Visually Crucial comes with heat spreaders whereas the Hynix were bare DIMMs. Lower heat during overclocking for stability. Install was simple. You only need to ensure the DIMM is in the correct orientation using its notch as a visual guide. Once my benchmark was completed, I reinstalled the stock memory for a total of 64GB. System remained stable as expected. Crucial has always been known as premium memory and I was pleasantly re-assured that this was still the case. I always recommend maxing out desktop PC ram. It's a cheap upgrade and it makes a difference.

I've been using the Crucial Pro Overclocking 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 6000MHz C36 kit for a while now, and so far, it has worked exactly as intended with zero issues. RAM performed smoothly at its rated speed of 6000MHz. I haven’t experienced any crashes, instability, or memory-related errors, which speaks to its reliability. It supports intel xmp 3.0, which I do use. I like the matte black design and how sleek it is, clean and minimal. I think it's an alright-priced Memory stick, maybe a little higher on the speed would be nice, but everything else is perfectly great.

RAM has come a long way, especially since gaming as taken off as much as it has in the recently past. This 32GB (2x16GB) back is sure to impress those who are looking to build out their dream rig or need to bump up their current set up. I recently installed these into my existing rig and have noticed a jump in performance. These can easily been installed by a novice DIY'er or can be used by the experienced builder/gamer. They clicked into place with ease and gave me no "odd" wiggle after snapping in their slots. These DDR5's are are build to be overclocked and have shown to be do so with ease thus far and even exude 6000MT with ease. Crucial states that this is their "sweet spot". But also know that it is downclock-able too for those systems that do not support DDR5. If you are looking for DDR5 to fill up some empty slots in a new build or existing build then I would recommend Crucial Pro to get the job done. 25% lower latency means improved gameplay to those looking to gain an edge. Pairing this technology with 45+ years of experience in the industry, assures a sound product to propel you into round 2.

Eventually you will get to the point where you dont need RGB on everything. This is perfect for my build. If swapping out single stick or different speeds, you might have to change xmp in bios to auto, install new ram, then go back into bios and select correct speed. That might save people some troubleshooting that I had to do lol.
