Customer Ratings & Reviews

This SSD has been solid for storing and transferring files. The speeds are impressive and I haven’t had any issues with it. It’s compact enough to toss in my bag without taking up much space, and the build quality feels durable. Works exactly as advertised and I’ve had no complaints.

this 1 TB backup is tiny enough to easily take with me and large enough to cover any of my needs My first computer that I ownedd had a 20 MB memory, and I thoght I would never fill that up.

So far, this external backup is doing well. It loaded up quickly and I only plug it in intermittently when back up is needed. Hopefully it will continue to do well. I also like the small size so I can take it with me easily.

Very good item. I like the small size. Speedy and reliable

I use this device daily for gaming and I have had no issues with it whatsoever. No issues with reading and writing speed or lagging in my games.

Very easy to use. Seems well constructed and SSD feature is highly desirable. 1T provides plenty of storage space.

Super easy to use, plugs right in and within seconds, you have 2 terabytes of data along with transfer speeds quick enough to support just about any pc game! Very good option for the price point and super user friendly!

Great portable drive. Works perfect for transferring files. You do need a usb to type C cable, unless you have A type C on your pc

I am a simple fellow and I like small things versus bigger things. This SSD is a bit small, capacity-wise, as it is only 1 TB, rather than the 2 TB SSD's I already have, but this SSD seems faster than my other two Crucial SSD's. So I am pleased with this. I mainly bought it in order to use up a gift card that I had been keeping forever. This SSD is very portable and I do not see any negatives with it. So I am happy with my purchase - no regrets. And it was a good price around Thanksgiving time, when sale prices are abundant.

Very small but with good capacity for backups. Moderate speed.

Easy setup, fast access, no issues at all. It’s used every single day!

Very compact and easy to use, value for money. Quick readable data

Love that it is so small. Seems to be working just fine for my needs which is more storage space for photos. Formatting the SSD was easy as well. Very happy so far. Purchased another one for my daughter.

I am writing to provide feedback on my recent purchase of the Crucial X9 Pro 1TB External USB-C SSD. I have been utilizing this drive for podcast production and field recordings, and I am very impressed with its performance. The durability and efficiency of the unit are excellent, and I have already purchased a second drive as a result. Such a reliable product for professional recording needs.

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. A reliable external drive that can travel with me easily without taking room in my purse. It writes quickly and reads just as fast. I don't remember the name of the guy in the Union Square store who convinced me to get it (that the SSD was real and suited my needs better than another I was looking at), but I would love to thank him!

Compact. Fast read/write. Very sleek design. Highly recommend.

It’s compact so it’s perfect to travel with. It hasn’t given me any issues.

Very small and compact nice to travel with specially if you have cámaras and drones you can transfer thing in a flash

Very high speeds of read and write, it is way smaller than i thought as well.

This is a nice compact unit. Works as it should. You can easily carry it in a purse or pocket so you can access your data, or perform a back up no matter where you are.
