Compact design. So far so good. Easy and very convenient for home use. I have been using for cutting boneless short ribs to make Korean BBQ. It came out perfectly. Depends on the meat's size, you either have to freeze or thaw it at least a few hours before cutting. It works well when meat is about 1/2 frozen. DO NOT fully freeze, this meat slicer is designed for home use only (no bones or frozen meat), therefore, it won't work as the one at the butcher store. You can adjust the size while cutting, with 0 is for thinness and gradually increase to 15 is the thickess. DO NOT use for more than 10'. If you need to cut a large amount, stop and let the machine cooling down every 10'. I will try thin slices ribs eyes next time for hot pot shabu shabu and will updating my review.
Clean up is fast and easy. All moving parts can be easily disassembled for cleaning.
Would definitely recommend and I hope you find this information helpful.

This slicer works great for slicing roast for making beef jerky. I partially froze the roast, then it was easy to slice the thickness that I wanted. I've used it 3 times and love how easy it is to use and clean up.

Broken after several usage. I let it rest for several minutes for every 5 minutes of usage to avoid getting hot, but it still started smoking just after several usage, and the plastic gears wear out quickly. The blade stopped turning while. the motor was running.

This is definitely my new favorite small appliance. It can slice anything youd like into whatever thickness you want. Super easy to operate and clean. Its a little loud but the quality seems solid so I’m going for a 4/5. Also, note that it is top heavy by its design. So use it with caution!

I purchased because my favorite butcher retired & didn’t want the hassle of asking new owner. My family adores my turkey jerky & this year I decided some should be holiday gifted.
When i purchased frozen, my butcher took barely thawed breast he then sliced for me to jerky.
I tried as soon as received. It was easy as I expected. The slicer Worked like a charm!!! Easy to clean & jerkied. Ready for turkey breasts on sale.

Good quality slicer. I’ve used it on meat, cheese, and bread so far and has worked great. Can get pretty thin slices, which is nice for sandwiches, etc. overall very happy. Looking forward to cutting up some steaks, etc. knocked a star off because I noticed that, after washing the blade a few times, I found some gray/silver color that must have come off the machine onto the meat and cheese. Only really happened a couple of times though and haven’t noticed it since.

Excellent! Actually better than I expected. Easy to take apart to clean, very nice slicing capability. If I had to pick one thing that use improvement it would be that it is a little difficult to make very thin slices.

Okay but nothing special. I was looking for a chef's choice 615A but the prices were way more than what I wanted to spend for the minimum use that I intended. I found this unit on sale for an excellent price and purchased it based on the Cuisinart brand. I have used this for softer luncheon meat. It is difficult to get even slices. Blade speed is extremely slow and serrated blade tends to tear the softer meat. Realtively easy to clean and blade is easy to remove and reinstall. I would have liked a reference scale on the thickness lever instead of just guessing.

I like this food slicer. It does have a few minor issues, but over all it works well enough. One small issue is that the cutting size gap can be knocked out of adjustment while cutting if too much pressure is applied to the holder on the slide deck. Other than that, it is particularly good for beginning home use.

This is a good slicer for the most part. It is great for the deli meats I make at the house but the track is not long enough to slice pork belly into bacon strips. Otherwise, I recommend this slicer to anyone wanting to make their own deli meats or that wants to slice a boatload of paper-thin onion slices. I assume it will do that with ease.

Definitely easy to clean after use. This is NOT a commercial kitchen slicer, but it does the light slicing I need on occasion. Turkey breasts for sandwiches, salami for appetizers, semi-frozen beef for jerky all slice well on this slicer.

TO BE ABLE TO CUT TO YOUR PREFERRED CUT, WELL THERE'S NOTHING LIKE IT. SO I MUST SAY QUISINART KNOW'S WHAT THERE DOING. THIS BAD BOY CAN DEFINITELY DO SOME CUT'S !!! ENJOY !

Easy to use. I found it easy to clean. The thinness adjustment plate is a little flimsy. I found constant light pressure solved this issue. Great for bacon and cheese

Easy to set up and use food slicer, I sliced cheese, bread, and meat. For meat, it was easier to slice when frozen. Also need to get used to it, a light learning curve.

Not powerful enough for thin meat slice

I have had this meat slicer for a while and have used it on many different food products. I would say if you only need this product for cheese and vegetables, then this is the product for you.
We make our own roast beef, and several other cuts of meat for our kids lunches. This product is not powerful enough to cut the meat thin enough for lunch meat. I have tried many different cuts of meat and this machine will not cut it thin enough. It does cut the meat just fine when cutting thicker slices of meat.
