Easy to use by setting bowl on scale, automatically resetting weight to zero with the bowl in place (tare), and then add, re-tare, and aggregate additional ingredients. Bowl nests on scale disk, has a side pour edge to dump contents, and can go in the dishwasher. Sturdy, expected Cuisinart quality.

The scale is very easy to use, with large easily readable display either ounces or grams so you can measure out all your ingredients when cooking. The stainless steel bowl that comes with the scale fits perfectly onto the glass plate. And the good thing about this bowl is tapered for easy pouring.
