The Cuisinart is well built and everything clicks into place, that is about the only good things about it. On the first use i was only able to use it for about 15 mins and than it went belly up. The motor stopped working and now its basically a paper weight. When I looked inside the cup i also noticed that the blade motor assembly had become undone, this product was not dropped nor did it have any damage through shipping.

Cannot say anything yet about longevity, but working quite well. Powerful motor and the fact that the container can be removed and cleaned with water is appreciated. Unlike its predecessor, the motor chamber is sealed so that no spice dust gets in. This led to the demise of a competitors’s device. Another major positive is that this device is a dedicated spice grinder not a miss-applied coffee grinder.

Good for grinding small quantities of spices and nuts. Great for making chutneys. Silent yet powerful

I am very happy with my purchase of the Cuisinart Spice & Nut Grinder. I use it for grinding seeds, spices -- this has made getting my recipes done a breeze. This grinder is quiet, fast and gets the job done. I highly recommend to anyone that is looking for a durable, reliable and sturdy grinder.

Excellent spice grinder!! I roast and grind most of my whole spices like chili, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, etc. This grinder gets the job done. I used a Krups spice grinder for many years but it recently broke down and it was a bit small. Very happy with this Cuisinart grinder. It’s a little bigger than your average spice grinder, which is great. Highly recommend it.

My old grinder died suddenly, and the decided to get a different brand. I have other Cuisinart products that have served me well, and this one is no exception. It’s excellent quality and easy to use and clean. It’s a good value! I recommend this product!

It is quieter than others in category and easy to handle and care. It has good enough power to grind any nuts (shell/hull less) in few amount as described in manual, Blade is not solid installed and I don't feel confident as it stays loose until placed fit on motor body. So far I don't see issues.

This product so far is great. I used it few time to ground spices. But make sure not to fill it out completely because if gets heated it will stop the process. However, as it cools down it will get back to work normal.

During this pandemic, my wife decided to make her own curry powder. The YouTube instruction suggested that the traditional mortar and pestle was the "authentic" method for the best results. So we ordered a porcelain mortar and pestle from Amazon, and it arrived promptly. But the process of making a powder of the long list of seeds, spices, dried peppers totally wore her out and I was enlisted to help (under the guise of having more upper body muscles). I crushed and mashed and ground for what seemed a long time, and felt there must be a better way. So we went back to YouTube and a different video suggested this item. What a revelation! The hour of grinding was accomplished in about 3-5 minutes, clean up was even faster, the results were perfect.

I have used this one for a long time. This my second one I have and still very please. My first one still works well. It really is a nut grinder, a killer of nuts, haha. Really, I tested a lot and still doing the job like when I just got it. It is so good that I bought a second one to use it for my dog. I have to break her kibbles because she broke her jaw, had surgery and she cannot break her kibbles the way she used to do it. You might say what? Buy hey, is my lovely dog and it breaks the kibbles in a way that it is very easy for her to eat it. So I use it for my fam and also for my doggo. The only thing is that sounds a little bit more than I will like and compared to the pricey one from KitchenAid, but it is very easy to use, very easy to clean and if you don't might a little sound, it is going to be perfect for your house.

Use for grind all my herbs. I recommend I even did hazelnut and work perfect.

Cleans easy and push and go. Not a huge fan of pulse starting the blends because the cup seal doesn’t account for this operation too well but all in all i am super pleased with it!

Now, This May Sound Strange. I Purchased This Product, So I Could Grind Up Tums Tablets. I Have A 7 Year Old Yorkie, Rescue. Weights 5.5 Pounds (My Third Yorkie) Last Year, "Mimi," Was Diagnosis With, 'Lymphangiectasia." Which Is A PLE, Protein Losing Enteropathy. Mimi, Take Tums, For The Calcium. I Give Her Grounded Tums. She Gets 1/2 Tablet Mornings and Evenings. Plus Chemo Meds, Prednisone, Plavix, And Liquid Calcium. And High Protein Diet. This Grinder, Works Great And Much Faster, Than Using A Hammer !!

This product really worked my last nerve. I can’t lie but it definitely did save me when my blender stopped working and I had nuts to grind. You have to place the nuts inside this aluminum container and cover it with the plastic covering press down for it to grind and for the life of me it would not work it stopped several times as well as stop in the middle of me cooking which was absolutely frustrating, but after giving it 5 to 10 minutes each time it did that it started to work again I think moving think moving forward it will be best if I prepped to avoid the delays in the middle of cooking.

Amazing grinder. I used for cardamom, cashew, walnut and pistachios. Grind really good in few seconds. I love it! I hope that motor doesn’t burn out or get any issue in future. I used only one time each item so far.
