I've been buying R/C cars for my two boys almost every year for the holidays. And within a month or so, they're bored with the toy or they've broken it. It's such a waste of money. If you can get this car for it's typical holiday sales price of under $100, then do it. It's easily a $200+ package deal. It's hobby grade stuff, it goes fast, each battery lasts 20 minutes or so, but you get two batteries and can easily buy more. I bought one for each of my boys. They love racing together. One time they hit each others' cars, and one of the cars broke. so be aware, if you crash it just right, it will break. Just like any R/C car. But it's durable and can go off jumps and keep on riding. The one bit of info I found online that wasn't in the description is that YES, you CAN buy two or more of these cars, and race them at the same time without frequency disruption. Basically, you power on the car and controller of one set - they link, then you do it for the next set. No problems. So buy 2 or 3 or whatever. Your kids will enjoy them.

It’s more that I was expecting. Surer powerful and super fast for a rechargeable battery operated car

This car attains high speeds and needs room to preform. Skill is needed to control the car and the turning. It is a fun car for any teen.

Very Fast, My 11 year old nephew just loves it. Comes with 2 batteries, so there is no down time.

Bought this car for my 12 year old and have a hard time stopping myself from sneaking it out for a spin. It is very quiet considering the speed it can achieve. My son drove it over 150 feet without losing signal which also surprised me. My only complaint is that the steering knuckle snapped away from the control arm. The part numbers for every single component are easy to find in the owners guide, I was just unable to find replacement parts or upgrades online. Other than that I really like it.

This thing really goes. For the money it can not be beat. Comes with extra battery and has survived several crashes and head on into the curb at full speed. I need to learn to steer but it is so much fun. It can accelerate fast it pulls a wheelie from time to time.

It's got all the weight and speed of the expensive RC cars I used to race. Kids love it!

Just as fast as stated on box, great RC car for the price. Very low clearance so needs to be on track, road, or grass.

Car runs great on all terrains. Super fast and the best part is the spare battery!

This RC is a gift for my 12yo son. He was able to open the box on his own and read the instructions as they are very straight forward. He has some experience with RC's, but even so it can be difficult to maneuver initially for a child due to the speed. It is advertised at 20mph, which after using it for a couple days, I believe. Overall, I would recommend this for mature children or adults.

Wanted a toy to blowoff some steam during lunch break at work. This works great. Not too expensive, very responsive, battery last about 15 mins running hard. I bought an extra battery. This thing kicks up dirt and hauls!

Redcat Racing makes pro-level radio controlled cars that are sought after by experienced hobbyists and also enjoyed by those new to the game. Cars are beautifully made and are considered a premium brand. This is a Christmas present for my adult son. I got him a different style Redcat last year. Who wants clothes?? Give FUN for a present! Cannot go wrong with this car as a gift.

I picked this up on black friday for 80 dollars and it was worth every penny. It will run about 20 with the supplied batteries good solid construction best hobby grade buggy for the price redcat customer service is excellent I had a bad motor and they shipped me a new one no hassle ....it does only get 4 stars because the motor did give up after 2 runs fyi gets hot fast with lipo

For the black Friday price this was a steal. Batteries included (2) and even remote batteries and not to mention the car. Its a great beginner rc vehicle if you wanna get into the hobby. Great quality rc for the price point. Oil filled shocks and a decent motor and good quality parts. Couldn't ask for more!!!

This is a great rc car. It is extremely fast & heavy duty. It comes with two batteries & a charger. It has very precise steering & is the best rc car that I have ever owned.

Bought 2 of these so my daughter and I could race. I opened mine a week before she opened hers. Mine has been through 20 batteries and hit the curb on my street several times so hard the front wheel broke loose. Just had to snap the bball joints back together and away we went. Now the 2nd unit we were jumping both dunebuggies and Mine did not have anny trouble but the 2nd unit was on its 2nd battery and it stopped moving like it stripped the gear box. it was not being used half as hard as the 1st unit yet it had an epic failure. Good thing is the return date had not passed and Best buy gladly accepted the defective return and shipped me a new unit
