I would highly recommend asking about installation options for your dashcam. Why? When I went in, I was told by the installer they normally have a $50 option and an $80 option. Which I found strange because I saw that nowhere on the Best Buy website where I scheduled my appointment. Anyways. I made the right choice as he knew what he was doing obviously versus me struggling with my low-profile fuses in my vehicle (09 Honda Civic). He even hid all the cabling for me. I forgot to ask about he difference between both options though.

BestBuy techs installed my dashcam purchased from Amazon without any issues and quickly, in my 2017 Ford Fusion Energi Titanium! It so perfect that only the dashcam is visible. All wiring is hidden and no squeaks from the interior trim panels. I am very impressed!

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the service provided by one of your employees concerning the installation of a dash camera on my daughter’s recently purchased used car. As you are aware, an appointment is required for this type of installation. On the scheduled date and time, my wife and daughter took the vehicle to your store for the service. To my surprise, the technician in charge refused to perform the installation, claiming that the car had an unpleasant odor. When I questioned him, he stated that it smelled as if someone had defecated inside the vehicle. Following this unexpected response, I advised my wife not to engage in any discussion and simply request a refund, which was processed accordingly. However, upon her return home, I personally inspected the car and found that the claim made by your employee was completely unfounded. While the vehicle is indeed used, there was no unusual or offensive smell. This experience has left me with the strong impression that the technician was simply unwilling to work that afternoon and used this excuse to turn away a loyal customer. I find this behavior highly unprofessional and unacceptable, especially from a company like Best Buy, where I have always expected a high standard of service. Given that I have always relied on Best Buy for this type of service, I now question whether I should take my business elsewhere. My time is extremely valuable, and I cannot afford to waste it on the whims of individuals who are unprepared to deliver quality service—especially when dealing with a loyal customer and two unaccompanied women. I would appreciate a prompt review of this matter and an appropriate response regarding the actions you plan to take to ensure this does not happen to other customers.

The installation technicians did a great job installing a front & rear dash cam. They took the time to listen to my wants and concerns. The scheduling was a little bit of a hassle, especially because I had not purchased the item from Best Buy. After being passed from department to department I finally spoke with Laurice who was extremely helpful and even saved me some money!

Great job...install performed on time...ahead of time. He was very informative. After install, showed me how it performs on the platform on my device. Simple...easy...intuitive. Great experience. Thank you Service Department. You have never let me down.

The entire experience from purchase to install was easy and timed up perfectly. Picked up all at store and installed immediately after. The GS installer was outstanding (Clean shop, well stocked, extremely competent and helpful above and beyond to ensure I had and knew how to operate everything including App download. Waiting area was made up nicely. Just great folks. I hope more people use this service.

The agents exceeded my expectations and installed my new dash cam into my Hyundai Tucson in less than a hour. The install was clean and they did great with wire management. After the install, they ran me through how to use my new devices. All in all, it was a great experience.

He installed my dashcam quickly and very well. I didn’t have the correct hardwire kit so he installed it without and then when I received the correct hardwire kit he had me come in and installed that free of charge for me.

I’m really happy with how it turned out! At first, I started calling local places and they wanted $300 plus, so I was shocked when I found out that Best Buy could install my cams (front and rear) for so much less. The technician was friendly, knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions. Installation took a little longer than expected, but again, he did a great job! It’s been about two weeks since my installation and everything is working as expected.

I bought a Vantrue 5N dash cam on Amazon and Best Buy did a flawless job installing the main camera, the camera mounted on the rear window plus wiring to the fuse box for motion detection. I can’t say enough about how pleased I was with the installation and the tech who completed it.

Instal went great. The only issue was that there was nowhere to wait, and you had a long walk to get to the front of the store.

I stallers were professional and did great work. Great value for the service installing dash cam with front and rear, hard wired so it works when parked as well.

I really believe that terrific service needs to be noticed, highlighted especially. This is an easy review to write because Brent (installer) was the best. Originally scheduled for yesterday, I screwed up and showed up 40min late. Brent could not have been nicer. He said not to worry, he could reschedule me the next morning! Super helpful. He was even nice enough to give me a chair to relax in while I waited for the store to open. His work was superb. It looked factory installed, it was that good. Brent and folks like him are why I keep giving BB my business. Super Job, Brent! I hope BB takes good care of you. You and folks like you are what generate loyal, happy customers. GREAT JOB!!

The person that did my dash cam install which was in the Reno NV brestbuy was professional, efficient, and seemed to do a fine job. No complaints. The camera placement is good. Everything works and was much more affordable than any other place I looked at
