From the moment I started playing, this game compelled me with its ambition. When DS2 first came out I seen all of the great reviews it was getting. I decided to play the first game, then I bought the second. Both games are awesome! Don’t listen to the walking simulator comments, it’s a really good game with great music, a great story, some of the best graphics and performance I’ve ever seen! Seriously, it’s a locked 60fps and absolutely stunning! It’s up there with Expedition 33 and Kingdom Come Delivetence 2!

You encounter human, mechs and BTs, you deal with navigating best routes, tools and methods to reach your destinations. Kojima added tons of weapons, tools and ways to travel. I wish he did more vehicles . All you get is a pick up and a tri wheel bike. If you want the full experience of Death Stranding, play 1 then 2. Overall this sequel was a great upgrade over 1. Its a great game and way more than a deliver sim game that people try to claim although i do enjoy riding around delivering packages like im a ups driver. Its a very zen like experience

I'm still playing through the game, but so far, I'm really enjoying it. There's been a number of improvements made to this game compared to its predecessor. Although I do have to say this game might not be for everyone.

Game of the year, story is amazing(maybe a little weaker than first) and gameplay is just fun when you get started, not as slow as the first one.

Amazing game, a huge improvement on the first one. Stunning visuals from the decima engine. However, if you weren't a fan of the first, this one won't sell you.

[Employee of bestbuy] In many of Kojima’s games, there is always a theme behind the story. A deeper meaning to the entire picture. The plot is no different on Death Stranding 2, the evolution from the first game is massive. It has many new improvements from the first game, amazing graphics and an insanely IMPRESSIVE soundtrack.

[Employee of bestbuy] Kojima does it once again! DS2 has been such a blast so far, been loving the new BTs you can find and the new mechanics of the game. The story has been such an emotional ride and the visuals only push the story forward with how amazing they are even on my base PS5 + 1080p tv. Wish I could talk about the game more but I do not want to spoil it for anyone :D

This game is amazing piece of art! The graphics and gameplay are top tier. If you enjoy story driven games this is for you!

Great ps5 game to play and seems soooooo real..I play this game a lot .. love it.

Played the first one - got the platinum and loved it, sunk around 60-70 hours into it, but had some very big complaints. This entry fixed every issue I had with the first and made the experience so much better where I didn't think it was possible to improve - Kojima truly pushes the medium of video games to a new level. 100/10 game

This game alone is a reason to buy a ps5 if you don't have one. It's perfect. Fun mechanics, beautiful and also horrifying environments, a lot to do and fairly open ended how you do it. I've never been this drawn to any game before

I went through the first Death Stranding right when the sequel came out and immediately got a copy of DS2 on the day I completed the first game. DS2 is awesome and a major step up from the first game!

Hideo Kojima does it again!! This is a solid contender for G.O.T.Y. Amazing gameplay, graphics are insanely good and the story only gets better. For all porters in the world, this is a must!!

This was not like the first game where you get a long cutscene in the beginning and get the truck ir bike later in the game. You get the bike much sooner and the combat has many options you can choose or if you want to stealth.

I loved the first game, and this is an improvement on that in every way. It's a game where you can spend hours upon hours not pursuing the main objectives, just exploring, making deliveries, and gathering the resources needed to build out infrastructures. Upon reaching the game's huge main area, that means paving roads and restoring monorail tracks. The few structures you can build (generators to recharge vehicles, timefall shelters and so on) expand to include quite a few more. As a "strand" game (as coined by Hideo Kojima himself), the efforts of other players bleed into your game (if playing online) in the form of signs, likes, contributions to shared constructions, and more. The story is bonkers, but it's great. It's a remarkable experience and a sure GOTY contender.

I didn't think I would like Death stranding and got hooked but now Death stranding 2 takes it to a whole new level better visuals gameplay you can shoot now amazing loving it.

This game like the first death stranding is prefect it takes one core gameplay loop and perfects it. The game is also so beautiful to look at
