The set up with the DVR and on screen guide are less than helpful. It would not record and motion when someone walks on front of the camera. I used the port forwarding to watch on my computer and it worked once them would never load again. The picture is terrible not even close to 1080p as it says it is. Overall, just a terrible product.

Each camera needs AC power but wasn't much of a problem in my case. The wireless signal was pretty strong the cameras were about 75 feet from the receiver. Software is pretty basic. Image quality is better than older wireless systems I had installed. A good deal for what you pay for this thing.
