This is a great center channel speaker. Timbre matches my DefTech BP-8040ST front towers very well for seemless sound panning. Super clear for dialog, and very efficient speaker. It plays noticeably louder than my old Mirage FRx center which was also quite good. The passive bass radiator really does work, makes the speaker surprisingly full range despite just 4.5" mid-range woofers. My Marantz SR5010 auto-calibrated these to a 60Hz crossover. I stuck with the manufacturer's recommended 80Hz, but this speaker can obviously go low if it has too. Mids & highs are similarly well detailed as is typical for any DefTech speaker. This is the best center channel speaker IMO in the $500 and under budget range.

I bought this speaker to complete the Definitive Technology Speaker System. I bought the 8020's about 6 weeks previous to this purchase. I love the clarity, the crisp sound, being able to pick out the sound of the different instruments in the music. IT'S GREAT!

I was looking to crank up my surround system. This center was an clear choice to match the DT 8040 ST speakers purchased. Great sound and looks sharp. I like the bipolar aspect, gives a more sound depth.

I got this item for free when I bought the floor standing speakers, and I could not be happier with the sound quality. Pretty large but it does have a bass radiator so you need it to be that large.

I am loving this center channel speaker!!! This is the best center speaker i have owned! I have two of them. I am a huge fan of the Def Tech brand.

I got say the sound and clarity of the voices and audio is so remark lay pure you think the person is in the room.

Got it To go with my 8060 and 8040 definitive tech speakers sounds clear and very pleased it is large in size so need room to place it .

Excellent speaker for larger applications. I use mine for a tailgate trailer. Needed more sound for outdoors and this was perfect.

This is an excellent center channel speaker. It works well with the DT SM55 Bookshelf Speakers and Supercube 4000 subwoofer I have it paired with.

This center channel is pretty big, but the sound quality is great. I really like it so far.

I bought the 8040s and loved them so much, I decided to set up a home theater in my loft. This is a great center channel.

Very nice sounding speaker highs lows and everything in between recommended for average listeners to stereo aficionados.

I wanted to get the 8060, but didn't want to spend the dollars. This pairs well with my 8040's. I am very impressed with the sound. Definitely recommend angling toward listening area. My current stand has the center sitting lower than I would want.

Crisp, detailed sound is heard no matter whether I'm watching a movie or a TV show. Very happy with this purchase.

Closeout, clearance and open box specials are a great value if you want to take the time to replace what's missing or broken.

All I'll ever buy is Def Tech, the sound quality and quality of how the products are made is excellent. I love their speakers.
