Ive had this laptop for a week and ive literally been trying to push this laptop to at least sweat a little.. It has more than enough speed to play new games at extreme frames per second and barely slow down. The only faults i have with this laptop so far have been the screen which can be washed out or hard to see in bright areas otherwise it is a very good display to watch full hd 1080p movies or enjoy games in their cinematic glory. For the price this laptop is a very good machine to play demanding games on the go it only lacks a ssd and more ram which can be remedied with upgrades.

No complaints yet! He was looking for a good gaming computer and when I showed him this he said sure... it met his minimum requirements. After about a week of him having it (and constantly gaming) I asked him how he liked it. He said it was awesome!

I have always wanted a laptop good enough to play my games that my son bought me. Finally I can play my Tomb Raider! And Soma games! I love it! It’s smooth and fast and the picture quality is awesome! My games play great on this laptop!!!

I bought the open box certified version of this with my one year subscription to Microsoft Office and the total was only $815. It's in perfect condition and runs very smoothly, however I had to have a friend stop a lot of pesky Windows 10 updates that were just taking up room in my memory and disk when I turned the computer on. The backlit red keys are pretty, the design of the computer is overall very sleek and I have received many compliments. It runs video games well, like Battlegrounds, for it being a laptop. However, on the bad side, this computer is 5.5 pounds and quite large. This size can be a burden for portability but I knew that when purchasing this for college. Overall, a very reliable computer.

It plays overwatch and many other games very well, it's never stuttered once. The light up keyboard is great, the screen isn't fantastic, but it's not something that hinders the experience for me at all. Great buy for the price.

I have really enjoyed this laptop. Being able to play AAA titles is great. Currently I've been playing Battlestar Galactia: Deadlock on the highest settings with no issues. The battery life is great, just surfing the web, I can get 8 hours easy, playing HD games you will need to plug in after a few hours, depending on the game. The hard drive is a 1TB with 8GB hybrid so boot up is pretty fast, 20 -30 secs, almost the speed of a SSD. I would recommend this to someone who needs a fast gaming laptop.

Are use this computer laptop for work and it is so nice to be able to work anywhere and have it be so reliable. It is fast, does what it is supposed to do And meets all of my expectations.

Great laptop for the price. Solid construction. The laptop feels good on your lap or when carrying it around. Nice rounded edges for a smooth look. Screen is attached wonderfully. Internals: Good i5 processor HQ(more wattage than U, more power) Decent amount of ram. I added 8 more gb and it runs flawlessly with even 15 browsers open. Graphics wise the 1050 is solid for a laptop, but under powered for newer games. I've so far tested CS:GO, Elder Scrolls Online, and BF 1. CS:GO ran perfect on ultra settings, ESO ran quite well and BF 1 had frame rates no gamer I know would complain about. Not a lot of USB ports so plan on getting a docking station if you use it at a desk, but it does have HDMI 2.0b Did have it connected to 4k monitor for a bit and seemed to run smooth throughout so that is an option as well. As expected on a retail pc, prepare to go through some bloat ware. Would highly recommend for gamers that don't need to play the newest games at max or have a desktop pc for more demanding titles.

I bought this laptop to for everyday tasks as well as gaming. Coming from a desktop AMD Athlon II 630 with 2 GTX 550ti’s this laptop is quite a bit faster. I predominately play Civilization 6, XCOM2, and Fallout 4. Civilization and XCOM are not taxing a bit on this machine, on the highest settings. Fallout can be played on ultra without glitching, but will get the machine to produce a fair amount of heat, and by extension noise. I have no issue playing Fallout with an XBOX oneS controller and wireless headphones connected via Bluetooth, well except if I walk away and the headphones lose connection it may crash the game and not be available to close even from task manager, requiring a log off or reboot. Many people hate the display, I don’t. I play fallout for hours at a time without eye strain, and I really don’t think the color reproduction or black level is unacceptable. I don’t utilize the display at a very bright setting either. The sound is decent for how small the case really is, not stellar for music but more than adequate for gaming on the go. The ten key is full height so it’s pleasing to use, it’s only slightly condensed by width. The keyboard feedback is good enough, I can type on it effectively, and the lighting is attractive but not overbearing. I really like the large touch (track) pad. It is configurable and has tablet like features making it handy for browsing and such, although I really only use it on the go. It would be meaningful if the battery were removable, so as to have an extra on hand, that just isn’t the norm anymore sigh. All in all I would buy again, just with the ti video card. The price makes this machine a value to typical gamers (not hardcore) like myself. I pondered this purchase for a while, and I am glad I pulled the trigger.

I have had no issues with this laptop. If I want to play a game, it is up to the challenge. If I just want to watch something, it does the job just fine. The back-lit keyboard is nice when lighting is an issue. However, this laptop is not going to play the most demanding games at the highest quality, and the screen is not the best for watching movies. Just know these things going in and you should be quite pleased.

he has been glued to this laptop like he has never been before. it seems to have the memory and speed that he has never had before. combined with the vr headset and ear phones, he has been ready to play as soon as all other work is done. i always know were to find him. he says that the old days of buffering are gone . this outfit has what it takes when games are involved. i am super glad that i got it for him. it does not sit still.

Great laptop but I ended up taking it back for the HP Omen due to the difference in processor. I would definitely recommend the laptop to those who enjoy gaming.

It runs games very well and smoothly, I haven’t a had any problems with it.

My son loves this computer. Super fast, lots of memory. Good for gaming and hopefully school work too

This is a VERY nice laptop for the money. It will play just about any game you throw at it on high settings and it looks great with the red accents. Worth the money all day long!

While it might not be the best graphics card, the 1050 is more than capable for light gaming. I picked this up during the Black Friday sale and for the price it can't be beat.

Great perforamnce with Overwatch, and the screen is very nice. Computer doesn’t get too hot either. Opening applications does take a few seconds, probably because of the HDD.

I've been using a really old computer and none of the new games worked on it. I was looking for a computer that wasn't going to break the bank, but that would get me out of playing games that came out 20 years ago. This was it. It's worked for every game I've downloaded so far.

I'm not a gamer but do run some graphics intensive that put a lot of demand on the processor. It has done all ive asked of it so far. The price was amazing on sale.

The laptop works fine so far. I have used to play a few games including VR games and have had no real issues. Applications run much faster and smoother on this than my old laptop. It's also much more quieter. However I think 8GB RAM is the minimum for a gaming laptop. I'm planning to add at least another 8 GB. That should make the gaming experience even better.
