My child is a real gamer, this is a great computer for the price, and it is also a great computer for school work

This is a fast laptop has great picture quality. Did not check it out, was sold as an open box discount item. Glad I took a chance on it.

I can finally play my MMORPG's on ultra settings with no lag. 50 FPS on World Of Warcraft. I love being able to see things I am supposed to see in the game.

The laptop has a very nice kind of matte finish to it. Love that the keyboard lights up. Can handle games like LOL at super high settings easily and games like pubg at medium settings. Fan is a little loud when running more demanding games but it's something easily gotten used to. Overall a great purchase especially with the student discount at $700.

I normally do not, buy laptops that are as big as this one however the price on the computer at the time I purchased it could not be beat. The computer is listed as a gaming computer which is also good for editing videos which is why I purchased it. It comes with a full key board which I have never had on a lap top. Personally I don't like big key boards so I use my Logitech key board which I love because it can be use on three devices at the turn of a dial and its compact. The reason I gave it three stars however is because for a computer that was meant for gaming it is very slow out the box. I got the I5 version so perhaps that is why however I also have a small Yoga 11 inch which is much faster and I have had that computer for over a year. I would of used that lap top for the purpose I bought this one but, it is too small to be upgraded any more than it already has and is not good for gaming which is something I have been wanting to try out as well. One thing I do like about this dell is the screen is easy on the eyes. Perhaps it is a but unfair to give it three stars for being so slow its just that I have never bought a computer not even cheaper ones and has them be this slow from day one. Maybe when I up grade the hard drive it will perform better. I always try to get the most bang for my buck and search for the better deals but, maybe this was a purchase I should of simply gone for the computer I really wanted which was a Razor. Either way I do like the machine and for what I paid I will try and make it work.

I bought this laptop and had a problem with the first--the wifi would not connect. Best Buy exchanged it, no questions asked. The second works great.

Got this laptop for my brother for his school work and to be able to play games on. He has loved it since day one, projects and assignments are done with no problems. He's constantly streaming a movie or gaming and has no issues. He isn't playing new games at full 4k but plays games at appropriate settings and it performs great.

This is a good gaming laptop and a college laptop in one. I've had good success with the laptop in school, the battery continues to last more than 4 hours and quickly recharges. We would've given it 5 stars but had to have the mother-board replaced within the first 6 months. Since then, it is working well.

As a gamer and a college seniors, this laptop does wonders for incorporating both those lives together. Hardly ever lags nor does it slow down from having a lot of things downloaded and a lot of documents saved. I would definitely recommend to those who have a passion for gaming who also have other priorities or those who just love to game in general!

Great laptop. Using it for work (software development) a day play (gaming). 2 issues: slow hard drive, should have been ssd. For $100 got an Adata 512gb 3d nand ssd. Super fast. I also added a 256gb nvme stick and went to 16gb dd4. Super fast. 2nd issue, the screen. Not great, just ok. Still a great gaming machine at a very good price.

Good machine for the money. Not a top flight gaming computer, but runs over watch, destiny 2, battle front, etc just fine

Performance suffers a little out of the box with because of know Windows 10 issues. Once corrected, this thing ended up being a pretty darn good gaming machine. I've had it for about 2 years now and it still plays most of the games I throw at it. Excellent purchase and highly recommend.

Good performance and speed. Good Battery Life in gaming mode and while working with windows applications like office, IDE and others. High-Graphics games runs smoothly by adjusting game settings. No problem faced yet. Especially Cortana AI Assistant is really cool to play with. Overall it is a good budget gaming laptop for dell lovers.

This laptop is great for gaming. I play anything from FPS to Grand Strategy (i.e. Hearts of Iron 4) and runs smoothly. Battery life is good. I can play at ultimate for about 4 hours.... but that's pushing it. It's a bit on the heavy side but I'm thinking it's because of the extra hardware. Great but if you want to game on the go.

I bought this for my son who has been begging for a gaming laptop. I truly did not want to spend over that kind of money. This laptop truly works as well as the more expensive ones. We just added an additional gaming headset and mouse and he loves it. So glad I was able to make his wish come true!
