Had to perform a system restore on a brand new laptop fresh out of the box. But after that no problem since.

Tried playing a few games on it and it crashed during the games (blue screen error.) Happened enough times during the first 3 days that I just returned it.

While its priced at the low end, its biggest drawback is the 5400 RPM HDD even with the 8GB dedicated to OS startup. A handful of times I waited about 3-5 min for all of the boot up to finally finish, to which is a bit frustrating. Best recommendation is to replace HDD with SSD if you dont want to spend 1000 or more at a retail store. (it does have an available M.2 SSD slot, but is not compatible with SAMSUNG EVO 960) But still, for 700 dollars you could certainly do yourself some justice and skip this one.

Thanks for your review and we're sorry to hear about the slowness that you're experiencing with your new computer. We'd recommend limiting the startup programs on your computer by following these steps:
1. Close all open windows.
2. Press CTRL + Shift + ESC key together on the keyboard.
3. In the Task Manager window, click Startup tab.
4. Select the program or application that you want to disable from loading during startup.
5. Right-click and select Disable.
6. Repeat Step 4 & 5 for all the programs or applications that you want to disable from loading during startup.
7. Restart your PC.

Memory Error

Posted .Thisisnt - We appreciate your review. Here are some tips to help diagnose the Blue Screen Errors that you are receiving:
1. At the desktop, click the Search the web and Windows box and type "problem reports".
2. Select View all problem reports to view a list of errors that have occurred on your computer and possible solutions for them, such as updating drivers, flashing your system BIOS, or checking for updates to the software.
3. Under the Source column, look for Windows and under Summary, look for Shut down unexpectedly.
4. Right-click the line item and select Check for a solution.

Slow and terrible

It’s slow loading up and loading games (I have awesome internet so that’s not an issue.) and sometimes it doesn’t even want to run the games. It crashes frequently while I’m playing. Trying to get on the Internet takes forever and that’s only if it works (I usually give up after a minute or two or waiting.) The health checks take loads of time to run. I’ve had it less than a year, playing on it once or twice a week, and it just doesn’t want to work properly.

6. Under System and Security, click Run maintenance tasks.
