This review is written about 1 year after purchasing so keep that in mind. I bought this to be able to play Final Fantasy XIV on the go. It works great. Nearly max graphics with decent fps. Some drops during 24 man raids but not if you turn off other player's spell effects. One nice thing about this device is that you can add an additional drive without having to remove the installed SSD. The installed drive is a small (maybe) M.3 style drive that takes up as much space as a stick of RAM so that leaves the normal HDD bay empty. You can throw a large HDD or another SSD in there to get even more space. It also only has 1 dimm of 8gb memory which means you can double your memory without having to buy 2 sticks. My only minor complaint is that the backlit keyboard does not stay lit when unplugged. I've changed the settings in the bios and it should stay on even while idle, but it doesn't. Again, not a deal breaker by any means, but it's there... Overall, I am very pleased with this laptop. I've heard negative things about Dell recently, but I couldn't pass up the deal. I'm glad those rumors were wrong. This laptop is solid.

System is fast and easy to use. Great graphics and keyboard.

I bought this laptop so that I could play overwatch. The frames never drop below 55 fps and the speakers were louder than expected.

I looked at reviews on this computer and another one. I'm glad I went with this one. It was on sale and works great for editing videos. Plus it can be used for gaming also. I had the geek squad install a couple of programs and they were great with going through the computer with me. Thanks and I would recommend this computer to anyone.

Great laptop. I use for work and gaming. Only problem so far is it will cut out on the WiFi connection for a second then back on.

Battery life and muscle for games...really surprisingly good!

Great setup out of the box. I tweaked a few GPU settings to use the 1050ti on battery. Ultra fast boot times with sata m.2 drive. Also has open space to upgrade/add a SSD as well. Extra slot for ram. Very upgradeable laptop. I own 3 of them with varying specs. The cheaper version without the m.2 drive is also a very good buy.

Excellent gaming laptop. Purchased to play games as well as for some school work. Did not come with office. Truly in love with this laptop; it has excellent specs for the price. Battery life can be a little short, so make sure to bring your charger for any gaming or above minimal use outside the home. Would definitely recommend.

Great bang for your buck. I've owned it for about three weeks, and so far no complaint. Runs most games smoothly.

Laptop is good, but interested had freezing issues with the Intel he 630 , 4 stars on it with this issue.

The price equals the quality. While it only comes with 256gb ssd it does have a slot for another drive. Quick plug n play and formatting for the additional drive. Graphics card is good for past games but may be hard for future games. Perfect for adobe products.

Bought this for my 12yr old son and he loves it. Games play smoothly. Speakers sound so much better than other laptops. The only thing I did not like too much was the screen hinge because it felt like the screen is bending when you open from the lid's corners. Other than that, this is a solid laptop.

Got it on sale. Dropped an extra 8GB RAM in it, it came with 1x8GB with two slots. Added a 2 TB mechanical drive. Nice gaming rig that can handle some serious games and the occasional CAD work. The one downside is it is heavy and thick (ok two downsides).

This is a great laptop for all my gaming and productivity needs.

This laptop is good for gaming without spending well over a thousand dollars. Although the mouse hesitates at times, I am satisfied with my purchase because I can use the laptop for school and for gaming. The keyboard has a backlight and the red print on the keys look really cool in the dark.
