Its been a great starter comouter for our son wbo loves gaming!

I got this laptop for my church to run our multimedia software. It's a great laptop with great specs. The 1050Ti really helps with displaying 4k video on the external monitors. Build quality was better than other laptops at this price point, but I had some concern about the display hinge. There is a lot of screen flex, and I worry that the display won't stay in the same spot if you were to move the laptop around, but other than that it is a strong contender.

This laptop with SSD boots up in a matter of seconds. Graphics quality for gaming or streaming is excellent.

I bought this after a lot of research on what computer would be best for my gaming kids. I had to return the first one because the battery died within 2 hours. I am hoping the 2nd one does much better. I am not a computer nerd so I honestly have no clue how to "review" a computer but we like it so far for playing mine craft, the sims, and other video games online.

I bought this laptop to replace an old HP laptop i had purchased 8 or 9 years ago. I have always been into console and handheld gaming and I wanted to finally get into PC gaming. I got this when it was on sale ($799.99) and at that price point I don't think you can get as much bang for your buck like you do with this one. If you are contemplating getting this one or the one that is $100 dollar cheaper get this one! The screen, SSD drive, and the better graphics card is well worth the extra $100. The Good: Screen: The IPS screen is leaps and bounds better than the TN they have on the cheaper model. It's 1080p, and while it is not the best display I've seen it certainly gets the job done. Gaming: I'm completely new to PC gaming, but from my research this PC can play the vast majority of games I want to play on recommended settings. Sound: The sound is pretty good. There is also a sub-woofer under the keyboard. Fans: This PC is typically very quiet. When playing demanding games you do hear the fans, but if you have noise in the background (TV), or turn up the volume over 20 it wont be a bothersome. Upgrades/Tinkering- This is probably the easiest laptop I've seen to open up. All that is needed to open it up is to take out one screw! You can easily add a 2nd hard drive or more RAM. The Bad General Looks: This is purely based on personal preference, but the laptop itself looks like it came out 10-15 years ago. While i like the red accents and grills, when you put this laptop next to other laptops in the $800 - $1000 range this one will look much cheaper and out dated. It's definitely not going to turn heads.

Not quite up to minimum VR requirements but will run most games well and is a good all around computer.
