    Recently got this laptop to play some games and be able to type up notes and amongst other things. The laptop has a pretty decent battery life even when playing games but my main gripe is it's a bit bulky . But for the price with these specs you have the lose somewhere. A thing and light with these specs I could see for $1000

    Overall I am very happy with this laptop. It is my first laptop, I have always used a desk top. It is the perfect blend of both IMHO. It is a little bigger/ chunkier than most laptops these days but still very portable. This laptop shines when it comes to pure "horsepower". The GPU is outstanding and handles everything I throw at it with ease.

    We purchased this laptop for my son as he begins his journey to college. He has not began college yet but he has loved using the laptop to game. He has a gaming desktop but on occasion he will use this laptop instead of his desktop. He says he can play all of the same games at the same fps as his desktop and it works well.

    Love it and even better the 8GB of RAM is on just one chip that you access with one Philips head screw so I was able to upgrade to 16GB by buying just one more 8GB chip. Very smart of Dell. Computer can take as much as two 16GB if you need that much
