Good computer for work. Bulky but not too large. Would recommend cooling pad if planning to use for gaming. Built in cooling is adequate but additional cooling isn’t a bad idea to prevent overheating issues

I like that laptop, but Dell puts a lot of bloatware on it. I would suggest uninstalling the bloatware as soon as you purchase. Been using a Windows Mixed Reality headset on it. Runs great and lots of fun.

This is a really fast startup pc that handles all aspects of my work easily. It has a really usable keyboard with back-lighting and its boot up time is incredible. You get a lot for the money you spend.

I was frustrated by how slow my old computer was working when remoting into my employers server. It was suggested I try a gaming computer, so I purchased my Dell GeForce. Perfect solution. I bought 2.

I was very happy with all of the features and benefits related to this product. Also, the sales rep from our local store was extremely knowledgeable about all of the various laptops we looked at.

Dead after six weeks. Best Buy told us they take care of warranty repairs the first year. Now they say they don't and to call Dell. Called to India for one and a half hours who said they do not do warranty repairs, the buyer does the labor. She said to take the back off and begin testing and removing parts. She said SS Hard Drive is fried. She will send one out in four or five days and we must install it and begin again. Hope this works but not happy. Will see.

Got this for my wife and she loves it. Boots up fast with it's SSD Drive but lacks Hard Drive space for real gamers. Me wife mostly uses it for web surfing and homework. Picked this up on sale.

Overall the laptop was not bad the audio issues where annoying so i had to return it guess the speakers in mine whee bad but before that they where pretty good

I have been using this laptop for a couple weeks and while it runs Blizzard games just fine there are some major issues with the laptop. It freezes and you cannot close any of the programs so you have to force restart. Even control alt delete doesn’t work when this happens. The task manager launches but you cannot access it. The only thing you can do is alt tab through all the programs that are open but you are stuck on the screen of the program that froze. This has happened at lease 4 times in the last two weeks so I may be returning this laptop soon. I posted a video of the game freezing below. Other issues include the screen changing automatically to the desktop in the middle of a game. I clicked the pop up window asking to restart the computer after the update and it is not working and gives me an error message. Just way too many issues to deal with on a new laptop. I have another 4 year old gaming Asus laptop and the only issue I ever had was the windows 8.1 update not being compatible with some of the video drivers. Also the battery on this Dell is not removable so you have to keep it plugged in or unplugged. When I am gaming I usually take the battery out while the laptop is plugged in to preserve the battery but this is not an option. There is limited harddrive space on this laptop too so I keep my music and pictures on my old laptop. I thought this laptop came with more storage space on a separate haddrrive other than the 256GB SSD but I didn’t read the description clearly. Aside from these annoying nuances the laptop runs games pretty well. The SSD is fast to launch and it runs WOW under high settings at about 75 FPS. Under heavy spell casts in a raid it drops to about 20-25 FPS. The cooling system on this laptop is pretty neat and surprisingly quiet at times. I still use a cooling pad underneath for more ventilation. I bought this on Black Friday so the price was decent but it was not cheap. I am still on the fence about keeping this laptop because of all the glitches I have encountered. Maybe I just got a dud or I my expectations are too high but I just want simple things to work!

Use this laptop for business!! Purchased for graphic design software... not a gamer. Love it!

This laptop is a beast, put simply. It has great specs for the price. The only complaint I might have is that it gets a tad warm when playing heavier games, but what laptop doesn't?

I originally had the Dell Inspiron but the screen and sound quality was horrible. I returned it and got this for a very good price and everything is working great.

Needed a new laptop. Saw this on sale, $150 off. Was well reviewed and bargain priced. Powerful. Only issue is the case has some sharp edges. - 1 star for that.

It's pretty fast just wish flash drive was bigger, will probably be adding another one. For now I use external hard drive to store everything and it works just fine.

Bought for daughter's graduation gift. Does everything she wants and more. She loves it! Best part is the 2nd HDD bay so I added another Firecuda 2tb drive.

On paper, this laptop seems like a very good deal. In practice, it actually isn't. The loptop would start getting 40-50 frames when ou start a game. then would start slowing down down to about 20-25 fps. tried to get the graphic setting down to low for the games. Start the games again, starts at around 40-50 fps again, then after a few mins starts to throttle again. did all fixes available but in the end, just concluded that it is not a really good gaming laptop.

Our kid received Oculus Rift for Christmas and needed a gaming laptop. We hadn't done any research went to Best Buy to see what we could find. The Dell we bought is classified as a gaming laptop and the associate even said we could use it with Oculus Rift. This was not the case. The game crashes and cannot be played on that laptop. Apparently there are "Oculus Ready" laptops that we were not aware of. The laptop works fine with simple games, just not ones more advanced.

This is a wonderful laptop ! I have owned only Dell laptops for several years. This only has all the things I need for everyday work .

Like the screen size. Keyboard is easy to get around on. Much easier than the Lenovo Yoga that I traded in for this Dell. Downside is that it is much heavier.

Love the laptop but didn’t pay attention when I bought it that there was no disc drive. Red keyboard lights are tough to get used to.
