This gaming laptop is at the minimum requirements for oculus rift VR. This makes it blazing fast for everything else. Dell support is world class and it’s a tank. It also looks cool and doesn’t weigh as much as you would expect.

I was lucky enough to purchase this laptop when it was on sale, which made it even more of a steal. At the time of my purchase it had the updated IPS screen which is amazing for the price point. I am able to run most games at on High and still achieve 60 FPS or better which to me, at the price of this laptop, is great. I did upgrade the RAM with another 8GB stick and threw in another 2.5 inch 500GB SSD. Its not necessary but it definitely helps! If you are on the fence, jump over, its worth every penny!

This laptop did exactly what I was looking for. It allows me to play games on the go. I have a powerful gaming desktop that I built which is great but sometimes you need to be able to move about. It's very nice to be able to sit on the couch and kick back while still gaming. This laptop provides you with all you need to play just about any game on high settings. I play WoW mostly. I did notice that when I turned the graphics up to ultra the laptop had a hard time staying at a consistent 60 fps.
The only 2 cons I have with this machine is that the display is not all that great and it's very loud when gaming. Keep in mind I play on a 27" 1440p 120hz monitor with my desktop so the not so good display of the monitor is very noticeable to me. It's more than likely me rather than the actual display being bad.
At the end of the day, this laptop is excellent for the money. It will suit all kinds of needs from the casual gamer all the way to the hardcore gamer. Get this thing now.

Purchased for my son primarily for school use. We like that he has the option to be able to use it as a gaming laptop. It is a great looking laptop, but is a bit on the heavy side.

Overall a decent laptop for its price, the only complaint is that it does have a pretty loud fan but other than that it does the job well and most games run at 60 FPS or higher.

Briefly, I do 3D modelling/rendering and software development, I use laptops heavily and almost all day long.
I watched and read lots of reviews before going for this laptop and I can say that this is the best PC purchase I've ever made and here is why:
- SCREEN, IPS panel is day and night different than the previous TN panel, viewing angles are great, color accuracy is respectable and contrast ratio is amazing. DO NOT go for the cheaper $799 that comes with TN, plus the cheaper model does not come with PCIe SSD drive and 1050 not 1050Ti.
- SIZE and WEIGHT; not the lightest but it is portable, I used it once while I was commuting size is fine if you wanna use it on you lap on a train and I can't feel the weight of it in my backpack considering that I don't carry the charger anymore, and here comes my next point.
- BATTERY, I cannot believe that Quad Core laptop with dedicated GPU can last that much, of course NVIDIA optimus play a big part in this, but I literally hit 11 hours on a single charge with 50% brightness and WIFI on all the time. I surfed, downloaded couple apps and compiled using Android Studio and MS Visual Studio. If hardcore looks do not matter to you this is better than the business style XPS15, and for me XPS15 do not have the 2.5" bay for models that come with 97WHr battery.
Bottom line, this laptop will give you full day of battery life, if you carry it to your work and use it in realistic way not (25% brightness with WIFI off) or having to use Edge instead of chrome to save battery life. Just charge it at night and leave the brick at home.
- GPU; this has the 1050Ti which is faster than the 1050 in the cheaper model and way way faster than my last 860M in my Lenovo Y50. I render using CUDA a lot and I have a desktop with GTX1070, so this will be for light stuff and on the go and it is really good enough for my needs.
- CPU; here was my only concern, I really wanted Bestbuy to carry the 7700HQ just for having 8 threads vs the 4 threads in the 7300HQ, but since I do my heavy lifting on GPUs nowadays, I don't mind having the i5, plus it consumes less power and thus will give you little bit better battery life.
- HEAT & NOISE; The two fans are quiet, they produce less noise than my Macbook Air when the fans kicks in, and less than my old Lenovo Y50. Heat is quite good, it’s ice cool compared to the Y50 and to the MBA.
HERE IS WHAT I DID:
- I added 500GB 2.5" SSD EVO Samsung that I bought from Bestbuy for $149 a while ago, and now I have enough storage without having moving parts HDD that will consume more power from the battery.
- I installed 32GB (16X2) memory sticks (LOW PROFILE ONES) I tried the Patriot Viper with heat sink and they did not fit because they are too thick for the slots.
- I uninstalled all the bloatware from dell and the free subscription McAfee that comes with it, updated the windows and registered the laptop using Dell website (INTERNET EXPLORER ONLY). And I forgot to mention that it comes with 20GB 1Year dropbox subscription, and for me this was great news since I am a heavy dropbox user.
- Shoutout to Bestbuy! This configuration is cheaper than if you wanna get it online from Dell, I don’t know how! But they did it. Plus, for me having to go to a store and picking it up the same day is priceless!
GOOD:
Stellar battery life.
Great value.
Matt IPS screen is awesome.
1050Ti, great for this price point.
256GB PCIe SSD, great for this price point.
BAD:
Looks, not so great.
Keyboard, not the greatest but above average.
Touchpad not the best (I am a mouse user anyway).
Stock software, just get rid of it.
Finger print magnet.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Very fast and easy to use. I love the backlit keyboard. The keyboard feels very nice and it is an island-type. I wish there was more memory but I just downloaded all the necessary programs and I just use an external flash drive. I use it for electrical engineering and it does everything ship-shape. It is very great for the price. Everyone says the screen is terrible but it is good since I hate the glossy type anyway (personally). But the screen doesn't serve a hindrance to the overall performance of the laptop. I'm glad that it has a GTX 1050Ti for the price. It is awesome and I really recommend it.

I purchased this computer at a really good price during some sales. There was not one available in store to test out so I watched some videos and read some reviews to get an idea of the computer. The computer overall was a great computer, very fast since it included a SSD and the graphics were great, although I am not a gamer, I do trading so a discrete graphics card really helps out. I was offered the new Dell G7 when I purchased this in the store but did not have the funds for the price difference. The area this particular model lacks is mine only came with 8GB of RAM and an i5 CPU. The CPU became the bottleneck point with the RAM as I run multiple monitors and the Day Trading software I use is very intensive. The sound in this system is great compared to what I am used to(first new computer I have bought). I hated the bezel on this computer, it is very thick and makes the profile of the computer more of a 17" then a 15". I returned this computer within the return period and upgraded to the Dell Inspirion 2 in 1 17" with an i7 8th Gen CPU, 2TB HD and 16GB RAM with a discrete graphics card. I also purchased a Samsung 970 EVO M.2 NVME SSD and it is amazingly fast, with a thin bezel and lots of screen real estate. The fan does kick on a lot more then the 7567 gaming system but it is well worth the stylish sleek look, upgraded ram and upgraded processor.

I got this on sale for $650. The price can not be beat. However, reviews that mention the fan noise are on point. When playing graphics intense games (and that's why you bought it right?) the fans cycle up noticeably loud. I've taken to donning noise cancelling headphones to tune it out. I'd have given the review 4.5 stars, but no way to do that. Heck, I'd go as far as 5/7.

This is extremely fast and reliable... after my big ordeal. The Laptop was purchased on sale, this was the only reason I didn't return immediately. Why?? From out of the box it performed ok, however the Wifi internet wouldn't work. I was forced to connect by hard wire, then spend the rest of the day performing many updates and work with customers support to enable wifi after this was completed I couldnt be happier with my purchase. If I didn't have to work on it for so long out of the box, it would have been 5 stars review.

I'm only about 30 minutes in to my first time with this laptop and I'm very impressed so far. At the moment's price of $699 I feel I got quite a value. The setup was unique - I'm an IT guy and setup many machines including those with Windows 10 but this setup was, by default, Cortana driven, clever, quick, and immediately showed off the sound quality from the laptop's speakers. I've only heard Cortana so far but she was crisp with rich tone. Based on other recent consumer laptops I've set up, this setup experience also tells me that Dell has done the work to work well with Windows 10..others not so much.
Other likes:
-The trackpad is textured but works very well.
-The keys feel decent. Good spacing, size and travel. Not at all spongy.
-The display looks great to me but note I've not yet viewed any video or games. The screen is matte, just something to know if you prefer or are accustomed to a more glossy screen. The screen is rather bright out-of-the-box. I actually have turned it down a notch.
-Speed - hesitant to comment as I really haven't done anything with this computer yet but, still in wow over the setup experience, including how quick it was including updates, I don't anticipate any performance disappointment.
The only things I've noticed so far I don't like are:
-the backlit keyboard, at maximum brightness, is still quite dim.
-A trick of the eyes I'm sure but the significant bezel around the screen makes it seem smaller than other 15.6" displays.
-HEAVY, but I knew that going in
