After reading reviews for this and other brands, we opted for this Dell due to the fast startup and graphics card installed. We also bout a additional gaming mouse so my son can get the most out of his games.

Wasn't sure about this one for playing games with only a 1050ti and a I5 processor. This thing really handles the games nicely, better than expected. Will get more ram in this thing and all should be OK

I've been thoroughly impressed with this laptop. I used to think that there was no such thing as a budget gaming laptop. But after some research I found that the Nvidia 1050 TI is more than capable. So far I've been coasting through the new Wolfenstien 2 game on high settings averaging about 40 to 50 FPS. Also so far no thermal throttling. While I haven't benched it under synthetic load. it's been able to keep up with everything I've thrown at it.

The graphics or great and the speed of the computer is excellent and battery last so long.

This is an awesome gaming laptop. Fits a students budget plus the student deal i got. The TI has the IPS screen that makes a great difference on ur viewing experience. 5 stars!

The graphics card won't run everything, but a solid laptop for the price. Someone finally had the brilliant idea of including a solid state drive standard and it runs well.

Bought the computer on sale for $699! Definitely a steal!! The speakers is great I don't understand why are people complaining but I'm definitely not deaf. Processing speed is fast so is the ssd is definitely a must have. I added another 250gb. Having 8g ram is enough to play many games out there and the gpu is also amazing.

Great speed. I heard the fan come on once when updating some software and it’s really not very loud. I know it’s supposed to be a “gaming” laptop but I mostly use for school and it works great that purpose. Only complaint is that the Microsoft Office it comes with is only for a 30 day free trial and you have pay $100 after that just to keep it installed. But, that is typical of most any laptop.

I really like this gaming laptop. Handles games with ease, simple design. Best value for money, make sure you go for the 1050 TI makes a noticeable difference.

Screen was very difficult to read on old computer ...it was not bright enough. This computer's screen is easy to read. It is also much faster than the old computer.

A lot to offer in this gaming laptop. There's also an addition slot internally that can house a 2.5 ssd. Went with the Samsung Evo 850 500GB. (Also as a heads up it doesn't come with the 4 screws needed to secure the new ssd so you'll have to find them at the store or eBay.). The DDR4 Ram is also upgradeable up to 32gbs. It's done everything I've asked of it thus far with zero complaints. Good purchase.

Tried the model with the 1TB and GTX 1050. It couldnt multi task for poo. Likely due to not being an SSD. So I upgraded and WOW it feels twice the price. GTA 5 super smooth. You just cant beat the performance for power ratio. Battery life, at most 1.5hr while gaming before needing plugged in. I have no Cons

The new IPS display is great, the hard drive runs fast, I added a second Samsung Evo 8 500gig for more storage and it had the mounting bracket already inside it. I haven't played many hardcore games but I have played skyrim, borderlands the presequal, CSGO, Diablo 3 all in top settings with no issues. it's slightly heavier than I expected. I was also suprised by the bass. It sounds really nice.

Picked this model up after considering the one model below this. I picked it up since it came with the ssd and the 1050ti graphics card. I have played destiny 2 and max graphics with no issues. Cons I have Are1) the keyboard backlight is not quite bright enough and the intakes for the fans are right where it sits on your legs so it is easy to get the laptop to overheat while gaming.

Great laptop for a gamer on the go without the funds for something beefier. Plays most vr title smoothly and upgrading is easy. Great buy from Best Buy!

SSD makes boot super fast. No lag or latency in the few games that I've tried so far. Also the light up keys make it nice for my hotkeys in the dark.

This is a great laptop for an entry level gamer. The screen is large and clear and it has a great Nvidia graphics card. 8GB of RAM and a 250 GB SSD. The Intel chipset is an i5. We are using this at church with the EasyWorship program. I'm looking forward to try this with a new projector when the church can purchase one. If you are a gamer this is just what you need as a starter.
