Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the Inspiron 2-in-1 Chromebook's ease of use, responsive touchscreen, and excellent battery life. Many also praised its performance and value for the price, particularly appreciating the 14” screen size. However, some customers found the device to be heavy, and a few expressed concerns about the limited RAM and compatibility with certain applications. The lack of an HDMI port was also noted as a minor drawback by some users.

You might see ower price at amazon but it is not the same as Best Buy on this model. This one has FHD and chrome OS instead of windows 10. Bought for granddaughter as dell Inspiron is what they use at her school. Bought excellent but new. Got a great price. Best warranty expensive so bought square trade.

Great speed with great battery life. Great for those who are used to a laptop and need something a little smaller for work/travel. It is not too small of a Chromebook so your hands are not too close together when typing. The backlit keyboard is great for doing work late at night as well. Highly recommended!

Feels dense and finely made.-just like Dell's other laptops. Boots-up very quickly and very easy to setup. Snappy performance with a bright sharp display. Only thing I really don't love is the mousepad. Clicks a little artificially with a certain sloppiness that's not aligned with the rest of the machine.

Works very well and meets all my expectations. Only had it for a few weeks, just unsure if I'll be able to set up my wifi with it. Moving to a new apartment and a little unsure of the wifi set up. Already an existing one at my current location. Other then that the computer is really nice.

This is a very good device, however, if you are a Microsoft user, understand you will need a different version compatible with Chromebook. Also check your printer compatibility as well. This machine only has one USB port so you will need to connect most with WIFI or Bluetooth connection.

I bought this to replace a laptop that got very slow . The chrome book has been easy to use . I’m a senior citizen so I’m used to instruction books . Doesn’t seem like anything comes with books anymore . It had been fairly easy to learn and it works very well . Screen pictures are very clear and vivid .

Purchased for my daughter for Christmas, this dell is very well built and has yet to get hot. The display has a warmer tone then I am used to, but this may be adjustable. I don’t use it personally so, I haven’t gone through the settings yet. If you can get it on sale, it’s a decent value.

This was a great machine, I regret that a soft drink made it's way to the keyboard and I needed to use my Best Buy warranty (Which was NOT a good experience). BB did not replace it with a Dell, but an HP. HP is a good machine but I really liked the Dell.

Bought for kids’ school and seems to be working for them. Quick connectivity to internet and apps open. Have a little issue with difficulty in dealing with pdf documents as works more on a Chrime OS, so not as intuitive with some work/school applications. But generally a good machine so far.

Specs: 8th Gen i3- 8130u 2 core 4 thread processor 14-inch FHD thin bezel display 4gb of Ram 128gb of Storage Micro SD slot, x2 USB Type C port with charging capabilities on both ports and 1 USB A 3.0 full-size port. All around aluminum build that feels solid EMR Pen Backlit Keyboard Chrome OS The first impression out of the box is a good one. It’s compact, feels solid and small footprint that makes it a very portable device. The touch display is pretty good it’s bright, colorful and with minimal bezels. Speakers can get loud and clear too. Good display and speakers make it a good media consuming device. Dell also includes a pen that is located on the bottom panel with his own storage compartment. Writing notes or drawing with the pen is a good experience with minimal lag. WiFi and Bluetooth have been solid and fast. Performance is night and day compared to my old Chromebook with a low-end Intel Core Duo chip. With just having more than 6+ tabs open on Chrome browser with one of them playing YouTube music on the background it would start to slow down. The 8th gen i3 is a speedy processor that performs just as well as the previous 7th gen i5 U processor. The only bottleneck I can see would be the 4gb of ram. But for now, Chrome OS has done a good job when it comes to ram management. Another area that I noticed improvements is when playing demanding 3D games from the Google Play Store. My daughter likes to play Roblox on my Chromebook. On some of the levels, the GPU would struggle and gameplay would just slow down to a crawl. With the Intel UHD 620 GPU, it's been a smooth performer when it comes to gaming. Battery life is pretty good getting around 6-8 hours of mixed usage. For I/O ports you get 2 USB Type C ports that are used to charge the device. You also get a full-size USB 3.0 port along with a micro sd slot. The charging brick is very small and lightweight with an led light at the end of the cable to provide some light. The backlit keyboard is decent but I would of like a little bit more of deep travel and feedback. The trackpad area is a good size with a smooth surface. There is no individual buttons the trackpad itself is clickable. Overall the Dell 14 Chromebook 2 in 1 is a well built high-end device that can compete with other Chromebooks around this price range. You get a good display, processor, pen support and 128gb of storage. It’s a solid pick up that won’t leave you disappointed.
