This is our first experience owning a Chromebook. Given we are just users of computers, this was a perfect fit for us. Thank you Best Buy Associates for listening to our needs and steering us in the right direction.

It's very different from the Dell PC laptop it replaced and I am still learning how to use it. So far I was able to find answers to many of my questions and that is a big help. When I know enough to be comfortable using it, I believe I will be very happy.

This was my first Chromebook and I'm quite impressed. I'd played around on display Chromebooks a few times and my kids use them at school and love them, but I'd never owned one. I didn't have a good impression from the display models, but having this one for my own has completely changed my mind. I don't do any heavy computing at home, so the "Browser as an Operating System" thing is working great for me. I already used the Chrome Browser so there was zero learning curve there. There’s a little with notifications and those things, but nothing that will bother you. Setup was quick. Connect to Wi-Fi and sign in with your Google account. A few questions and you’re going. It imported my Chrome bookmarks and extensions and I was off. Took no more than 5 minutes. Maybe less, to be honest. Some extensions are designed for Windows only, as I found out. I have one that syncs my bookmarks to Safari on my iPhone (don’t judge, Googlers) and it doesn’t work. But every other one did. The biggest thing that has impressed is that it loads fast and operates fast. This model has a Core i3 and I'm sure that's making a difference, coupled with the SSD. Spend a little extra ad get a good processer and enough RAM like you would for any computer. There is just never any lag for anything. And those things coupled with the high speed internet at home provide a great experience. Battery life is off the charts compared to a Windows or Mac computer. After the initial charge, in 3 weeks I have only charged it twice. I hibernate my windows laptops to save the battery. I haven’t turned this Chromebook off yet. It’s awesome because it’s truly always available to me. The things that I hate doing on my phone or would rather do on a computer than a tablet I do right away now. I’ve totally stopped going for my iPads. They’re just toys for the kids now. Android apps are now available on Chromebooks and I thought that was a gimmick. I couldn't understand the point. Now I do. Apps like Snapchat that don't have a web version you can use on the computer. Or apps that you like the app interface version better than the web version. Or if you don't want to be in Facebook but want to use Messenger, you can do that. They're also available offline when the web versions aren't. Clearly to use them to their fullest you need to be online, but some apps have offline functions or things that you can still do offline. I family overseas that uses Facebook Messenger/Viber/WhatsApp and I don’t need to grab my phone or use the web version (Which I don’t like). One word of caution. Installing apps and having offline data makes this much more like a regular computer, so the lower SSD sizes on Chromebooks could become a problem as time goes on. Right now it's not, but I can see that coming. This is not a computer that I will store my photos and things like that on, so it will never be a problem for me. But I did want to throw out that thought in case someone might use it differently and store more. This is one of the longest reviews that I’ve written in a while and might actually be the longest I've ever written, so I hope that people have read through it all. I am really impressed with this Chromebook and use it a lot, and I enjoy using it. I highly recommend it.

I bought this in a panic as our school was switching over to online. I needed something to teach my students with. I selected a few computers....at the suggest of you salesman only to find they weren’t in stock. I needed something for the next day. So he looked for in stock items and this was the only one in my price range. It had been returned. This computer works fine until it turns itself off with know warning. It has nothing to do with battery power. It then takes anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes to get it back on. Not great if you are in the middle of something!!!

Chromebooks have a reputation that the Dell quickly overcomes. If you need a computer for basic browsing or game streaming, it's superior to getting a similarly priced PC. The quality matches much higher end PCs or even MacBooks.

Much different than I thought it would be. I can do everything i did before. I just use a jump drive. But it does have enough space for me. I also has a build in Security system which was not told to us at time we purchased it. I love it

I have had no issues with this Chromebook since purchasing two months ago. I have it 4 stars because I'm needy and would love a 4k display but I'm also a realist and know that you're not going to get a 4k display on a lower mid range Chromebook.

The computer has good processing speed and memory. Being a Dell it is durable and works well without difficulty. Nice buy for college students and those wanting to do average work with computers.

Which is what 95% of us use a computer for, web browsing and some word processing. Download any apps as you would on any android device. If you’re already part of the android ecosystem, then this machine will work out great.

Good screen, good keyboard, but trackpad is really bad. Dell does not care about build quality. Had to get a Chromebook for kid, and this was the best affordable option. Fan runs faster than Usain Bolt when kid is playing Roblox via Android apps.

This was a nice laptop. I ordered one because I needed to work on Design Space. Chromebooks aren't compatible with it, so I had to return it and get a Lenovo IdeaPad Flex

I use Dell laptops at work and trust their quality, this chrome book is solid and well built and doesn’t feel like a child’s chrome book like many do. Pleased with purchase it should do well for the remainder of my daughters high school years.

I was skeptical of buying a chromebook but am a Dell fan. I could not be happier with this purchase and likely will never buy a laptop or iPad again. The tablet is an awesome feature which we use often. Buy this!

I was looking for a laptop but couldn't find a good one within my budget. I walked into Best Buy and they happen to have a sale on the chromes. So far, it's been a great! Much more efficient than what I expected! Would totally recommend it!!

I believe that the Dell 2-in-1 Chromebook will become a classic among Chromebooks - it will hold its value, no doubt. It has the best resolution I have ever seen. Glad I purchased this on sale for $350 - a great deal!

this is a GREAT little machine for anybody really? it makes a wonderful daily user or as a gift idea for somebody? I got one for my sister and she LOVES it so much im thinking of getting one for myself too now.

I love how quickly the laptop loads and comes to life every time I open it. The icons and images are also super clear and bright. Looking through my photos is also fun because they are just extremely sharp and easy to see.

I got this laptop for school but the application was not Compatible. Also it the screen freezes on and off. Haven’t gotten a chance to get it check out but it’s seems like a good laptop aside from the small problem.

Bought this for my knuckle head son who breaks everything, the computer does what it needs to do for a college student and sturdy enough for my son who breaks things unintentionally.

I wanted something I could use in place of my old desktop computer. So far it does everything I need it to do. I already have a Samsung phone so I like the Android platform. I would reccomend this product!
